Shotgun Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon I Sporting MY19 12/76 71 OCHP AS

Every hunter, sooner or later, asks the question: which hunting rifle to choose? Which gun is the most reliable? What is better horizontal or vertical? Imported or domestic? And many other questions. Of course, it is impossible to consider all the questions within the framework of one article, but it is possible to figure out which Italian-made double-barreled hunting shotgun to buy: Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon1 or Benelli 828U Black. These two guns are approximately in the same price category, so it is quite fair to compare their characteristics.

NOT EVERYTHING IS SIMPLE

One day my acquaintance Alexander called me and offered to go with him to Belgorod to buy a gun as a consultant.
I immediately agreed with joy. As it turned out, Alexander took on another consultant, Evgeniy’s nephew, who knew where the hunting store we needed was located. Alexander wanted to buy an imported double-barreled shotgun, but I advised him the MTs-106, but he did not want to wait 3 months for the order to be completed. I had to settle on less scarce ones - imported ones. He was leaning towards the Beretta 686, but the gun inspection had the final say, which for me was the most interesting part of the trip.

Having discovered only single-trigger guns, I, as a supporter of two triggers, immediately asked:

– Isn’t there two descents?

“Now in the world they are universally refusing to use two descents,” the seller said, clearly knowing little about the question, somewhat contemptuously. “The movement of a finger from the front to the rear trigger is a parasitic backward movement,” my opponent, proud of such an aphorism, revealed by his glance. I remember the aphorism, of course.

In response, I began to cite the specific advantages of two descents when hunting on a deadlift.

Well, no, no, we’ll choose from what we have. I wouldn’t even choose among single triggers. Having five years of hunting experience with the excellent MTs-108 shotgun, which, in my subjective opinion, no serial imported shotgun can compare with, I still came to the well-known conclusion: nothing better than two triggers for a hunting double-barreled shotgun has yet been invented.

The first one in my hands was Browning, in my opinion, B 525, but in any case similar to it. Immediately, even before jumping up, I felt what I read about: Browning’s balance is shifted to the barrels, of course, not to the same extent as my custom IZH-43, but being accustomed to the balance at the MTs-108 hinge, I feel such shifts straightaway. After the jump everything turned out to be quite good, the Browning turned out to be quite useful to me.

“It fits well, but the balance is shifted forward,” I express my conclusion. Alexandru, according to him, Browning also turned out to be useful.

The seller decided to measure how accurate my sense of balance was. The measurements confirmed my feelings.

Then it was the turn of the Beretta 686. After the rear sight, the front sight turned out to be confidently shifted to the right of the center of the sighting bar; when the rear position was repeated, everything was the same.

Article on the topic: Ford Focus 2 owner reviews 2006

“The front sight is looking to the right, the lead is large,” I conclude.

Alexander and the seller admit that the gun is not useful to them either. For whom is the stock made in Beretta, if for three people of different constitutions the gun turned out to be completely unusable?

The next one was Antonio Zoli, model Z. I liked the gun’s grip, and so did Alexander, but we decide not to rush yet and look at other options.

We were offered the Blaser F 3, but I rejected it in theory, because... the gun is still a sports gun, heavy, etc. Nevertheless, it ended up in my hands. After raising, the front sight looked noticeably higher, revealing the surface of the aiming bar; moreover, the obvious asceticism and lower quality of wood processing in comparison with the Zoli were clearly not in favor of the German.

“I wouldn’t buy such a gun for hunting,” I expressed my subjective opinion, which no one disputed. Fabarm and Franchi did not leave any lasting impressions in my mind, so I won’t dwell on them in more detail.

As a result, the choice was narrowed down to Antonio Zoli and Browning. Both guns turned out to be useful for both me and Alexander. But the Browning was still clearly a sporty option, without swivels. In addition, Evgeniy pointed out to me a drawing on the side of the block, which depicted partridges turning into saucers, as a unification of the purposes of a sporting and hunting rifle; We were choosing a gun for hunting, and experience with the MTs-108 suggested that a compromise gun was not the best option.

Then I decided to compare the quality of woodwork; in this regard, Antonio Zoli and Browning were superior to other guns, they had the finest checkering and the highest quality processing of the outer surface of the wood. I examined the wood of the Beretta 686, the workmanship of which was clearly of lower quality than that of Zoli and Browning, the checkering was machine-like and formulaic, the treatment of the external surface irritated the eye with a dull dullness, in contrast to the glossy shine of the unvarnished Zoli stock. To justify the Beretta, I must note that it cost 10 thousand rubles less. Zoli beat Browning in the quality of finish and wood grain: Zoli had a patterned walnut, while Browning had a more practical straight-grain walnut.

