The Serbu SUPER-SHORTY smoothbore shotgun (shotgun) was originally developed by the American Mark Serbu on a custom order as a remake of the conventional Mossberg 500 shotgun in order to obtain an extremely compact weapon for combat at short distances. The conversion was successful, and Mark subsequently founded a small private company, Serbu Firearms Inc, which mass-produces SUPER-SHORTY conversions based on 12- and 20-gauge shotguns (on special order) of the Mossberg 500, Remington 870 and Maverick 88 models. These shortened shotguns, in fact, they are legal sawed-off shotguns, and fall under the scope of the American Firearms Act of 1934 (National Firearms Act of 1934). Regular American citizens can purchase Serbu SUPER-SHORTY shotguns only after obtaining permission from the federal agency BATF and paying a $5 “Any Other Weapon / AOW” gun registration fee. Police and other law enforcement agencies (including the US Army) also purchase Serbu SUPER-SHORTY shotguns, mainly for use in kicking down doors during storming premises. Serbu SUPER-SHORTY shotguns are also exported to state security units in a number of countries in the Middle East. Civilian users tend to purchase Serbu SUPER-SHORTY shotguns for home defense, as these weapons combine compactness and turning ability with the high stopping power of 12 gauge. The effective firing range of buckshot from Mark Serbu shotguns is about 7 – 10 meters, while at these ranges the characteristics of the grapeshot charge are not much different from those for full-size shotguns. To knock out door locks and hinges, as a rule, special cartridges with easily destructible bullets made of powder metal are used. If necessary, the Serbu Super-Shorti gun can also fire conventional bullet cartridges of the appropriate caliber.

The design of the Serbu SUPER-SHORTY guns is similar to the corresponding basic models. The alteration first of all consists of carefully shortening the barrel, magazine tube and its feed spring. Serbu offers three weapon lengths, with magazine capacities of 2, 3 or 4 rounds (another round can be located in the weapon's chamber). At the customer's request, a special adapter for knocking out door locks and hinges (breaching adapter) can be installed on the barrel, allowing the barrel to be rested reliably and safely for the shooter and weapon against the door before firing. Instead of a traditional movable forend, the gun is equipped with an original folding handle, and the weapon can be reloaded both with the handle folded and unfolded. Instead of a conventional stock, the Serbu SUPER-SHORTY shotgun is equipped with a pistol grip. The gun has a swivel for attaching a single-point sling for carrying the weapon.

Some weapons will be available for purchase at the Ammu-Nation store. Also, a shooting gallery will return to the game, where you can safely try out weapons. In the screenshot you can see this shooting range, or rather the shooting club where it will be: For the first time in the GTA series, the choice of weapons is presented in the form of a wheel, as it was in Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3. The wheel has 8 slots + 1 slot for a parachute (maybe for something).

The shooting mechanics are almost completely identical to those in Max Payne 3.

  1. Pistols.
  2. Machine guns, machine guns.
  3. Semi-automatic devices.
  4. Sniper rifles.
  5. Melee weapons, hand-to-hand combat.
  6. Shotguns.
  7. Grenade launchers, rocket launchers.
  8. Throwing weapons, explosives.

Small arms have the following characteristics:

  • Damage – weapon damage.
  • Fire rate – rate of fire.
  • Accuracy – accuracy (accuracy) of shooting.
  • Range – shot range.

Weapon modifications in GTA 5:

  • Muffler.
  • Sight, Thermal sight.
  • Laser target designator (LTD).
  • Collimator.
  • Flashlight.
  • Lever.
  • Butt.
  • Expansion of the magazine (clip).
  • Skins for weapons (coloring).

Tennis rocket. Although it is unknown whether it can be used as a weapon. Hammer. Will be available in special editions of the game.

Tonfa. It will be possible to “take” it from the police - this is a mandatory item of equipment for patrol officers.

Golf club. Just like with a tennis racket, it is not yet known whether it can be used as a weapon. You can find it at the golf club. Already been in GTA Vice City, GTA Vice City Stories and GTA San Andreas.

Remington 700 ADL 200th Anniversary Edition

While there is a much more expensive, super posh version of the limited edition Model 700 in honor of "Big Green"'s 200th birthday, this commemorative 700 ADL variant is the best Remington rifle for the average person. The Fleur-De Lis checkering, commemorative plaque and satin walnut stock are tasteful decorations. And what's even better is that the price is only $695.

A Remington representative at the 2016 SHOT Show told me customers were saying, “This is exactly the model we've been looking for,” and I think sales will be brisk. Available calibers: .243 Win., .270 Win., .30-06 SPRG. and .300 Win. Mag. Barrel length for standard calibers is 24 inches, for magnums - 26 inches.
