Carbine TOZ-78 - a small-caliber rifle for professional hunting

Small-caliber hunting weapons are used for hunting small animals or game, as well as for sports or training shooting. The 5.6 mm (0.22 Cal) cartridges used in the TOZ-78 provide the lethal force of a bullet at a distance of up to 100 m, therefore they are the most popular type of ammunition for such hunting. The TOZ-78 rifle, created for the use of such cartridges, was developed on the basis of half a century of experience of Tula gunsmiths.

The applied advanced method of locking the barrel bore made it possible to increase the gas pressure and increase the accuracy of the fire, as well as the penetrating power of the bullet. The low recoil force forgives such a common mistake among beginners as not pressing the butt tightly to the shoulder.

Sights TOZ-78

Mechanical sights of the open type were installed as standard sighting devices. Reviews from hunters about them are very unflattering. They have a number of disadvantages:

  • The front sight does not fit into the appearance of the carbine at all and spoils the appearance. It is for this reason that many owners try to get rid of this sighting device;
  • The rear sight is often fixed very unreliably;
  • The plastic part of the front sight is also unreliable, so the front sight can get knocked down even with weak impacts.

The receiver has a rail designed for mounting optical sights. It has the shape of a semicircle, which must be taken into account when choosing a bracket for installing an optical sight.

Owner reviews

If you can use almost any small gun for training or recreational shooting, then for hunting it is preferable to choose the TOZ-78. Thanks to the bolt action, the shooting accuracy is higher than that of semi-automatic weapons. In addition, the bolt here is equipped with a lug lug, making it possible to use more powerful cartridges.

The plastic part of the mechanical front sight causes some complaints. Even with light impacts it can get knocked down.

Features of hunting with TOZ

Many consider carbines of 5.6 mm caliber to be frivolous weapons, but when hunting with the TOZ-78, you should remember that, despite the small caliber and small charge of gunpowder in the cartridges, a bullet from a carbine can easily pierce a 50 mm board at a distance of 100 meters. Although theoretically, at a distance of 600 meters, a bullet from a TOZ-78 should completely lose its destructive power - there is no point in testing this in practice.

They usually hunt fur-bearing animals with it, especially in the taiga. In mid-latitudes with a carbine you can hunt the following animals and birds:

  • Fox;
  • Zaitsev;
  • Wood grouse, black grouse and partridge;
  • Gophers and other small animals and birds.

Hunters often set up ambushes in hay or straw stacks or are located in pre-prepared places. Some hunters use the TOZ-78 as an additional gun in conjunction with smooth-bore weapons for picking up wounded animals. It is very convenient to use the TOZ-78 for hunting black grouse, which often does not allow the hunter to get within range of a confident shot from a smoothbore gun. It is convenient to hunt black grouse in winter, when they can be seen at a distance of up to 150 meters. When shooting, it is necessary to take into account the correction for wind, since a light bullet can be blown to the side by a side wind. In order to avoid such problems, it is advisable to shoot your rifle before each hunt.

Application

TOZ-78 rifles and carbines are not used for military purposes, with the exception of local conflicts or civil wars, during which any weapon available to the population can be used. However, there is no official information on such use of TOZ-78.

Hunters use weapons to shoot ducks, hazel grouse or grouse. When hunting, the technique of firing in killing zones is used. Aiming is carried out both by optics and by a standard front sight. Shooting at a bird sitting on the water requires calculation and caution, since the bullet ricochets off the water surface and can hit a person caught in the trajectory.

Some hunters install balancing weights on the barrels to reduce the vibration of the weapon after a shot.

Lead tape can act as a load; the weight and installation location are selected experimentally.

For hunting, cartridges of the “Hunter” type, model 370 or 410, equipped with an expansive bullet, are used.

Carbine modifications

  • TOZ-78 is considered the standard model. For sale it comes with an optical sight and four magazines. Two of them can hold five rounds, while the other two can hold ten rounds.
  • TOZ-78-01 can be called the cheapest option, since the package does not include optics, and there are only two magazines. One holds 5 rounds, and the other allows you to load 10 rounds.
  • TOZ-78-04 is produced for export, therefore it has a certain feature, which is the presence of rifling on the muzzle, which allows the installation of a muffler.
  • TOZ-78-05 has a barrel whose strength is significantly higher than that of its counterparts. In addition, the design does not have an open sight, but does have optics.
  • TOZ-78-06 is an absolute analogue of the previous model, but is only produced for sale in foreign markets. There is a carving on the muzzle, and can be decorated with carvings.