The Belgian had two front sights, the rear one acts as a rear sight for more accurate aiming. I think these bells and whistles only interfere with shooting at a moving target, however, the seller said that the second front sight is removable.

Article on the topic: Chainsaw Calm 230 owner reviews

The Italian's stock turned out to be clearly more hunting with a flat pistol grip, while the Belgian's stock was more sporty, with a cool pistol.

I decide to check the descents. I couldn’t pull the trigger on the Zoli offhand; the trigger force turned out to be higher than on the usual MTs-108, but that’s normal; on hunting rifles the triggers can be tighter, it’s just a matter of habit. When tested without a jump, the descent seemed normal, without noticeable free play. Having forgotten that on imported single-trigger triggers the triggers are mostly inertial, I try to pull the trigger of the upper barrel without any manipulations with the gun, which, of course, turns out to be impossible. The seller quickly explained my mistake. Although with our hunts and modern cartridges this circumstance is not so important. On the Browning, like on a sporting shotgun, I felt less effort when triggering.

Evgeniy and I spoke for Antonio Zoli, and the choice was made.

I will describe in more detail my impressions of the gun. It suited me well, according to Alexander, and it suited him too. Still, the butt seemed a little long to me, accustomed to short ones. I really liked the woodwork and the wood itself, unfortunately, TsKIB, in my opinion, doesn’t put such a nut on its more classy and high-quality guns, but it’s a pity, they deserve it more than the serial Italians. If he does, I’ll be glad to read the refutation. The butt plate, clearly in imitation of high-class guns, was made of wood, but for some reason it was made of a darker walnut, if we were to imitate it, then to the end, and put wood on the butt plate from the same piece as the butt. The fit of wood to metal in all the guns examined was of approximately the same quality - not ideal, my MTs-108 is of better quality, but this is a very picky eye. But what clearly caught my eye were the flaws in fitting the narrow base of the quick-release trigger to the block body; perhaps it is more difficult to fit these parts with quick-release triggers. The trigger itself is the same as that of the Kronos sports model; it is removed after unscrewing the bolt on the safety bracket behind the trigger.

On the side surfaces of the light box there is gold inlay in the form of a pattern of a flying woodcock. The connecting strips are ventilated, which is unnecessary on a clearly hunting rifle, but is explained by the fashion that came from sporting rifles. As a result of this fashion, the gun also has 760 mm barrels and a balance slightly shifted forward. But the front sight is quite suitable for hunting - an ordinary small one, which is the most optimal for me. The bar is also hunting - narrow, without narrowing. Weight 3.1 kg. The barrels broke very tightly, to which the seller remarked: “What do you want, the gun is new.”

Article on the topic: Reviews from owners of the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Well, yes, it's logical. They also closed tightly. The key for invectors is convenient - cylindrical, not flat. When examining the inner surface of the barrels, it turned out that it was not ideal, a slight ovality was noticeable, but this is not an indicator, the indicator can only be checking the combat, but there was no shooting range at the store. The transition cones from the chambers to the bores of the barrels are noticeably longer than usual; I read that this is done for steel shot in order to reduce dynamic impact.

I had to fire several shots from the Zoli, the recoil, as it should be, turned out to be more sensitive than from the heavy MTs-108, the combat indicators were normal, but I had no desire to study them in detail, considering it extremely unlikely that modern expensive guns would have low quality scree.

I checked the possibility of quickly switching the selector and confirmed in practice my theoretical knowledge - switching it quickly, at the level of a reflex, with the same speed as choosing the desired trigger turned out to be completely impossible for me for two reasons: firstly, it is psychologically difficult to do, i.e. To. the left-right movement is unnatural, but in principle you can get used to this movement. But the second reason is much more difficult for me to overcome - the selector itself switches too hard, perhaps this is a defect in a particular gun. It is noticeably tighter than the safety, in order to move it, you need to tear your right palm off the neck of the butt, in order to move the switch with the force of your whole hand through your thumb; the force of the thumb without lifting your palm from the neck of the butt is completely insufficient. As a result, quickly moving the selector turned out to be unrealistic for me. Perhaps it is so tight because the gun is new and over time the force will decrease, but during this time how many successful moments can you miss while hunting. Much better, in my opinion, is a gun with two triggers, because they provide practical advantages in hunting, and the advantages of a single trigger are theoretical, but the problems it creates are quite practical.

