Traumatic pistol phantom 11x22t, review with photos and videos

The Phantom traumatic pistol (its full name is the Phantom-T 11x22t traumatic pistol) was invented and produced by specialists from the Turkish company Target Technologies. The first samples of weapons appeared in 2011. The Phantom was made on the basis of the Austrian Glock-17 pistol, and in terms of external design it is very similar to it.

It must be admitted that this was a very bold and far-sighted step by Turkish manufacturers in a commercial sense. The Glock-17 pistol is a famous and legendary weapon. In almost every second modern Western action movie, its heroes are armed with a Glock-17 pistol, therefore, understandably, having heard that a “traumatic Glock” might soon appear on sale, fans of many countries (including Russia) began to wait impatiently the appearance on the market of a traumatic analogue of the Austrian legend.

Phantom-T design

Of course, Turkish engineers tried to preserve as much as possible the main mechanisms from the combat counterpart and, frankly, they did a good job.
This affects the high reliability of the pistol and a high supply of working resources, which is enough not only for self-defense, but also for regular sports and recreational shooting. The trigger mechanism is made on the principle of double action. Shooting can be carried out either by self-cocking or from a pre-cocked hammer. The barrel bore in Turkey was taken care of in a special way, depriving anyone experienced of any opportunity to fire with live ammunition. For this purpose, four barriers were made in it.

The thickness of the barrel walls is 5 millimeters; there are certain features here. The false trunk itself has walls with a thickness of 2.5 millimeters. Another 2.5 millimeters is occupied by the liner - a steel liner, which is made from a mixture of weapon steel, chromium and molybdenum. The liner increases corrosion resistance, extending the life of the pistol.

Target Technologies takes care of the safety of every buyer of its weapons. To do this, they introduced three automatic fuses into the Phantom-T. To be able to fire a shot, the shooter must lock the lever, which is built into the trigger, and the button, which is located on the handle, by firmly squeezing the handle of the gun. Thus, an accidental shot cannot occur even if the trigger is fully pressed, which is a definite advantage for a traumatic pistol.

On the left side of the frame there is a bolt stop lever and a magazine release. As mentioned above, the magazine holds 10 rounds and is built according to a box-like design. A sighting mechanism is standard here. The Turks did not try to split hairs in this regard and made a fixed front and rear sight, which is quite enough for targeted shooting. Complete disassembly of the pistol is carried out in exactly the same way as the Glock 17.

Under the barrel on the frame there is a special guide that allows each Phantom-T owner to install additional tactical devices. These include, for example, a laser sight or a small flashlight, which increase the effectiveness of the weapon in the dark.

The technical characteristics of this weapon are as follows:

  • For shooting, 10x22T cartridges are used;
  • The total length of the pistol is 200 millimeters;
  • The length of the pistol barrel is 114 millimeters;
  • The height of the weapon is 140 millimeters;
  • The width of the pistol is 30 millimeters;
  • The weight of the unloaded pistol is 850 grams;
  • The magazine holds up to 10 charges.

general information

The first thing that confused the average consumer was the place of production of this pistol. The development and creation of Phantom-T was carried out by the Turkish company Target Technologies. Turkish weapons on the Russian market were treated with skepticism after several seemingly failed projects.

But some projects turned out to be failures only at the start of sales. The main feature of Turkish arms companies is their desire to enter into dialogue with consumers. They are ready to listen to all reviews, collect an unlimited amount of information about shortcomings and fix everything.

That is why, after a certain period after the start of sales, high-quality pistols begin to appear on the shelves, which take into account all the wishes of the average consumer. And if the weapon becomes less than perfect, it definitely has good quality.

Huge concerns on the part of gun lovers were due to the fact that before the start of sales of this gun, information appeared about the material from which the bolt would be made. It was planned to make the shutter from light alloy metal. As a result, the bolt was made of durable steel and came out strong and reliable.

