In order to play his role in this film as realistically as possible, actor Shia LaBeouf (he played the character of Boyd Swan) filed down his tooth and refused to swim for a long time. The latter greatly irritated the entire film crew.

T-34

1941 Nikolai Ivanushkin goes to the front, and the guy is assigned to tank crew. After his comrades die in one of the battles, Nikolai takes control of the tank. The hero desperately enters into an unequal battle with the enemy and soon Ivanushkin is captured.

Finding himself in a concentration camp, the guy tries to escape more than once, but all his plans collapse. However, when Klaus Jager decides to train his tank crews on Russian prisoners and captured T-34 tanks, the hero has a new chance to escape. Together with a team of like-minded people, Nikolai is going to steal a long-familiar combat vehicle in order to go home in it.

The director's cut of this film is 78 minutes longer than the international version. The international version has a running time of 113 minutes.

Western Front

1953 There are 3 days left until the end of the Korean War. However, the soldiers from the northern and southern parts of the country do not know this and continue to fight each other. Thus, representatives of the opposing armies Nam-bok and Yong-gwan become real enemies.