In conclusion, I can say that everything is really very complicated in the world of weapons.

Many views in life have to be revised over time, including views on weapons. I also reconsidered my attitude towards my IZH-43. At a cost of 1,400 rubles, paid for it in 1998, it turned out to be of very good quality, and most importantly, it was well-stocked, with smooth barrels without noticeable flaws, a good notch on the butt handle, and a high-quality outer coating of the barrels. For comparison: on a Turkish semi-automatic for 20 thousand rubles, it began to noticeably wear out after a year of hunting, moreover, it can be easily removed with a fingernail, this phenomenon was noticed by the not very happy owner and demonstrated to me.

Italian classic semi-automatic shotguns of the Beretta 686 brand have increasingly begun to appear on the shelves of gun stores. Italian models belong to the middle class of weapons and above. Compared to similar Turkish-made products, they are more expensive, and they look much more impressive in appearance. Among hunters and shotgunners, such an elegant, well-balanced and very easy-to-handle double-barreled shotgun as the Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon 1 is very popular.

Who is the oldest, internationally recognized arms company, which began its activities in 1526.
Beretta is the most popular among other Italian arms companies: its products are purchased by the army, police and civilians. What it produces is associated by many with a pistol produced by this Italian company. Those who are involved in hunting, clay pigeon shooting or are interested in the history of classic guns know that the company specializes not only in the production of pistols. This company has accumulated extensive experience in the manufacture of hunting rifles. Its craftsmen produced both muzzle-loading hammer-operated ones and self-loading ones containing a gas-operated reloading mechanism. The first hunting rifles intended for mass consumption appeared on the shelves more than two hundred years ago. This Italian company managed to take a worthy place in the global arms market thanks to “verticals” - guns with vertically paired barrels. Even before the beginning of the twentieth century, the manufacturer produced over one and a half million such products. Since that time, the technology of vertical pairing of barrels and the use of blocks has been intensively improved. Today, one of the affordable and easy-to-use classic over/unders is the Beretta 686. The photo in the article demonstrates the design features of these hunting rifles.

Basic model of "verticals"

"Beretta 686" became the basis for the creation of hunting and shotguns equipped with vertically paired barrels. Today, the following modifications are available to consumers on the shelves of gun stores:

  • Beretta 686E Sporting 76 MC.
  • Beretta Gold Pigeon.
  • Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon.
  • Diamond Pigeon.

"Beretta 686 Silver Dude": what is the model?
Such a modification of the “over-and-under” as the “Beretta 686” is a skillfully made double-barreled hunting shotgun that can be purchased at an affordable price. Compared to its analogues, this model is rightfully considered the most elegant. "Beretta 686 Silver Dude" is distinguished by its elegant design and impeccable technical characteristics.

The design of this break gun provides for a vertical arrangement of two barrels. The model is intended for hunting small or medium game. “Dude” can also be used for training or sports shooting.

Description

Craftsmen use walnut to make stocks and fore-ends. Exclusive models can be made from such a valuable type of wood as butt. Mostly the butts of side flints are walnut. In order to prevent moisture from penetrating into the wood, this material is subject to oil impregnation. The Beretta 686 shotgun has special shock absorbers for the buttstocks, ensuring comfortable operation. Their job is to absorb recoil during shooting.

The designs of the stocks in hunting rifles of various modifications of the Beretta 686 group do not differ from each other. All of them are designed for a person of average height. High-end shotguns are characterized by hand-made stock and stock.

The Italian manufacturer does not provide a ball front sight for this model of hunting rifle. Instead, the weapon is equipped with a removable colored front sight, which has an elongated cylindrical shape. It is installed along the axis of the barrel. It is very convenient to use, especially in low light conditions. For the manufacture of the receiver, high-quality steel is used, onto which artistic engraving is applied using a laser.

Features of the manufacture of side-flint barrels

Steel rods are used in the production of barrels. They are first drilled and then undergo technological processes such as bluing and cold forging. The barrel is made on a rotary machine. During one-stage forging, muzzle profiles are formed in the barrel channels, containing narrowings that give the barrel walls high strength. The ability to shoot steel shot, anti-corrosion qualities and high wear resistance of vertical gun barrels are achieved through the use of a complex and expensive chrome plating procedure. Chrome plating on barrels was previously considered a feature characteristic of Soviet-made hunting rifles. Over time, it was mastered in the West.