The weight of the weapon was reduced for comfortable carrying due to the frame of the gun. They made it out of plastic, but equipped it with a skeleton made of steel. A small negative point is associated with the introduction of plastic into structures. After firing, marks will remain on the body, but, as practice shows, they will be painstakingly disguised by the texture of the plastic.

How to buy a traumatic pistol Phantom T

Traumatic pistol phantom
The pistol, like other samples of OOP, is subject to mandatory registration. Also, for purchase, a license is required confirming the user’s right to carry and use the “injury” in emergency situations, or as a sporting weapon.

You should also be careful when purchasing a Phantom-T on the secondary market: it is imperative to check all the seller’s documents, from licenses to identification cards, in order to fully legalize the purchase of a pistol. It is recommended to purchase only in stores that have a full package of documents for trading traumatic weapons

Accessories

A number of accessories have been released for the Phantom T pistol, ensuring comfortable use - bandoliers for equipped magazines, spare magazines, spare magazines with an ergonomic attachment (useful for those with large hands). As a holster, you can use either a standard Glock 17 pistol holster or modified FAB Defense plastic holsters.

Also, you can install a laser sight mark and a flashlight on the pistol, thanks to the presence of a Piccatini rail on the pistol frame. Of course, in this case you will have to forget about the standard holster; all this attachment will not fit into it.

Ammo selection

Mts 21-12: gun review, photo, video

The manufacturing company initially decided to produce two versions of weapons at once for different calibers of cartridges. You can install 9mm R.A. ammunition. and .45 Rubber. Moreover, both models of traumatic weapons differed in the capacity of cartridges in the clip - 9 and 15 pieces.

Most trauma lovers were interested in this news, since the arms market simultaneously receives two high-quality models of weapons, but with different characteristics due to the use of the corresponding ammunition.

At the same time, there were significant disadvantages: the use of such a powerful weapon in the summer, when the attacker is not protected by thick clothing, can lead to problems with the law. Serious penetrating injuries, including damage to internal organs, can be caused.

Of course, the designers from Turkey tried to preserve as much as possible the main mechanisms from military weapons and, by and large, they did an excellent job. This is due to the increased reliability and long service life of this product; this pistol can be used both for self-defense and for daily training shooting.

Double type trigger. The shot can be fired either by self-cocking or after cocking the hammer. There are four partitions in the barrel, which do not allow firing live ammunition.

The trunk has walls 5 mm thick, in this case there are certain features. Directly false barrel with 2.5 mm walls. Additionally, the 2.5 has a liner - a metal liner that increases resistance to the corrosion process, increasing the life of the weapon.

The pistol has three safeties. To fire, the user needs to hold down the lever located on the trigger hook, as well as the key located on the handle due to a strong grip on the pistol. This makes it impossible for a spontaneous shot to fire even if the trigger is pressed.

On the left side of the body there is a clip release button and a shutter delay lever. The magazine holds 10 rounds of ammunition; the clip is made of a box type. A rear sight and front sight are also installed, which are stationary. Under the barrel there is a Picatinny rail, which allows you to install a laser laser or tactical flashlight, which increases the effectiveness of the pistol at dusk.

About Glock 17 you can see in this video

What can be concluded from the review?

The Turkish company took a good military weapon as the basis for the new traumatic pistol. A high-quality product was manufactured that has the highest reliability and a good supply of working resources. Apart from this, Target Technologies took care of the appearance of the gun, keeping very much the design of the Glock 17.

The Phantom-T pistol has good power, which allows it to be used as the main weapon for self-defense. But it is necessary to keep in mind that in the summer its power can cause serious harm to the attacker: from open wounds to serious damage to internal organs. This can lead to legal dilemmas.

The dimensions of the weapon do not allow it to be classified as small-sized; carrying a pistol concealed is impossible even if you want to. It is best to use a holster for constant carry. In the first weeks, the impressive weight of the weapon will cause discomfort, but after a month or two you will no longer pay any attention to it.

What is better: a traumatic revolver or a traumatic pistol?

