Description of the Umarex Smith and Wesson MP 45 air pistol (4.5 mm, plastic)

This air gun can be an excellent choice not only for beginners but also for advanced air gun enthusiasts.
The model was built by the German company Umarex. The Umarex Smith and Wesson MP 45 pistol is distinguished by good balance and ergonomics, and due to the correct geometry of the handle, the model fits perfectly in the hand. The convenience of this pneumatic is not surprising, because the model is a replica of the American Smith & Wesson Military & Police - S&W M&P, which is used by career military and police officers. The external similarities of the pistol will be relevant for those who love American weapons.

Of course, unlike the combat prototype, this model has significant differences in design. Thanks to the use of compressed air as an energy source, the gun belongs to gas-cylinder pneumatics.

A small, 12-gram cartridge is installed in the pistol grip. To install and remove it, you need to open a special cover, after which you will have full access to the special compartment.

The price of the Umarex Smith and Wesson MP 45 air pistol is fully justified by the quality of workmanship and functionality of the weapon.

Multi-charge model. The magazine is a special drum that can hold 8 rounds of ammunition. This drum is installed directly into the receiver by moving its part forward.

For shooting, a standard 4.5 mm lead pneumatic bullet is used. The pistol barrel is rifled. The speed of the fired projectile reaches 112 m/s. Firing mode: semi-automatic.

High-strength, high-quality plastic is used to produce the case. Of course, important components of the model, including the clip-drum, are made of metal, which extends the overall service life of the product.

The weight of this modification is 612 grams.

The overall length of the Umarex Smith and Wesson MP 45 pistol is 203 mm. The manufacturer provides a two-position, flag fuse. Like its combat prototype, the open rear sight and front sight act as sighting devices.

Since this model is equipped with a Weaver underbarrel rail, you can install a tactical flashlight or laser laser.

If you decide to buy a Umarex Smith and Wesson MP 45 air pistol, you can use the services of our online store, and if necessary, we will deliver it throughout Russia.

14-round bullpup. Shotgun S&W MP 12

The new gun is called M&P 12 and is intended for self-defense. As in the Smith & Wesson pistol line, the letters MP in the gun's name stand for Military & Police (military and police).

The Smith & Wesson MP 12 is a 12-gauge smoothbore shotgun with a movable fore-end and a dual under-barrel mechanism.

Smith & Wesson does not have significant success in the development of smoothbore shotguns, but it has the unsuccessful experience of releasing the S&W Model 916 “pump” to the American market half a century ago and the modern practice of selling Turkish shotguns under its own brand.

Smith & Wesson MP 12 is aimed at an audience that prefers the most “tactical” weapons

Smith & Wesson received several patents for the M&P 12. The gun is equipped with two independent under-barrel tubular magazines. Each magazine holds up to 7 rounds of 70 mm length or up to 6 rounds of 76 mm length.

Smith & Wesson MP 12 magazines hold 12 rounds in a 76mm case, 14 rounds in a 70mm case, and even more in a 45mm mimi shell.

Selecting which magazine to use is accomplished via a simple push-button switch, giving the shooter a visual clue as to which magazine is feeding the weapon. The barrel of the gun is made of 4140 chrome-molybdenum steel and has a matte black oxidation finish. The receiver is steel, and the stock is synthetic and fixed.

The Smith & Wesson MP 12 does not come with sights out of the box.

The Smith & Wesson MP 12 features fully ambidextrous controls, a tactile chamber indicator, a larger trigger guard, a signature M&P pistol grip, a picatinny top rail, M-LOK slots on the barrel shroud, and a familiar AR-style safety. There are no standard sights on the gun.

A direct competitor to the Smith & Wesson MP 12 is the Kel-Tec KSG bullpup shotgun, which costs $990

The gun is supplied in a plastic case complete with choke tubes (Remington standard) and a key for them, four replaceable pistol grip inserts, and a cable lock. Weight and dimensions characteristics of the M&P 12: total length - 706 mm, barrel length - 483 mm, length from the trigger to the back of the butt - 368 mm, width - 94 mm, height - 221 mm, weight - 3.76 kg.

The Standard Manufacturing DP-12 double-barreled pump-action shotgun can be purchased for $1,400

The Smith & Wesson MP 12 has a suggested retail price of $1,165. At the same time, a direct competitor, the Kel-Tec KSG bullpup shotgun, which has been on the market for ten years, costs $990, and the Standard Manufacturing DP-12 double-barreled “pump” sells for $1,400.
