It was the lot of these legendary structures that fell into history and became an integral part of it.

Kalashnikov machine gun

The model was developed by the domestic firearms designer M. T. Kalashnikov. The unit is used as a small weapon and is also built into armored personnel carriers. The 7.62 caliber light machine gun has 8 types, shots are fired at a speed of 750 shots per minute. The butt is designed according to the model of Degtyarev’s weapon. However, the barrel was made longer in order to avoid reducing the speed of the projectile.

Since 1961, over 1 million weapons have been manufactured; firearms are still produced in our country today.

Originality comes at a price

As you know, the price of goods is determined by supply and demand. On the one hand, the demand for Kalashnikov assault rifles is still huge. At the beginning of 2017, Kalashnikov General Director Alexey Krivoruchko admitted that the concern’s enterprises had to switch to working in three shifts due to increased export orders. He also stated that the demand for firearms quadrupled from 2015 to 2017 alone.

But on the other hand, the supply is constantly growing thanks to non-stop “cloning”. Especially on the black market, where the authenticity of the purchased products is not so important. That is why the cost of a machine from country to country and from supplier to supplier, depending on the characteristics, manufacturer and condition, can vary several times.

According to Foreign Policy magazine, you can buy a barrel for $10 from resellers in Afghanistan, where weapons flowed in streams during the war. However, this is rather a myth, just like the fact that in some countries AK is cheaper than chicken. More realistic are the assessments of a correspondent for the Chinese agency Sina, who found that the least valuable on the black market in Afghanistan are machine guns made in a handicraft manner in Pakistan. Due to the lack of a quality control system during production, such weapons can fail after a couple of shots, so they do not sell more than $200 for them. But no one will sell it for less than 50 greenbacks.

Duplicates released in Hungary, Egypt, Poland, Romania and Yugoslavia - for example, AIMS, Tantal or Zastava - are more reliable, and therefore cost more. Their prices range from $300 to $350. But for the Chinese twin of the Kalashnikov assault rifle - Type 56 - you can already get about 400 dollars.

For 70-350 dollars, as RIA Novosti writes, you can buy a Kalashnikov assault rifle, or rather a similar one, in the USA. For about the same money, Russia officially sold machine guns in the early 2000s. For example, under a 2005 contract with Caracas, Moscow received $38.6 million for 100 thousand AK-103 assault rifles.

The most popular in the States is the Kalashnikov assault rifle chambered for 7.62x39mm - depending on the country of manufacture, in brand new condition today it will cost approximately $600-700, notes the Zvezda TV channel. The version chambered for 5.45×39mm with a polymer body kit from Magpul will cost a little more - exactly one thousand.

At the same time, Americans hold Russian AKs in special esteem. Moreover, copies imported from Russia even before the introduction of sanctions can cost almost twice as much.

The most expensive Kalashnikov assault rifles and analogues, according to Foreign Policy, are in India - their cost there can reach 3.8 thousand dollars. However, this figure is likely to change soon. After all, at the beginning of March 2022, a plant for the production of AK-203 opened in the Indian city of Corva and, according to some reports, New Delhi has already received 50 thousand of these assault rifles from Moscow. This means that the availability of weapons on the local market will increase, which will push the price down.

In Russia, judging by the advertisements on the Internet, you can buy a modernized Kalashnikov assault rifle with at least 35 thousand rubles. For that kind of money they sell weapons produced at the Izhevsk arms factory in 1968. About 50 thousand are already being asked for the AK-74. At the same time, the advertisement is silent about whether these are cold trunks...

M-1911

The pistol is a self-loading weapon. It was designed by D. Browning for the 45 ACP cartridge. From 1911 to the 1990s, the American army armed itself with firearms. In addition, it has been the weapon of choice for criminal gangs over the past 50 years and is the weapon of choice for hitmen. The pistol was never modified after 1926.

The “grandfather” of modern small arms is easy to maintain, resistant to the external environment, and has a low volume level. The weapon is equipped with a special mechanism used for lighting and a small-sized optical sight.