Fabarm sdass composite shotgun, tactical, pro forces, review with photos and videos

The natural desire of a person to have means of protection from attack, but not to break the law, is reflected in the proliferation of traumatic weapons. It is believed that such a weapon is difficult to cause serious injury, but at the same time its effect is sufficient to stop the attacker. Moreover, the impact on the attacker occurs not only through shooting at him, but also through the demonstration of a weapon that looks like a weapon. Hence, the practice of making “injuries” in the form of copies of real combat pistols became widespread. And now on sale you can easily find a famous example of a weapon made as a traumatic pistol.

Revolver or pistol

The design features and differences of individual types of military weapons were inherited by their copies, which seriously affected the characteristics of traumatic weapons. Thus, the endless debate about which is better: a pistol or a revolver, won in general by supporters of automatic pistols, continued. Traumatic revolver or traumatic pistol? The arguments of each side are the same as those given for military weapons. The pistol is favored by its ergonomics, high power, spacious magazine and high reload speed. The traumatic revolver, in turn, is simple and safe to use, is always ready to fire and has 100% fire reliability. A misfire will not become an obstacle to the next shot.

And yet, due to its design features, a traumatic revolver can only use cartridges that are relatively weak in power and, therefore, its effectiveness is less than that of a pistol. Hence the conclusion: if maximum destructive effect is needed, then you should choose a pistol, and if reliability and aesthetics are important, then, of course, a traumatic revolver. Why did we mention aesthetics? There are simply few people who would not find the elegant shape of the revolver attractive. And for most owners, the appearance of their gun matters much more than its effectiveness. After all, it is unknown whether you will have to use it or not, but you often have to hold it in your hands, so I would like it to be pleasant.

Traumatic revolver and ammunition for it

Revolver cartridges differ from pistol cartridges in design. Their cartridge case has a protruding flange, with which the cartridge is fixed in the drum. Thanks to this feature, as well as the length of the chamber, these cartridges are very versatile and can be fired by any traumatic revolver, as long as the caliber is appropriate. The most affordable and well-proven cartridge is the 380 ME GUM cartridge. It is produced by several domestic companies, but varies in power. The most powerful cartridge 380 ME GUM produces, its muzzle energy is 50 Joules. However, now you can find drum systems chambered for the 9 mm RA pistol cartridge, for example, the Groza traumatic revolver. The price of ammunition and weapons does not depend on its system, so it cannot be one of the reasons for choosing.

Driver's workplace: what does it look like?

Small traumatic pistol

The Kamaz 53501 cabin is cabover and equipped with a berth. Cabin features: panel-frame structure, armor protection. It has two seats: passenger and driver. The seats are classic soft with fabric upholstery. The flat dashboard leaves plenty of legroom. Glass with a vertical divider (but there are cars without it, depending on the year of manufacture). Good visibility, ventilation and heating. On the latest models, a control and diagnostic panel is installed; the display shows errors in engine operation (if they occur).

Considering the characteristics of the equipment (military vehicle), one cannot fail to mention the following options:

  • it is possible to install the “Bear” module with 6th class of protection and armor;
  • the seats are located along the walls, the module capacity is 6 people;
  • there is heating and air conditioning of the modules, there is an intercom;
  • There is a “Multilift” unloading system. The vehicle is suitable for transporting not only people, but also containers with non-flammable, bulk cargo.

Practice of using traumatic weapons in the Russian Federation

Weapons are used for self-defense.

There are known cases of the use of traumatic weapons for illegal purposes.

