VOERE PRAZISIONSTECHNIK GMBH is one of the most famous European manufacturers of precision components, starting its history in 1948 with the production of bicycle pumps, then air pistols in 1950 and small-bore rifles in 1955.
The Voere 2155 is a modified version based on the Mauser K98 receiver.
Review of the Voere 2155 carbine
The Voere 2155 carbine is a typical Mauser rifle. The receiver is made of steel, and the barrel is of the FIN type used in Spanish and Belgian military rifles. This, in fact, is the main reason that these famous Mauser rifles are available at such an affordable price.
The production of Mauser rifles is very complex, requiring 711 mechanical operations and 1,700 separate procedures. The cost of the Mauser rifle is too high to be used in the production of budget rifles. Using old prefabricated machinery also naturally reduces the price.
Here you can find a review of the VOERE 2155 carbine.
Advantages and disadvantages
The labor-intensive production of the Mauser is rewarded by the weapon's outstanding accuracy and reliability. Thanks to this mechanism, the Voere 2155 rifle offers many advantages while remaining in a moderate price range.
- A three-round bolt mounted vertically reduces horizontal dispersion.
- Controlled Cartridge Feed: Prevents cartridges from being fed prematurely into the ejection line by retracting the cartridge case. The Voere 2155 carbine can be reloaded upside down.
- The claw-shaped extractor provides control over the feeding of cartridges and ejection of cartridges after firing. If a cartridge case is jammed in the chamber, it can be removed by tilting the front part of the ejector with a screwdriver and pushing the jammed case down using a yoke. In many other rifles, such an “accident” ends with the ejector breaking.
- Reliability - the barrel is made of solid steel parts, the barrel is held together with the bolt using a screwdriver and a hole for ejecting cartridges.
- The bolt is an integral part and has a hole for the removal of powder gases.
- The gun is equipped with a shield that protects the shooter's eyes from unburned gunpowder when it is ejected.
- offers a wide range of accessories such as barrels, magazines and stocks.
Finishing Vepr 308
Overall, the weapon is of good quality and is superior to most models, but some aspects still need to be improved.
The first thing you can do is to carefully secure the stock to the body, since its factory fastening is weak. The problem is solved by drilling a hole through which a screw with a cone washer is inserted. Thus, the attachment of the butt to the receiver is strengthened.
Accuracy may be reduced because the trigger mechanism is not well machined. To correct the situation, you can take thin sandpaper and clean the areas in the area of the trigger hook and trigger.
Specifications
The difference between the improvements is negligible.

Voere shotguns: history and models
Voere's activities began in 1948 in post-war West Germany. The production of bicycle pumps was immediately launched. Two years later, the technology for the production of air pistols was mastered, and three years later the industrial production of small-caliber rifles began. 13 years after its formation, the Voere company changed its location. She settled in a city that was considered a center for weapons production, namely Kufstein, Austria. In 1972, the company received a license to produce the legendary rapid-fire rifle, common among police in the United States. The American 180 carried a laser sight - an amazing innovation for Europe at that time. The serial production of this rifle allowed Voere to gain weight in the firearms market.
1991 is recorded in the world history of weapons as the year of inventions. These include rifles that use cartridges without casings and the possibility of electric ignition of the powder charge. In addition, a rifle was invented whose barrels could be changed.
Voere Prezision Technik has always used innovation and the full power of high technology in its development. But the company's experience, which spans more than 60 years, shows good results in the use of rifles that have long earned respect. An example is the Mauser K98, which was taken as the basis for the development of two new types of rifle weapons - Voere 2155 and 2165.
The Voere 2155 rifle has a design that is fully consistent with the Mauser K98, which uses Santa Barbara-type receivers and FN-type steel receivers (made in Belgium). The first type of receiver was produced specifically for the Spanish army. Both the first and second types of boxes differ little from each other, although Belgian-made rifles are supplied to the Russian market. The Mauser receiver is notoriously labor intensive and expensive, far exceeding the cost of budget-level rifle systems such as Remington. The arsenals of European weapons are not endless, but at the moment you can still purchase a high-quality and inexpensive product.