Features of Mobil-Choke Interchangeable Choke Devices

In order to give the barrels a certain configuration that allows the use of steel shot, the designers of the Italian company have developed special muzzle devices. They are removable tubes screwed into the barrel.

They can be distinguished from each other by the length and profile of the choke constrictions. The size is indicated using special symbols - stars. For a full choke there is one star, ¾ is indicated by two stars, half - by three, ¼ - by four. Depending on the type of hunting, the barrels are equipped with one or another Mobil-Choke tubes. The installation and dismantling process is carried out using special keys.

Performance characteristics

  • The Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon weapon uses 12/76 mm ammunition.
  • Smoothbore weapon of breaking type.
  • The length of the weapon is 1160 mm.
  • Barrel length 760 mm. On gun counters you can also find “bockflints” equipped with 710-mm barrels.
  • The stock and fore-end are wooden, oil-impregnated.
  • The weight of the “vertical” does not exceed 3 kg.
  • Number of trunks – 2 pieces.
  • Ammunition - two cartridges (one for each barrel).
  • Magazine ammunition is not provided.
  • The double-barreled shotgun is equipped with a sighting bar containing a front sight.
  • “Bokflint” is equipped with five replaceable nozzles, a soft rubber shock absorber and a steel receiver with artistic laser engraving.
  • The company is Beretta.
  • Country of origin: Italy.

The gun comes complete with a case, replacement mobile chokes and keys for caring for the product.

Device

The barrel locking system is equipped with a special lock with two conical rods. Their location is the block shield. When the barrels are closed, these rods are displaced until they fit into the grooves located on the sides of the breech of the barrel. Due to this design, in this Italian model the presence of hooks and an axle has become optional.

The barrel block with coupling elements fits into special grooves with which the upper part of the block wall is equipped. Unauthorized opening of the receiver can be prevented thanks to the screw with which the gun is equipped. This screw is specially made of soft material and serves as a seal.

Initially, the weapon does not have a barrel swivel. To install it, owners have to drill the inter-barrel strip with screws themselves. To avoid this, some hunters recommend purchasing a swivel, the design of which provides for encircling fixation.

Strengths of "Dude"

This model of Italian classic gun has the following advantages:

  • Versatility. Due to the set of mobile chokes, the “vertical” can be used both during hunting and during sport shooting.
  • High accuracy of combat.
  • Wear resistance. The operational life is at least 50 thousand shots.
  • "Omnivorousness." You can equip a double-barreled shotgun with various ammunition.
  • Ideally adjusted trigger mechanism. During a shot, due to the smooth operation of the trigger mechanism, the tossing of the barrels is minimal. This quality is appreciated by hunters and athletes, since they have the opportunity to quickly return to the aiming line.
  • Practicality. The double-barreled shotgun can be used for shooting at various distances.
  • Ease of maintenance. In these hunting rifles, the blocks of trigger mechanisms are removed along with the body, which greatly facilitates repair and cleaning.

Disadvantages of the model
This Italian “sideflint” also has shortcomings. These include a slight imbalance between the mass of the receiver and the butt. According to reviews from owners, the handle with additional pads installed on it weighs much more than the barrels.

The high cost of the gun, according to some consumers, can also be considered a disadvantage of this “vertical”.

Beretta 686. Reviews

Owners of Silver Pigeon 1 give this “sideflint” a mostly positive description. Modern “side flints”, in their opinion, due to the modernized locking system, are smaller in size and look more elegant compared to earlier models. In addition, the “vertical” has insignificant weight, which has a positive effect on its maneuverability. The hunting rifle has a high-quality assembly. However, as many consumers note, there are noticeable gaps in the gun: between the block and the trigger mechanism and between the bolt lever and the surface of the block. In addition, its metal parts protrude slightly above the barrel side couplings. Upon closer inspection, you will notice that the color and texture of the forearm and butts of these hunting rifles are somewhat different. But still, this model has a strict design, good quality finishing of metal elements and beautiful laser engraving.

Buyers of the Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon 1 double-barreled shotgun are hunters in central Russia.

Italian sports "buckflint"

Another very popular gun model from the Italian manufacturer is presented to the attention of fans of training and sports shooting on gun counters. The Beretta 686 Sporting is considered a very high-quality smoothbore weapon, equipped with vertically paired barrels.