  • According to Harry Minkh, the representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the State Duma, “over five years on the territory of the Russian Federation, traumatic weapons were used in the commission of 1,500 crimes; as a result of the use of traumatic weapons, 60 people died and about 600 were injured and injured.”
  • later, deputy head of the DOOP of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Major General of Police L.V. Vedenov clarified that from 2005 to December 29, 2010, traumatic weapons were used to commit 2,000 crimes; as a result of the use of traumatic weapons, 65 people died and about 485 were injured.
  • On March 22, 2012, the head of the main department for ensuring the protection of public order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Police Lieutenant General Yu.N. Demidov said that “since the introduction of so-called traumatic weapons into circulation, since 2004,” about 2 thousand crimes were committed using traumatic weapons, about 100 people were killed and about 500 were injured. However, the use of traumatic weapons against combat weapons in a shootout on Rochdelskaya Street not only had no stopping effect, but also cost the lives of those who used them.

It should be taken into account that in the above cases, the statistics of “victims” do not separate criminals and their victims; the general list includes all types of illegal actions with weapons (that is, the dead and wounded due to attempted suicide, as well as accidents during handling weapons).

Despite the relatively short history of the use of self-defense weapons in Russia, legal practice has been replenished with various striking facts.

Traumatic pistol FANTOM 9 mm PA: 10 reasons to buy it today.

The background to its appearance was the desire of Russian owners of “trauma guns” (and those wishing to become them) to expand the model range of pistols, mainly due to the appearance of Glock models on the market. For well-known reasons, the Austrian manufacturer refused to convert its weapon into a non-lethal one, and a certain vacuum was created in the Russian market of self-defense weapons, which only a model from Glock could fill.

Focused on the self-defense, sporting and law enforcement markets, Glock produces a range of handguns in a variety of calibers and sizes to meet the demand for handguns in each segment.

The advantage of this scheme is that a loaded pistol with a cartridge in the chamber can be safely carried in a holster for as long as desired. The features of Safe Action include a hammerless trigger, where the firing pin is constantly half-cocked. To fire a shot, you just need to pull the trigger.

However, a push-type safety is mounted on the hook itself, which automatically turns off only when the index finger squeezes the trigger. The trigger rod cocks the firing pin, which requires an effort exceeding the mass of the pistol, and the shot occurs.

The appearance of Glock pistols with their characteristic angular square-section slide and polymer frame has become popular not only thanks to action films - despite the angular shape, the pistol is easily and secretly worn on the body, is well balanced and has no external fire controls other than the trigger.

Thus, the pistol is easy to use, carry and maintain. Having a loaded (with a cartridge in the chamber) Glock pistol, the shooter does not need to think about the fuses, trigger position, etc. at the moment of the start of fire contact.

That is, a loaded Glock in this regard is similar to a revolver: you pick it up and you can shoot right away. Naturally, Russian consumers wanted to see the advantages of Glock pistols in self-defense weapons. The first attempt to satisfy the demand of Russian consumers was made by the Turkish company Target Technologies, introducing the FANTOM 10x22 caliber pistol in 2010. Externally, the gun was very similar to a Glock weapon (100% copying is protected by numerous patents), it was very ergonomic and comfortable. But the model was ruined on the market by 3 drawbacks: an uncommon weak cartridge, an automatic fuse in the handle and an unreliable trigger because of the same fuse.

The pistol lost its automatic safety, received a new reliable trigger with the ability to fire a self-cocking shot (in case of misfire) and a 9 mm RA caliber. At the same time, the FANTOM signal pistol was announced for the .22NC Hilti mounting cartridge (.22 NC is used with a cartridge that externally imitates a 9 mm cartridge).

Given the legal requirement to carry a firearm with a limited impact (LFF) with an empty chamber and in a holster, this feature of the FANTOM pistol has proven to be in great demand.

To start shooting, you just need to remove the cartridge with the bolt into the chamber. Next, you just need to press the trigger, firing the required number of shots. The frame of the FANTOM pistol is made of impact-resistant polymer. The barrel with frame insert and bolt are made of Zamak alloy (zinc, aluminum, copper). The barrel liner with the chamber and some parts of the trigger are made of steel.

By emulating the external shape of Glock pistols, the angular slide of the FANTOM pistol is very durable, allowing it to withstand long-term operational shooting. This is also what distinguishes a simple trigger, the parts of which are very massive and durable. The grip angle is also copied from Glock and is 110 degrees, which today is recognized as the optimal grip angle for pistols with a double-stack magazine.