The second brand of rifle, Voer 2165, is a more convenient and safer version of the 2155 rifle. All metal parts of the Voer 2165 have an improved coating and a luxury stock. The standard three-position manual cocking safety has been replaced by a design at the rear of the rifle's action that allows the striker to be cocked with the simple press of a button.
Voere Prezision Technik GMBH has bypassed alternative K98 manufacturers by offering to update the existing Voere 2155 and 2165 with such additional parts as:
- descenders in six versions, the advantage of which is ease of replacement;
- a set that allows you to manually cock the striker;
- kits, which consist of regular stores and their clip options. This allows the regular Mauser magazine, in which the cartridges are arranged in a staggered pattern, to be replaced by a removable magazine, in which 3 to 5 cartridges are arranged in a straight line;
- factory sets of bases, branded brackets, the same for Piccatini rails, as well as for scope rail mounts, which are produced in Europe;
- stocks made of plastic and walnut, both right-handed and left-handed.
This kind of constructor will allow you to create a unique author’s variation on the Mauser K98 theme. Thus, if you plan to purchase rifles, then the Voere 2155 and 2165 brands should definitely be considered.
One of the offerings from Voere Prezision Technik GMBH is the LBW 20-03 rifle, equipped with a Remington-type bolt locking system. The model of this weapon can have a standard version or a luxury version. Different-caliber trunks can be either singular or plural. Triggers can also be either high-tech or standard assembled. There is also an option for easy disassembly of the rifle. The LBW's design is based on a light alloy receiver that has been precision machined. Easily replaceable barrels are attached to this box in the form of a large hexagon. The bolt-type shutter moves in the box guides smoothly and clearly. A bolt of this type does not vibrate when fired, and also has a replaceable head, the size of which depends on the cartridge case of the selected cartridge. The sleeve locks the bolt when turned by 600C, which is very convenient when quickly loading a weapon, using three lugs. The latter are in the same plane, which is perpendicular to the axis of the stem canal. A precision-made rifle is the key to a successful shot. The particular ease of disassembling Voere brand rifles is due to the fact that they are divided into two components: a stock and a receiver, which can be equipped with a barrel or trigger. For a large number of alternative weapon manufacturers, the barrel is simply removed, and this inevitably entails re-shooting the weapon.
To disassemble the Voere rifle, you just need to pull a specially designed lever into the forend, which has an external resemblance to a similar device that is equipped with a large number of breaking smoothbore shotguns. LBW and magnum cartridge calibers range from 22LR to .375H&H. The final choice of a rifle weapon will be dictated to the owner by a list of possible bolts and heads for them, barrels, magazines, sights and mounts for them. You can also lighten the weight of the rifle to the maximum by equipping it with carbon fiber barrels and stocks.
The highlight of the Voere lineup is the Tirolerin 20-06. An innovative invention by engineers from Austria. The Tirolerin 20-06 bolt-action carbine is made of high quality weapon steel without the use of light alloys, and has a replaceable magazine chambered for .308Win or 30-06 cartridges. The barrel length is 55 cm. The total weight of the weapon is 2.8 kg. The population of Austria created excellent, accurate, powerful and light weapons. Tirolerin provides for the use of interchangeable barrels, while being an easily disassembled and high-quality rifle. The choice of cartridges is slightly less than with LBW.
The leader position in the Voere series is occupied by Voere 20-02 “XXL” “BigFive” for African hunting. This model has the most reliable design and quality of the carbine. Provides for the use of .416Rigby and higher cartridges. This weapon, unlike its competitors, has reliability, safety of use, a comfortable level of shooting - and all this for a fairly reasonable price. It should be noted that the entire Voere model range has a competent stock design, which ensures good balance of the weapon and impeccable controllability and shooting comfort.
Voere products have found their fans in Russia. The price and quality of Voere ensure that true connoisseurs own weapons from this manufacturer.