For this modification, 12-gauge ammunition is provided. The length of the barrels can vary from 71 to 75 cm. The Beretta 686E Sporting weighs up to 3 kilograms. The gun is equipped with a wooden butt made of walnut.

The products of the Italian arms company Beretta are very popular today all over the world. Highly aesthetic design, decent build quality and a wide variety of “side-flying” models will not leave true connoisseurs of hunting weapons indifferent.

I finally decided to write about this gun, I’ve owned it for only 3 months, but I’ve already fired about 2000 shots (all on the stand), that’s why I’m writing, besides, the day before yesterday at a competition, with this gun I met the first class standard in the trench, which for my four months of experience in this exercise (and on the stand in general) is not bad at all. Basic technical data (based on the classification of the encyclopedia 'Hunting rifles' by A.E. Hartinka): Caliber: 12; Chamber length: 76 mm; Number and arrangement of barrels: double-barreled shotgun with vertical barrels; System: gun with folding barrels; Locking mechanism: conical locking hooks (Beretta patent); Trigger: with one trigger; Weight: 3.4 kg; Barrel block length: 76 cm; Length: 120 cm; Case extraction mechanism: ejector mechanism; Chokes: interchangeable chokes 'Mobilchok'; Sights: ventilated rib and front sight; Safety mechanism: sliding safety latch on the neck of the stock. Characteristics: Material: steel; Finish: Barrels and box with matte black finish; Stock: Walnut with X-tra Wood finish and pistol neck.

A little about the manufacturer (Magazine 'Hunting', No. 4, 2004, article 'Double-barreled shotguns from the Beretta company, author E. Kopeiko): '. Beretta is one of the oldest arms manufacturers in the world. It has existed since 1526. Now the company represents itself as a large holding with branches in different countries, which also includes other well-known manufacturers of hunting weapons, for example 'Sako' from Finland. The Beretta company has extensive experience in producing hunting weapons; the first mass-produced guns with its mark appeared almost 200 years ago. Since then, its craftsmen have made guns of almost all known designs - from muzzle-loading hammer guns to self-loading guns with a gas-operated reloading mechanism. But the most famous and numerous were the guns with vertically paired barrels, and it was with them that the company firmly established itself in the world market. Since the development of vertical gun technology with a successful barrel block and block design back in the first half of the twentieth century, the company has produced about one and a half million of these guns. ' About trunks (from the same article): '. Modern barrels have greater strength and survivability compared to old ones, not only due to the use of modern grades of steel with additions of nickel, chromium and molybdenum, but also to a large extent due to cold forging technology. Pre-drilled blank rods are forged on special mandrels on rotary machines, the hammers of which develop colossal multi-ton forces. As a result of one operation, not only the final internal profile of the barrel and choke constrictions are created, but also the walls of the barrel are strengthened. . The inner surface of the barrel is protected with chrome plating. 'Locking (from the same article): '. The connection of a block of vertically paired barrels with a block, developed by the company, made it possible to produce a block of small height compared to other well-known models of vertical guns, for example, from Browning. There are no lower under-barrel hooks on the breech block; their role on the verticals is played by side cutouts made on the breech block at the level of the lower barrel. The axes of rotation of the barrel block when opening and closing are small protrusions-half-axes on the side walls of the block, on which the side cutouts of the block rest. As a result, the barrel block is placed directly on the bottom of the block, and the height of the gun has been significantly reduced. This design has many advantages: less weight of the block and gun, smaller dimensions, the gun turned out to be comfortable and elegant. ' 686 is the basic model of the Beretta over/under; in addition to Onyx, there are also modifications, Silver Pigeon, Gold Pigeon and Diamond Pigeon. This is where the 'library' ends and the 'owner's eyes' go. The gun was bought as a sporting and hunting one, first of all the trap, then everything else, I also shoot on the circle, I just wind the cylinders, the barrels are of course long for this exercise, but what can you do? The weight is not too light for a stand and not too heavy for hunting. Contents: plastic case, attachments - 5 pcs. from 0.0 to 1.0 mm in 0.25 mm increments, a key for them, bottles of Beretta neutral oil, swivels (not installed), a second butt plate of a slightly different shape. Price: 57800 rub. Interesting fact: in the chamber area there is the inscription 'Beretta US Corp.', and the instructions say that it is for sale in the USA only. Wood covering in dark colors (laminate), black last with the inscription 'P. Beretta'. The engraving is very laconic, which gives a certain style to the gun. Let's say the balance is good, the pistol grip is not steep, I would not recommend it for people with large hands, because... The right little finger slips off the handle. The sighting bar is narrow, the front sight is ordinary - I installed a long 'light-gathering' front sight of red color, the selector for switching the barrel order is on the safety. Replacement chokes can also be installed on Benelli shotguns. It should be noted that compared, for example, with Izhami or even Fabarm, the forend of the gun is not wide, which is very convenient for me personally; again, my hands are not large. I didn’t really check the bullet fight, because... the gun was not bought for this, but the Polevoy-2 at 80 m standing hand-held with both barrels fired four bullets within 20 centimeters, checked the sharpness and scree - everything is in order, I won’t describe it in detail - for me the main criterion is that the plates are hitting, and into dust if you do everything correctly, in addition, I took targets several times, already at the maximum distance. The ejector cannot be switched off, the fuse is not automatic. After purchasing this gun, the results on the stand immediately went up, I don’t know whether it’s subjective or objective, but the fact is, the first thing I felt was a huge difference in balance compared to the previous gun; after five series I don’t feel any fatigue in my left hand. There was only one “jamb”, we have a very humid climate in the summer, almost always 100%, the bracket that closes the descent began to rust, cured it with WD-40. Among the disadvantages, I would probably include the lack of an adjustable cheekpiece (although the disadvantage is relative, since the gun is positioned more as a hunting gun, rather than a clay gun) and the inability to fire a second shot in case of a misfire. Overall, I’m very pleased, as long as I have something to add, I’ll write.