HK MP-5

The weapon is part of a family of assault rifles created in 1966 by Heckler & Koch from Germany. It is a lightweight model of the HK G3, but is convenient for fighting in urban environments and in confined spaces. To date, the sample has been modified 17 times; all its varieties have been manufactured in the amount of 10 million copies. Increased accuracy when shooting makes it possible to fire about eight hundred rounds per minute. The machine gun was used in military operations against terrorists and in special operations to rescue hostages.

Top 10: most popular firearms models

There have been many changes in military tactics over the past 65 years. The main reason for the change was the development of firearms and access to them. In this article you will see the most popular weapon models and understand the reason for the popularity of each of them. Unfortunately, it is impossible to estimate exactly how many of each gun model were produced (mainly due to the large number of counterfeits). The article provides some figures that are as accurate as possible, but it is worth considering that these are only approximate estimates. 10. PKK Over a million

The Kalashnikov machine gun is a universal machine gun developed by Mikhail Kalashnikov. During his life, Kalashnikov created several effective and unpretentious models of firearms that changed the history of the second half of the twentieth century. There are six official varieties of the Kalashnikov Machine Gun, and a huge number of unofficial foreign models. The machine gun is capable of firing 750 shots per minute; The caliber of the bullets used in it is 7.62x54 mm. The PC is popular among guerrilla groups and militias for its wide applicability and ease of use. The machine gun can be used as an easel machine gun, mounted on a tripod machine, or as an armored personnel carrier gun, mounted using a bracket. The machine gun was used in almost all armed conflicts of the second half of the 20th century and is still produced in Russia and other countries. 9. M1911 More than two million

A legendary pistol that has existed longer than any other service weapon. Was developed by the legendary John Browning over 100 years ago. During the existence of the pistol, at least 2 million samples were produced. It has been used in the US military services for 79 years. Most of the examples in use today are the 1926 model M1911A. The M1911 was used both by the Soviet Army, to which it was supplied as aid during the war, and by Nazi Germany, which used this model as a captured weapon. Now these pistols are used in many countries, from Haiti to Luxembourg. 8. MP5

MP5, created by Germany in 1966, is used by many special units and services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Western countries. To date, more than 50 modifications of the MP5 have been created, which dominate the small arms market for internal affairs services to this day. The only real competitor in this market is the successor to the UMP, created by the same company. Ironically, the German Army did not adopt the MP5 for economic reasons, instead they licensed the Israeli UZI submachine gun. The main factor in the success of the MP5 is that the company did not develop it from scratch, but simply successfully adapted its most popular and well-proven G3 rifle for urban battles and confined spaces. 7. FAL 2000000+

While the Kalashnikov assault rifle was in service with all Warsaw Pact countries, the same picture was observed with the FAL assault rifle in NATO countries throughout the Cold War. Although this automatic rifle has received the informal nickname “The Right Hand of the Free World,” it is currently used by militias. The long popularity of the FAL is explained by the ability to fire accurately at distances of 600 meters and a rate of fire of 700 rounds per minute. This is one of the classic automatic rifles of the second half of the 20th century and at least 2 million copies have been produced since its creation. It was used by a variety of groups, from the Islamic Fundamentalists of the Philippines to the British Army. 6. G3

G3 was created in the last years of World War II in West Germany. Along with the FAL and AR-10, the G3 was created to NATO specifications and competed in the race for the title of main rifle in the armies of Western countries until the late 50s. In 1959, the Bundeswehr (German army) adopted the G3, after which a huge number of its copies were produced. Just like the AK-47, the G3 is an example of how, after the end of the Cold War, many states began to sell their surplus weapons around the world. For this reason, the G3 was used in the Portuguese Colonial War and even in the Mexican Drug War. 5. AR15 More than 8 million

In 1956, it introduced the AR-10, with the then-revolutionary ability to switch fire modes (semi-automatic and automatic), but this did not impress the US Army enough for the AR-10 to become the standard infantry automatic rifle. However, Armalite decided to produce 100 prototypes of this rifle for arms dealer Samuel Cummings to try to find a foreign customer interested in the AR-10. Cummings nearly struck a deal to supply 7,500 of them to Nicaragua, but when Nicaraguan Army General Anastasia Somoza independently tested the strength of the rifle, a piece of the weapon broke off and flew past Anastasia's head. After this incident, the deal was canceled and Armalite found itself in a desperate situation. In an attempt to save the company, Armalite chief engineer Eugene Stoner tried to create a self-loading rifle - the AR-15. The rights to it were immediately sold, who were able to convince the US Army to adopt it under the M16 brand. The M16 became the signature weapon of the Americans in the Vietnam War and subsequently evolved into the M4 assault rifle that is in service today. 4. RPG-7 9000000+

