2022 Tank 800: the most luxurious yet
This model is declared as a flagship, which is easy to believe when looking at the appearance of the car and its interior. A sort of Chinese Rolls-Royce Cullinan with a lot of original parts, emphasized by premium equipment and the same level of “technique”. The 800th Tank is the only one among its brothers that immediately receives a fully independent suspension with pneumatic elements, as well as a load-bearing body. It is clearly not designed for off-road travel, which, among other things, is hinted at by the velvet interior trim.The premium “Tank” of the 2022 model year is trying with all its might to look “expensive”, and this is not feigned luxury, because even in terms of technical aspects, the Tank 800 will compare favorably with other SUVs of the Chinese brand. It is stated that the flagship will only have hybrid engines with an electric motor included in the automatic transmission.
A PHEV version is expected later, with charging from the mains.

The first-born of the new car brand immediately captivated the market with its somewhat old-fashioned design, which referred either to the Ford Bronco or the Jeep Wrangler.From the very beginning, the 2022 Tank 300 was conceived as the most compact Tank, so it received a 4.5-meter body, and its off-road ambitions were emphasized by simple unpainted bumpers and massive linings on the wheel arches. The “face” of the SUV was decorated with classic round headlights, but to give them a special style, stripes of running lights were added to them.
When building the chassis, the Chinese took the frame base from the Haval H9 SUV, installed an independent front suspension, mounted a solid axle at the rear, and chose permanent all-wheel drive with lowering and differential locks as the transmission.

The Tank 700 was shown as a concept in the spring of 2022, even before the 400th model, but it clearly conveyed some ideas to the latter in terms of exterior design. The squared wheel arches here look different thanks to the black glossy plastic, and the original optics, different bumpers and a spare tire in a monolithic casing make this car completely unique.
The car turned out to be less angular than the Tank 400, and its “parquet” tires clearly hint at driving on asphalt. But even here, permanent all-wheel drive and supercharged engines are already mandatory for all Tanks, which the manufacturer so far declares as 2.0- and 3.0-liter.
The presentation of the 700 was no less magnificent than any other car of the Chinese sub-brand, and the manufacturer again tried to attract the public’s attention with the luxury of its interior trim. This time, impractical brown suede was used liberally, which is unlikely to be used on production cars. However, the rest of the list of equipment can be quite long - with large displays on the front panel, multi-zone climate control, multi-contour seats, etc.