Options and packaging

The standard equipment of TOZ-78 includes the following items:

  • 2 magazines for 5 rounds - one is in the rifle;
  • 2 magazines for 10 rounds;
  • 2 screwdrivers;
  • cleaning rod and rubbing rod 5.6 are available only on models 05/06;
  • Passport products. If the rifle is equipped with an optical sight, then an additional certificate for the optics is also provided.

Design of Toz-78

Trunks

The barrel for the 78th model is made using new technologies, so it has become heavier and stronger. Securely attached to the receiver. For all barrels, the modification is 536 millimeters. A closed front sight is mounted on the muzzle side of the barrel.

Gate

The bolt in this gun is combined with a powerful mainspring, because of which, it would seem, a lot of effort would have to be made to open and close the bolt. However, the overall design is made in such a way that you don’t have to put in a lot of effort.

The rifle's bolt is made in the usual type: longitudinally sliding with cocking of the mainspring when the barrel bore begins to unlock. The rigid mainspring ensures flawless breaking of the cartridge primer even in the most severe weather conditions.

The design of the gun allows the use of high-power charges, the pressure from the powder gases of which reaches 2000 kgf/cm2. For guns of a similar class, this figure does not exceed 1300. This is ensured by the presence of two combat lugs, which are located one behind the other. Strengthened locking is ensured by an additional protrusion of the bolt, which fits into a special groove in the receiver. As in the Toz-120, here the bolt is equipped with a firing pin cocking indicator.

To disassemble the shutter you will not need a lot of tools, effort and time. This allows for quick cleaning and lubrication, which is necessary for long-term and stable operation of the tool. The bolt and box are designed in an interesting way: the parts are arranged in such a way that the possibility of dirt getting inside the receiver is completely excluded.

Fuse

In Tula they took care of the safety of their customers, so they installed a non-automatic safety on their gun, which is typical for high-class rifled weapons. Thanks to this, it became possible not only to lock the trigger, but also to install the bolt in the closed position.

This design solution reduces to zero the possibility of an accidental shot while transporting and carrying the rifle. The safety activation flag is located on the right side of the weapon, where the receiver is located - on its front part.

The shops

The small Toz-78 is loaded using magazines with 5 or 10 rounds. For this carbine, a special magazine design was chosen - sector. Thus, the Toz-78 magazine has better characteristics than its older brothers, since there is no charge rearrangement.

The magazine is removed using a traditional latch. The Toz-78 carbine is protected from involuntary button pressing, which is why hunters often lost magazines.

Aim

The sight is made of a drum type and can be fixed in four different positions. The range at which you can shoot depends on its location: 25, 50, 75 or 100 meters. The front sight can easily withstand mechanical stress, as it is protected by a special housing.

Windage and windage adjustments allow each shooter to customize their vision for maximum accuracy and shooting efficiency.

Lodge

The Toz-78 stock is made of a pistol type. An attractive appearance is achieved due to the material from which it is made - birch, and the matte transparent varnish that is coated before assembly. The back of the stock is made of durable plastic, and the neck and fore-end have a notch.

Some weapon components are made of durable light alloy metal. The material is highly reliable and will serve the shooter for many years with proper care. Glass-filled polyamide is also used for the manufacture of some components.

Review of the TOZ-78 carbine

TOZ-78 appeared in 1986 and was supposed to replace outdated designs of the same plan - TOZ-17, TOZ-18

Its most important feature was a new method of locking the barrel; this technology had not been used in small guns before

The advantage of the new mechanism is the ability to use more powerful cartridges - with a powder gas pressure of up to 2000 kgf/sq. cm.

5 different modifications of the weapon are produced, including an export version in a souvenir version - with carvings on the muzzle, inlaid with metals, and so on.

The video below provides an overview of TOZ-78-01:

Advantages and disadvantages

Compared to its predecessors, the carbine has become heavier. However, this is more than offset by the greater reliability and durability of the product. So the model has plenty of advantages, which is confirmed by the rather long period of its popularity.

