Installing GPU on Hatsan: Striker 1000, Striker Edge and AirTact

Breakage of the trigger mechanism is one of the most common problems with Turkish Hatsan 125 rifles. In addition to this, many gunsmiths agree that the trigger of this model has one of the most complex devices. However, if you have certain knowledge and instructions at hand, it will not be difficult to carry out repairs, and most importantly, put the trigger back together.

Replacing the Hatsan 125 spring with your own hands

Hatsan 125 installation of a gas spring
Open the box and remove the rifle, putting aside everything unnecessary

Unscrew the screws and separate the stock

Take a drift and push out three pins. Two from the top, starting from the left. We leave the right one in place. And one below, which is the axis of the first sear and passes through the welded ears.

Using needle-nose pliers, release the spring of the automatic fuse. Then we disassemble and remove the parts of the manual safety device, remembering their location. We also pull out the pin of the second sear; it goes through the manual safety plate.

Next, remove the trigger block and remove the automatic and manual safety plates. Then we unscrew the bolt to which the stock is attached at the rear point. We squeeze out the last pin, after which we can remove the backdrop and release the spring, we won’t need it anymore..

Now you can take the gas spring and see how it will all be located. If the correct springs are used, there is no need to modify the rear of the rifle. We just put the centering washer on the protrusion of the backdrop, similar to the original guide, and that’s it