The RPG-7 Anti-Tank Grenade Launcher is the most widely used anti-tank weapon in the world. The grenade launcher is used to combat all types of enemy armored vehicles, and also in some cases against infantry. More than 9 million RPGs have been produced by the Soviet Union since the end of World War II. This grenade launcher has rightfully become legendary, along with its comrades PKM and AK-47. Copies are still produced today, thanks to their good price-quality ratio. It is even used by US troops in training the Afghan National Police due to the extreme prevalence of the grenade launcher in Afghanistan. 3. UZI 10000000+

UZI became legendary in particular thanks to the famous scene of the shooting of gangsters by the hero of the cult film “Scarface” Tony Montana. The UZI, one of Israel's most famous export products, was created in 1951, and its more established Mini and Micro variants were developed in 1982 and 83 respectively. The armed forces of more than 90 countries, as well as a huge number of special forces, are armed with this submachine gun. Being the main competitor of the MP5, the UZI was able to fill the niche of a light, fast-firing and stealthy weapon. By this time, more than 10 million copies of UZI had already been released worldwide. 2. Remington 10,000,000+

As the only shotgun on this list, the Remington's popularity leaves all other shotguns far behind. At least 10 million of these pump-action shotguns have been produced since 1951. The main advantages of Remington are its low production price and the ability to shoot both buckshot and bullets up to 28 caliber. The shotgun is equally popular among both civilians and the military, and is present in every US department dealing with weapons. Remington is represented in half the G20 countries (though China uses it without a license) and has been seen in 80 films. An interesting fact is the widespread use of this model, although Remington was not used by militias and rebels in armed conflicts not approved by the UN. 1. AK-47 100 million

The 1947 Kalashnikov assault rifle, created by Mikhail Kalashnikov, is the most popular weapon on this list and of all time. The assault rifle was created by Kalashnikov after he saw how poorly equipped the Red Army was compared to the army of Nazi Germany, armed with submachine guns and machine guns like the MP40 and STG44. From that moment on, a competition began in the USSR to develop an assault rifle for the Soviet Army. Given the dire conditions on the Eastern Front, Kalashnikov developed the most reliable weapon in the world. The AK-47 was adopted by the Soviet Army in 1949 and was first used during the Chinese Communist Revolution. Of course, the AK-47 and other modifications of the Kalashnikov assault rifles are the most anticipated item on this list - the assault rifle is widely known in popular culture and has even been placed on the flag of Mozambique. During the Cold War, 100 million copies were produced. The AK has been the best export product of Russia and Ukraine since the end of the Cold War, as aptly noted by Nicolas Cage's character in the film Baron of Arms.

FN FAL

The automatic rifle is manufactured in Belgium and has been used more than once during conflicts and local wars. Serial production of the gun was launched in the 50s; it is used in 13 countries. As a result of the latest modification, the rifle is equipped to use the 7.62x51 mm NATO cartridge. The weapon has become popular due to the ability of targeted shooting at a distance of 600 meters; the weapon’s rate of fire is 700 shots in 60 seconds.

The best submachine guns

The gameplay of submachine guns is active movement around the map. This is due to the fact that they lose effectiveness even at medium distances. To run fast, you need to wear the lightest possible armor. With such rapid movement, it is very easy to avoid enemy shots, so you will not die often.

Here are the best SMGs in the game.

Kriss Vector

The damage is relatively small, but the rate of fire is gigantic. Almost the entire store is consumed in one line. Thanks to this, the enemy is killed almost instantly. Almost does not slow down the player. In light armor with Vector you can run very fast. Just a must-have for fans of fast-paced gameplay.

To increase damage, Vector can be loaded with ammo that causes bleeding. This will help make a kill if you don't finish off an enemy in heavy armor, but he doesn't have a first aid kit. In this case, the enemy will die 1-2 seconds after the fire hits him.