  • Reliability of locking allows the use of any rimfire cartridges, including high-power ones.
  • The carbine is not self-loading: the bolt action is combined with a mainspring, which in theory should have led to tight opening and closing. In fact, the spring is charged in 2 stages, so that as a result, reloading can be done with one finger.
  • The trigger mechanism is adjustable - it is possible to set acceptable parameters for both the trigger stroke and the trigger force.
  • A mechanical safety prevents an accidental discharge. When storing or carrying a weapon, it is set to the “safety” position - the bolt is in the closed position.
  • The front sight is of a closed type and is adjustable vertically and horizontally. In different modifications of the gun, it is possible to install an optical sight instead of a mechanical front sight, or even use them together, without dismantling the front sight.
  • The sight is four-position - 25, 50, 75, 100 m, which contributes to more accurate shooting.
  • The manufacturer guarantees 15,000 shots.

The disadvantages of the product include the following qualities.

  • The magazine in the carbine is not secured very securely: there is a high risk of accidental pressing and loss of the magazine. The new one will have to be adjusted to the weapon.
  • The appearance of the rifle is not particularly aesthetic: the butt is angular, the front sight resembles an outgrowth on the barrel.

Purpose

  • The TOZ-78 carbine is a reliable and simple hunting rifle for hunting small animals and birds. It can be used for both amateur and professional hunting: hunters often prefer bolt charges.
  • TOZ-78 is quite suitable for recreational or sports shooting: it is very easy to use and cheap to operate.

Varieties

The model is available in several versions.

  • TOZ-78 – basic model. It is equipped with an optical sight, not a mechanical one, and 4 sector magazines - for 5 and 10 rounds.
  • TOZ-78-01 budget modification. There are 2 box magazines available here, and a mechanical sight is installed.
  • TOZ-78-04 – export model. It is distinguished by the presence of threads on the muzzle. This allows you to install a muffler, for example.
  • TOZ-78-05 – features a weighted barrel, is equipped only with an optical sight, and there is no front sight.
  • TOZ-78-06 - the same TOZ-78-05, but in an export version - with threads, without mechanical devices. It may have a souvenir design - inlaid with precious metals, carvings and other decorations.

The TOZ-78 stock can be made with a cheek piece. In this case, the letter “L” is added to the designation.

We’ll talk about the technical characteristics of the TOZ-78 carbine (including 01, 05, 06) below.

Technical characteristics Toz

Toz-78 without an optical sight with a loaded magazine

Technical characteristics of Toz-78 are represented by the following values:

weapon weight - 2.7-3 kg; total length - 1000 mm; barrel length - 536 mm; width - 80 mm; height without optical sight - 210 mm; cartridges - .22 Long Rifle; caliber - 5.6 mm; operating principle - sliding shutter; rate of fire - up to 30 rounds per minute; initial bullet speed - 300 m/s; sighting and maximum range of destruction - 100 and 300 meters, respectively; food - sector magazine for 5 or 10 rounds.

The given performance characteristics of the carbine refer to the main model. Despite the weight of the rifle compared to its predecessors, the carbine showed excellent performance already in the first samples. With each modification they were refined, however, a number of indicators remained common.

Pros and cons of weapons

The advantages of the Toz-78 carbine include:

reliability and durability of the locking mechanism, allowing the use of cartridges of any power; adjustable trigger and sight with a wide range of configurations; a mechanical safety with a bolt lock, eliminating the possibility of an accidental shot when carrying or transporting a weapon; two-stage cocking can be carried out with one finger, despite the stiff spring; significant weapon service resource under factory warranty.

Disadvantages also include the appearance of the rifle. The narrow stock and asymmetrical front sight somewhat spoil the design of the weapon, which makes it a low priority for collecting. However, such aspects are decided on an individual level: someone replaces the butt, someone inlays the weapon.

Advantages and disadvantages

The hunting rifle model has many advantages, thanks to which many hunters prefer this small thing. The positive aspects usually include the following:

  1. Reliability. The weapon operates reliably in the harshest weather conditions. Even in severe frost, the chance of a misfire remains negligible, and used cartridges continue to be regularly ejected from the chamber by the ejector. It should also be noted that the rifle is not fussy in the quality of ammunition and works properly when using cartridges with a reinforced powder charge.
  2. Possibility of adjusting the trigger. This system is somewhat similar to the American Quat Trigger. If desired, the trigger stroke can be made softer or harder, which will be especially useful for novice shooters or those who plan to learn the art of sniper. However, unlike Western models with QT, the price tag for TOZ-78 does not exceed 20 thousand rubles.

