And no less important is the addition of a muffler. This allowed for excellent control over shots. Which, in turn, increased the accuracy of both single shots and bursts.

Side and top rails were also added. Now it was possible to attach any additional equipment, be it a flashlight, a sight or a laser pointer. The trigger became noticeably softer, and the rate of fire was increased to 950 rounds per minute. The machine gun spat out a full magazine in one second. Now, thanks to the muffler and the muzzle handle, it was possible to shoot accurately and precisely even in fully automatic mode. The entire MP9 was only 1.5 when charged. Most of the elements were made of polymers.

All the advantages undoubtedly helped this weapon achieve success. Sold successfully in Portugal, Thailand and India. A modified version of the MP9n was adopted by the Swiss army.