PP-2000

The main advantage of PP is that it is available already at level 2 at the “Edge Settlement”. The rate of fire is quite low, but the damage is almost like that of a machine gun. Yes, and at medium distance it’s enough. The downside is the low armor penetration. It will be difficult to kill an enemy with heavy armor. Most likely, you just won't shoot him.

OTs-02

This PP is available already at the 2nd level of “Vagabonds”. Its main advantage is its extremely low deceleration. If you wear light armor, you will run very fast.

Damage is average. To kill an enemy, it takes about 15 shots (you can also hit the body). Given the high rate of fire, these 15 bullets will be fired in a split second and the kill will be guaranteed.

Another thing is that after a kill you will definitely have to recharge. This is the main catch. You won’t be able to participate in long firefights; they can kill you when reloading. So the tactics with this SMG are: kill, run away, reload, and go into battle again.

HK G3

The machine gun was used by the German armed forces starting in 1959. The weapon's firing rate is 500-600 salvos per minute, the projectile flies quickly - up to 850 meters per second. The ammunition kit includes bullets and rifle grenades. In addition to the high characteristics shown by the machine gun in a combat situation, it is worth noting the low cost of its maintenance. To reduce the weight of the unit, the designers created a durable plastic receiver instead of a standard steel magazine.

M-16

The rifle, developed by designers from the United States, has assault status; its operation involves the use of the power of powder gases. The aimed shot distance is 800 meters, the cartridge flies at a speed of 900 meters per second. The rifle is used by US infantrymen. Its trigger mechanism is trigger-type and fires in single volleys and bursts. The cartridge, entering the flesh, seems to perform a “somersault”, thereby inflicting a severe laceration.

Best shotguns

The gameplay with shotguns is very similar to the gameplay with submachine guns. They hit only at close (less often at medium) distance, while inflicting colossal damage. You won't be able to run fast with them - shotguns have a large slowdown. Therefore, medium armor is relevant with them (light armor is pointless, and heavy armor limits movement).

Next are the best shotguns in the game.

Saiga-12

Available at level 5 of the “Settlements Region”. The damage is colossal - 175. This is almost like a sniper rifle. But it is only effective at a distance of 25 meters.

Slowdown is something between PP and automatic weapons. You can move quickly, but not as fast as with submachine guns.

2-3 targeted shots to the body at point-blank range are guaranteed to kill. If you install a collimator on a shotgun, the entry into the sight will be very fast, so up close it is a real death machine.

BENELLI M4

Unlocks at level 4 of the Settlements of the Edge contract. It is inferior in damage to Saiga, but has a very high rate of fire - 350. Thanks to this, it is much more effective at close range.

But there is one serious disadvantage - slowdown. You can't run with Benelli like you can with Saiga.

RPG-7

The grenade launcher is a hand-held weapon used in the fight against tanks. It was designed in the USSR. Based on it, a simplified version for paratroopers was created, which has a detachable barrel. The grenade launcher is used to destroy enemy armored vehicles, you can hit targets in the sky, and destroy a dugout. The unit is good for its ease of use and budget price. In addition, it does not give recoil. Since 1968, the RPG-7 has been used in various military conflicts.

UZI

The machine was created by Israeli designers. It is functional, compact and balanced. The quality is evidenced by the following fact: weapons are preferred by military personnel from 90 countries on our planet. Over the entire history of use, 10 million firearms have been manufactured.

The Uzi gained even greater fame after the weapon was used in the scene of the shooting of a mafioso in the film Scarface. Thanks to its small dimensions and easy recharging, the unit is convenient for use in tight spaces. Following the end of the Suez War, the machine gun was modernized. We increased the height of the handle, updated the materials of the forend and butt.

Remington-870

The weapon was first used in 1950 and is still preferred by law enforcement officers, shooting sportsmen, and hunting enthusiasts. It is praised for its reliable build and reasonable cost. You can choose to shoot with bullets or buckshot. Originally released, the Wingmaster is now produced in limited quantities for collector use. The Express Combo version of the weapon is sold with two barrels: a slug and a shotgun.