Hunting carbine TOZ-78 with adjustable trigger

  1. High level of security. Thanks to the reliable bolt locking system, as well as the presence of an automatic safety, the chance of an accidental shot during a hunt is reduced to almost a minimum. Thanks to this, the rifle can be trusted by a teenager or a novice shooter. However, this does not mean that you can completely neglect safety rules when using TOZ-78.
  2. Wide range of possibilities for modernization. The possibility of upgrading a rifle does not end with the option of installing an optical or collimator sight on it. Changes can also be made to the design and combat systems of weapons. Not to mention the fact that TOZ-78 is available in various configurations, which allows the buyer to choose a version for themselves in the store.

Well, the fact that the service life of the carbine, according to engineers, is more than 15 thousand shots deserves special mention. Also, upon purchase, a warranty card is issued for up to 5 years or 5000 shots.

Weapons have their drawbacks, although most hunters believe that they pale in comparison to the positive aspects. However, it is better to familiarize yourself with them before making a purchase at a gun store:

  • the appearance of the rifle is not for everyone, nothing special;
  • The build quality of the carbine is not very high, it leaves much to be desired;
  • poor resistance to mechanical shock - especially the rear sight and front sight;
  • The magazine latch sometimes does not work against accidental pressing.

However, the main disadvantage of the TOZ-78 carbine is that the quality of the models is rather poor. Some hunters manage to purchase weapons in almost perfect condition. Others have to file most of the existing parts.

Tuning

Improvements to such a model essentially come down to tailoring the gun “to suit you.”

  • The simple design allows you to solder the front sight to increase the height, carry out bedding to better attach the stock to the barrel, and grind the trigger mechanism.
  • A very common improvement is the installation of a rubber butt pad, which improves grip and softens recoil.
  • Among the problems associated with the use of a carbine, the only known possibility is that the cartridges get stuck in severe frost - at -25–35 C. Craftsmen in this case modernize the bolt by replacing the rather weak extractor springs.

Reviews and prices for the small carbine TOZ-78 (01, 05, 06, etc.) are given below.

Analogs

  • The closest analogue of the Soviet small rifle is the .22 Bolt Action Rifle Wildcat model. The design of the sighting device, trigger mechanism, and stock is almost the same.
  • Of the small-caliber models that are not analogues of the one under consideration, we also recommend looking at the Remington 770, Remington 597, CZ ZKM 452 Scout, Sobol, TOZ-99, Anschutz 525.

TOZ-78, both the base model and all its versions, is an excellent option for hunting small fur-bearing animals. The simple design, light weight and good shooting accuracy ensure the small-caliber rifle's continued popularity.

Hunting with a TOZ-78 carbine is shown in this video:

Operating principle

Despite the improvement of the locking mechanism and the heavier barrel, the principle of operation of the carbine remained unchanged.

  • The mainspring is cocked when the barrel is unlocked by turning the bolt handle. Cocking is carried out in 2 stages, so there is no need to apply much force when opening.
  • The spent cartridge case is removed when the bolt is moved back - vigorously.
  • Trigger force and trigger stroke can be adjusted – the range is quite large.

Firing is carried out with the safety lever in the “fire” position - a red dot is visible on the trigger mechanism. In the “safety” position, the red dot is covered by a fuse. In this case, a latch fits into the groove of the handle, and it becomes impossible to open the shutter.

The carbine is equipped with a cocking indicator: if the hammer is cocked, the firing pin moves beyond the end of the solution. If the trigger is pulled, the ends of the bolt and the firing pin are at the same level.

The weapon must be carried, transported or stored unloaded and with the trigger pulled. Ammunition must be stored separately and out of reach.

The advantages of TOZ-78-01 over TOZ-78-15 are discussed in the video below:

Principle of operation

Despite the fact that the technical part of the weapon was noticeably modernized, its operating principle remained unchanged: it was still sharpened around the bolt mechanism. The rifle is fired through the following steps:

  1. Combat spring cocking. Occurs under the action of the bolt handle. At this moment, a cartridge case is fed from the magazine into the chamber, and the hammer is cocked into the firing position. The weapon is also automatically set to safety.
  2. Removing the gun from the safety lock. To do this, you need to move the flag on the receiver so that it closes the green dot (signals that the rifle is in safe mode) and opens the red one (the weapon is ready for battle).
  3. Shot. Pulling the trigger causes the firing pin to strike the cartridge, after which the gunpowder ignites and the bullet ejects. The spent cartridge remains in the chamber.
  4. Recharge. The rifle is reloaded using the same bolt action. The hunter opens the frame, after which the cartridge case flies out of the chamber under the action of the ejector. The backward movement of the bolt feeds new ammunition from the magazine into the barrel.