Benelli 828U Black

This Italian smoothbore shotgun from the famous weapons manufacturer appeared around 2009, and almost immediately gained great popularity. It has an original appearance, such as a matte black surface of the receiver, which looks somewhat unusual and more attractive. The barrels themselves are not made as a solid block, but are pressed into a coupling, that is, the barrels themselves are separate, which makes the Benelli 828U Black sideflint recognizable and original.

The ventilated sighting rib is made of durable carbon fiber, which significantly reduces the overall weight of the gun itself. The barrels themselves are made of high-strength alloy, with the addition of chromium and molybdenum, which makes them more resistant to high temperatures and loads. The barrel locking mechanism and the trigger mechanism have innovative solutions, such as longitudinal pins that lock the barrels and increase the overall reliability of the entire mechanism. The stock and integral fore-end are made exclusively from expensive types of wood, necessarily impregnated with a special compound and polished by hand.

The manufacturer does not indulge in a large number of modifications, so the Benelli 828U Black sideflint is produced in 12 gauge, with a barrel length of 750 mm. The chamber is designed for the use of reinforced cartridges, that is, its length is 76 mm.

Benelli 828U Black is equipped with an ejector mechanism, which significantly reduces recharge time

Advantages of the Benelli 828U Black hunting shotgun

One of the main advantages of this hunting bowflint is its reliability and impeccable workmanship: all parts are carefully adjusted to each other. In addition, the Benelli 828U Black has its own, easily recognizable appearance, which certainly sets it apart from other double-barreled hunting rifles.

The accuracy and accuracy of the shot are also an advantage of this gun: a target with a diameter of 50 cm is confidently and accurately hit from a distance of at least 55-60 meters. In addition, thanks to the innovative butt pad-shock absorber, the recoil from the shot is noticeably dampened, which makes shooting from this gun quite comfortable. This sideflint weighs about 3.2 kg, which is quite a good indicator and with it it is quite possible to make long treks while hunting without experiencing discomfort. This Italian hunting rifle has only one drawback: its very high cost, since this rifle belongs to the premium segment.

General conclusion

When comparing the technical parameters of the hunting shotguns Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon1 or Benelli 828U Black, it is quite difficult to make a choice, since these are very high-quality and reliable premium shotguns. Therefore, which of these two guns to choose depends on individual preference.

What do you think is better: Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon1 or Benelli 828U Black?

What Sanchas doesn’t really like is that the box is made of lightweight alloy. In any case, this is what is written in many links.

I didn’t write that one descent is bad, as for me, one is better than two! It’s just that Yuri B wrote that she has two descents, but today I saw ONE! Barrel selector - I didn't really like the design - a separate slider button built into the safety button. Maybe it’s convenient, but I liked Browning’s better - one button: up-down - safety, left-right - selector.

And I didn’t write that Beretta is bad. A very decent gun! If it was bad, I wouldn’t ask for advice in the next thread - what to take: Browning or Beretta!