AK-47

The Kalashnikov assault rifle is recognized as the most reliable on the planet. It was invented for military personnel fighting in difficult climatic conditions. According to statistical studies, more people were injured by the machine gun than by aerial bombs and rocket attacks.

The original model was designed to use a shortened 7.62 mm bullet, most likely the German Kurz. The submachine gun fires 600 shots in 60 seconds; the cartridge at the exit from the barrel accelerates to 715 meters per second.

Chemical weapon

The first mass use of chemical weapons in combat conditions occurred near the Belgian city of Ypres in April 1915. Then the Germans released clouds of chlorine at the enemy from cylinders pre-installed on the front line. Then 5 thousand died and 15 thousand French, unprepared for such a turn, were seriously poisoned. Then the armies of all countries dabbled in the use of mustard gas, phosgene and bromine, not always getting the expected result. The Japanese repeatedly used chemical weapons in combat operations in China during the next world war. For example, when bombing the city of Woqu, they dropped a thousand chemical shells on it, and another 2,500 aerial bombs were dropped on Dingxiang. The Japanese used chemical weapons until the end of the war. According to rough estimates, about 50,000 soldiers and civilians died from the use of chemical weapons. The next large-scale use of chemical weapons was distinguished by the Americans in Vietnam, who in the 60s sprayed 72 million liters of defoliants over its jungles, with the help of which they sought to destroy the vegetation in the thick of which the Vietnamese partisans, who so annoyed the Yankees, were hiding. These mixtures contained dioxin, which had a cumulative effect; as a result, people developed diseases of the blood and internal organs, and genetic mutations occurred. Almost 5 million Vietnamese suffered from American chemical attacks, and the number of victims continued to grow after the end of the war. The last time chemical weapons were used in Syria was in 2013, and the conflicting parties blamed each other for this. As we can see, the ban on chemical weapons by the Hague and Geneva conventions does not stop the military much. Although Russia destroyed 80% of the chemical weapons reserves it inherited from the USSR.

The most dangerous race tracks in the world: Top 10

A guide to the ten most dangerous race tracks in the world has been published by the XCAR community. Here there are not only notorious among lovers...

AA-12

The shotgun was created by Maxwell Atchisson, during the creation of which he used an automatic system with a blowback bolt. The mechanism is designed based on the AAS, a weapon useful at short ranges. The weapon is characterized by a gradual increase in recoil impulse, similar to what happens with the Ultimax 100 machine gun. The bolt uses a gas piston located at the top. The magazine drum contains 32 bullets, so 12-gauge ammunition can be used for shots.

Best sniper rifles

Gameplay with “snipers” is camping. You sit down somewhere in the bushes and wait. And he himself is completely safe. After all, sniper rifles in Survarium penetrate almost the entire map. Many people don’t like this game, but it has its adherents.

In close combat they are almost useless due to the low rate of fire and the inability to aim properly. Therefore, if you play as a sniper, it is better to take a rapid-fire pistol as your second weapon.

Here are the best sniper rifles.

SV-98

A rifle from the “Settlement Edge” faction, which becomes available for purchase at the 4th level of the contract. Sometimes it won't penetrate heavy armor, but most of the time it will one-shot. There is almost no scatter at long distances. You can also kill with a body shot from afar, but to do this you need to use ammunition that causes bleeding.

ASVK

This rifle becomes available at level 5 from the Vagabonds. Everything here, plus or minus, is the same as with the SV-98, but with one “but”. In most cases, ASVK one-shots from any distance. In addition, she can kill with one hit to the body. At a long distance, the enemy may not die. But 90% of his health will be removed.

The rifle causes heavy bleeding. So if you don’t finish off someone, there’s a 50-60% chance he’ll die in a few seconds (unless, of course, he doesn’t have a first aid kit or bandage).

The weapon is ideal for a sniper who covers the team from a long distance.

VSSK "Exhaust"

Heavy sniper rifle with an integrated silencer. Available at level 5 of the Settlements of the Edge contract. One-shots even when hit to the body. But at long distances, the ballistics of the bullet is disrupted, so it will not be possible to shoot adversaries from the other end of the map (as with ASVK). However, this is compensated by the fact that the sound of the shot is not heard, and the shooter himself is not displayed on the map.