One of the main features of the TOZ-78 is the ability to customize the trigger travel to suit your needs. To do this, it is necessary to completely disassemble the trigger and tighten or loosen one of the screws holding the “petal”.

History of the development of the Toz-78 rifle

Toz-78 with optical and mechanical sights, as well as five magazines for 5 and 10 rounds

The history of the creation of the Toz 78 carbine is connected with the modernization of its predecessors - the Toz-17 and Toz-18 rifles. They became the basis for new weapons. Modernization itself is associated with the use of new technologies and modern designs.

The Toz-78 rifle was originally developed as a hunting rifle. The main emphasis during the design was on the reliability of the weapon - it had to work even in difficult weather conditions. To achieve this, the rifle has a sealed bolt and box, which prevents dirt from getting into the internal mechanisms.

The increased reliability of the rifle also affected the magazine. Previous samples could jam when reloading. To eliminate this problem, it was necessary to change the rearrangement of cartridges in the rifle's power supply. The operation of the weapon, its disassembly and cleaning has also been simplified.

The development of the Toz 78 carbine took place in 1986-87 at the Tula Arms Plant. To this day, the rifle remains one of the most popular and reliable hunting rifles. This is confirmed not only by comparative technical characteristics, but also by numerous reviews from hunters.

Product prices

The TOZ-78 rifle is a model that is quite affordable and can be found in almost all hunting stores. The weapon costs between 9200–9500 rubles. The modification with a mechanical sight is cheaper.

Both standard hunting and sporting cartridges and those with improved characteristics can be used for shooting:

  • cartridge Lapua STANDART – 9 r. per piece, sold in a package of 50 pieces;
  • cartridge Lapua RIFLE MATCH – 11 r. per piece;
  • Standard cartridge with brass sleeve – 13 rub. per piece;
  • cartridge FMJ SB S&B with improved ballistic characteristics – 27 rub.

Carbine TOZ 78-04 (m)

Characteristics of a hunting rifle

  • The barrel is made using the most modern technologies, so its strength and reliability have increased. It is heavier in weight than earlier models. It reaches 536 mm in length.
  • The valve is a typical sliding type, also called a bolt valve. It is connected to the mainspring and cocks it.
  • The mainspring is very stiff, but this does not mean that turning the bolt will be difficult. Cocking the spring and reloading is done with almost one finger without much effort.
  • The sighting device consists of a front sight and rear sight, and some modifications have an optical sight. The front sight can be adjusted vertically and horizontally, and the rear sight has four positions to adjust shooting at distances of 25, 50, 75 and 100 meters.
  • The weapon has a mechanical safety lock, which eliminates the possibility of accidental shots.
  • The stock of the carbine is made of wood like a pistol. As a rule, birch is used as a material, but beech or walnut is used for export. Some examples may have a butt with a cheekpiece.
  • The design has special cocking indicators that signal the carbine's combat readiness. When the trigger is cocked, the firing pin is located behind the end of the bolt, but otherwise it is flush with the end.
  • The shooting cartridges are placed in a magazine that can hold five or ten rounds. The magazine is a sector type and can be removed using a special latch.
  • The release stroke of the hook and the pressing force on it can be adjusted using two screws located in front of the trigger.
  • The entire length of the weapon reaches only 1000 mm.
  • The weight of the carbine reaches 2.5-2.7 kg, but can approach up to three kilograms, since there are different configurations for the number of cartridges in the magazine and the presence of an optical sight.

TOZ-78 stock and options for its modifications

The TOZ-78 pistol stock is made of high-quality birch. Before assembling the gun, the stock is coated with a thick layer of transparent varnish. The forend and neck of the stock have a notch. Although the wood itself is of high quality, assembling the stock is not for aesthetes. Questions often arise about inserting metal into wood, sometimes the barrel of a weapon is simply not hung, and this is not the biggest problem that can happen to a TOZ-78 barrel. Sometimes it can also be driven due to contact between the metal and the wood of the stock.