In the context of a traumatic FANTOM, the alarm allows you to train with weapons, get used to the sounds of shots, learn how to quickly remove a weapon, send a cartridge into the chamber, and bring it into the line of fire without the danger of an accidental shot with a traumatic cartridge. The FANTOM will fit most Glock 17 pistol holsters, so choosing your gear will not be complicated by finding the right holster.

Initially, FANTOM was designed directly for a traumatic cartridge, so all its components and parts are designed for the operational loads of firing a rubber bullet. Thanks to this, the pistol can “digest” any modern 9 RA cartridges, which today is its indisputable advantage.

Specifications

Tactical and technical characteristics are the main indicators included in the passport of any weapon. Using the given values, each amateur will be able to choose the model that best suits his requirements.

  • As already mentioned, pistols are currently produced chambered for 11x22T caliber. Initially, the Phantom was designed for 10x22T cartridges. The increased diameter of the ball has greater impact force while reducing the likelihood of causing a penetrating wound.
  • The dimensions of the weapon are one of the determining factors. The fact is that many connoisseurs of real combat examples want to see a modified copy in natural size. Indeed, the menacing appearance of a pistol in the hand can impress an attacker, although there are known cases of outbursts of aggression. But this does not mean that compact models have not found their consumers. For concealed carry, as required by law, it is necessary to choose small-sized models with a streamlined shape. The length, width and height of the Glock pistol are 20 cm, 3 cm and 14 cm, respectively.
  • With the indicated dimensions, the barrel length of the Glock pistol is 114 mm. Note that the longer the barrel, the more stable the trajectory the bullet acquires after passing through the inserts. This means that we can talk about high accuracy of fire, which means an increase in the targeted shooting distance.
  • The weight of the pistol affects its stability during firing. The greater the mass, the more inert the weapon. It is less susceptible to reactive force, which is more often called recoil. But heavy models require certain physical preparation. It is very difficult to hold the pistol for a long time while aiming. Phantom-T belongs to the category of medium-weight weapons. When discharged, the weight is 850 g.
  • Finally, the last characteristic, the meaning of which is limited by law. Developers and manufacturers have made the most of such a value as the number of cartridges in the magazine. Pistols from a foreign manufacturer with larger magazines do not undergo certification in Russia, which means they cannot be registered.

Traumatic pistol fantom 9 mm pa: 10 reasons to buy it today
In December 1994 and January 1995, Masami Tsuchiya, a member of the Japanese religious sect “Aum Shinrikyo”, on the orders of the sect leader Shoko Asahara, synthesized from 100 to 200 grams of VX, which was used for the assassination attempt for three people. Two were poisoned but did not die. One of those poisoned, a 28-year-old man, died, becoming the first VX victim ever recorded in the world. The man Asahara suspected of being a traitor was attacked at 7:00 am on December 12, 1994, on a street in Osaka. The attackers sprayed liquid VX on the victim's neck. The poisoned man chased them for about 100 meters before falling; he died 10 days later, without emerging from a deep coma. Doctors initially suspected that he had been poisoned by some kind of organophosphorus pesticide, but the true cause of death was only discovered after the cult members were arrested for the Tokyo subway bombing and confessed to the murder. Seven months after the murder, VX metabolites such as ethyl methylphosphonate, methylphosphonic acid and diisopropyl-2-(methylthio)ethylamine were detected in the victim's blood samples. Unlike sarin, VX was not used by the cult for mass murder (such as the Tokyo subway attack). On February 13, 2022, Kim Jong Nam, the brother of Kim Jong Un, the ruler of the DPRK, was killed with the help of VX. The murder occurred in the departure area of the international airport in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). Two women were involved in the murder

One distracted Kim Jong Nam's attention, while the other threw a handkerchief soaked in a toxic substance over his face from behind. We felt bad, they took him to the hospital, but he died on the way.