Glock 21

A self-loading pistol created by a company from Austria. It operates using recoil with a short stroke at the barrel. Cocking and additional cocking of the trigger device is done before firing the shot. The weapon is not afraid of flying down from a height, falling into the mud, or being run over by a truck.

The sample is produced in two versions:

  • 21C. There is a compensator near the muzzle end, so powder gases escape to a minimum. The barrel practically does not jump when fired;
  • There is a special button used for the clip. The handle is not so wide, and with the help of a Picatinny mount you can install a laser target pointer.

Neutron bomb

The invention belongs to the American Samuel Cohen. Initially, a weapon with great destructive power was intended. But, after tests, it was established that the shock wave occurs due to 10% of the energy released during the explosion. For comparison, when an atomic bomb is detonated, more than half of the released energy goes into the destructive process.

Despite the failed tests, the Americans found that a power of 5-6 kilotons is capable of neutralizing missile launchers and electronics. Thus, neutron bombs began to be used in missile defense systems. Therefore, further development of neutron devices was directed towards the creation of guns that are capable of accumulating a directed flow of such particles. Currently, neutron weapons are used in the armies of three countries: France, the USA and Russia.

HK MG4

The machine gun, created by German engineers, has a 45 caliber. Designed based on the G36 assault rifle. It has a high rate of fire, is accurate, and is practical to use. The supply of cartridges takes place thanks to a loose belt, from which 770 shells jump out in 60 seconds. The kit includes a stand with which you can install the weapon wherever it is convenient for you, on an armored vehicle or other vehicle.

STEYR AUG A3

The weapon was created in Austria and represents the latest type of the AUG family. The gun is designed using the bullpup principle. The bolt assembly and magazine are located behind the trigger. Shooting is carried out using automatic mode, in single volleys and three shots. A special “Picatinny” device helps to equip the desired type of sight: night, optical or open.

AK-12

A modification of an assault rifle from the AK family was made in 2012; today the new Kalashnikov is used by the Russian army along with the Ratnik equipment set. The lethal shot range is 500 meters; 650 salvos can be fired in a minute. It is possible to switch the safety, pull the bolt and change the clip with one hand. The pulse is shifted, this helps in increasing the accuracy of shots using the powerful 7.62x51 mm caliber. There is a muzzle brake and can be easily replaced with a tactical silencer.

The best carbines

Gameplay with a carbine is a cross between a game with a machine gun and a sniper rifle. Due to their relatively high rate of fire, they are good at close range. At the same time, carbains can be obtained even from afar. But for the keel you will need not 1, but 2-3 shots.

Here are the best carbines in Survarium.

SOCOM-16

The best option for long and medium distances. One-shots headshots even at a considerable distance. Once installed, the optics can rival some sniper rifles.

It is not very good at close ranges due to its low rate of fire. But if you get used to it, you can use SOCOM even short-term.

Available already at level 3 of the Black Market.

SVD

The rate of fire is even lower than SOCOM. But the damage is 10 units more. And this is the decisive factor. 2 shots at point blank range is enough to kill. Even heavy armor can be penetrated.

The SVD also hits well from a distance. For a kill, one shot to the head and 3-4 to the body are enough.

The carbine is available at level 4 from the Renaissance Army.

TAR-21

The machine gun was invented by Israeli designers in 1993, and was put into service in 2001. The modification increased the percentage of reliability, improved the rear sight, and made the handle thicker.

The main advantages of the weapon: well protected from physical damage, stable, comfortable to use for both left-handers and right-handers. The design is well thought out, and with the help of ergonomics, the weapon is easier to camouflage from the enemy. The classic chamber holds 30 bullets; the high-capacity magazine holds 100 rounds.

Laser weapons

And this is already a harbinger of the future, about which you can start fantasizing now. It is known that America is developing laser guns. Thus, in 2010, successful tests of the latest weapons were conducted off the coast of California. The power of the laser gun was 32 MW.

According to engineering calculations, with the help of such weapons it will be possible to hit distant targets. We are talking about hundreds of kilometers. This means that in the foreseeable future a powerful cannon will be able to reach objects of destruction directly from space.