Some hunters complain that the stock is not very comfortable and modify it on their own. Refinement of the stock consists of the following operations:

  • You can make a special cutout for the thumb of the right hand;
  • To eliminate contact between the stock and the barrel, you should cut off excess wood from the stock, or install several washers at the junction of the receiver and the carbine stock;
  • You can sand the stock and soak it with linseed oil or natural drying oil (which is much better). After this procedure, the wood will show its pattern and will better resist moisture.

Design

TOZ-78 belongs to the category of bolt carbines, which means manual reloading and some loss in firing rate. However, for hunting small game this drawback, as a rule, does not matter.

But the longitudinally sliding bolt with a rigid mainspring is dismountable, which is important when cleaning and lubricating the weapon. The trigger mechanism is mounted on a separate base and is adjustable. There are adjusting screws in front of the trigger: the front one is responsible for the trigger force, and the rear one is responsible for the trigger stroke. Flag safety minimizes the possibility of accidental discharge

When transporting or carrying a rifle, the safety is set to the “safety” position.

Depending on the model, the carbines are equipped with sector or box magazines for 5 and 10 rounds. In the first, the cartridges are arranged in one row, which prevents the rearrangement of charges. In a box magazine, cartridges are placed parallel.

  • The sight can be either mechanical - a closed front sight with a drum-type rear sight, or optical - 2.5x on a bracket. The optical sight can be moved along the barrel, so you can shoot with the sights open without removing the optical sight.
  • The stock is pistol-type, usually made of birch. Export products may have a beech or walnut bed.

Disassembly

Partial disassembly is carried out for ordinary cleaning and lubrication of the weapon. Complete disassembly is required to repair the product or if it is heavily soiled.

Partial disassembly includes the following steps:

  • press the latch and remove the magazine;
  • pull the trigger, open the bolt and pull it out of the box.

The manipulations performed are sufficient for lubrication. If complete disassembly is required, then the following are added to the described actions:

  • if the carbine is equipped with an optical sight, then it is removed together with the bracket, having first turned the handle counterclockwise;
  • disassemble the shutter: holding the front part of the mechanism, turn the handle clockwise and the cap counterclockwise until it stops, and remove the cap;
  • take out the hammer along with the trigger and bushing, remove them;
  • disconnect the handle from the bolt and remove the compensator;
  • unscrew the screws at the bottom of the stock and separate it from the barrel with the box;
  • then the trigger mechanism is separated. If necessary, the magazine can also be disassembled.

The product is assembled in the reverse order.

Tuning of the TOZ-78 small-caliber rifle is discussed below.

  • What conclusions can be drawn?4
  • The barrel has undergone some changes in comparison with the earlier version, which were already mentioned above. Its length reaches 500-600 mm. The barrel is pressed into the receiver, but the presence of a recess on the front end protects the muzzle from damage.
  • The barrel is drilled for firing 5.6 mm caliber cartridges, which have rimfire, and the lead bullet weighs 2.6 g.
  • The bolt is a conventional bolt-action type and has a safety catch to enhance safety. It also contains the entire striking mechanism. The chamber is locked by turning the bolt handle.
  • The kit includes a five-round magazine that can be easily changed. This allows you to fire several shots in a row in a short period of time.

  • Reloading cartridges is carried out by moving the shutter by hand, so it will not be possible to fire it automatically.
  • Aiming is carried out using an optical sight or an open sight, which consists of a rear sight and a front sight.
  • The stock, as a rule, is made of wood and resembles in shape the one on the old version of the TOZ-78.
  • Weight reaches 3-3.25 kg.

Rules for storing hunting weapons

Taking into account the requirements of the law (Article 22 of the Federal Law “On Weapons”), citizens who have the appropriate permit can purchase and store hunting weapons.

It is not allowed to store weapons found or received from third parties in the absence of appropriate documents. This should be immediately transferred to the local department of internal affairs.

When storing, it is important to consider fire safety. The weapon must not be loaded, and the container used (safe, box) must be metal

It can be made of wood with iron upholstery. The container must be securely locked.

Separate requirements apply to the room where the rifle is stored. It must have additional locks, and there must be metal bars on the windows. If there is a whole room with collectible weapons, an alarm is installed in it.

Transporting and carrying weapons must also be carried out unloaded and with the trigger pulled. Cartridges should be stored out of reach, and if there are several types, appropriate sorting is required. The weapon is charged immediately before use.
