Design
The limited-kill firearm Groza-04 was developed on the basis of the Ukrainian Fort-17 traumatic pistol. Literally everything has been copied - from the design of the pistol to the materials from which it is made. The pistol has a polyamide frame, which houses metal guides for the bolt housing. All parts except the frame are made of high quality steel. The automatic operation of the pistol operates due to recoil energy when the bolt is blown open. The barrel is rigidly fixed on metal rails without the possibility of dismantling it, the trigger mechanism is double-action with an open trigger. The safety cocking is activated using the control flag located on the left side of the bolt casing.
The dimensions of the flag and its location are made taking into account the anatomical capabilities of the human hand with one goal - comfortable control of a cocked pistol with one hand.
The magazine is double-row, designed for 15 rounds in a staggered arrangement. The sights are metal and consist of a horizontally adjustable rear sight and front sight.
The new EVO barrel features an improved design - instead of the outdated “toothy” internal surface of the barrel, it has an off-axis bore drilling.
That is, a bushing is hammered into the bore hole, which is drilled from two directions with some separation of the drilling directions. It is this bushing that does not allow the use of cartridges with a metal bullet - this solution is used by Technoarms designers on almost the entire line of the company’s traumatic weapons. The Groza pistol model 41 demonstrates excellent performance with any cartridges of a suitable caliber immediately after unpacking.
Since its introduction on the market, the Groza 041, equipped with barrels made using EVO technology, has demonstrated excellent accuracy and endurance. Barrels made using this technology have a whole list of advantages:
- Confident demonstration of good shot accuracy, regardless of loaded ammunition;
- No excessive spread of soft bullets;
- When using more powerful ammunition, it is not necessary to replace the mainspring;
- The pistol turned out to be truly omnivorous in terms of cartridges consumed;
Based on all this, the pistol turned out to be truly reliable and demonstrates the best performance in its line, even when using weak cartridges. The new barrel received an index of 4.4 and differs from its predecessor, version 4.1, in the quality of workmanship. In addition, the designers managed to solve the problem of the cartridge sticking - to do this they had to increase the distance between the magazine jaws by only 0.41 millimeters. Also for this purpose, the designers refined the chamber with pinpoint precision, polishing it to a mirror surface, and the magazines were fitted with the same precision to fit the 9 mm RA cartridge used.
This set of solutions allows the weapon to demonstrate reliability and accuracy of every shot, even when using ammunition filled with soft rubber balls.
Revolver "Groza" and its modifications
Several modifications of the currently widely known Groza revolver are produced in Russia. There are 2 lines of this weapon, the difference between them is only in the material of manufacture. This is a revolver called “r-03 S”, “02-S”, “04-S”, “06-S” and several other types. Each of them is an excellent example of a personal traumatic weapon for self-defense, although at first it does not look light and compact, its appearance is also standard, without any frills. The prefix “s” in the name indicates that the injury is made of steel; if it is not in the name, it means that a TsAM alloy is used. The "Groza" revolver is manufactured in Moscow on the basis of a Czech analogue called "Alpha-440", it is distinguished by high-quality assembly.
Manufacturers order some parts of this injury from the Czech Republic. Russian revolvers are also used in European countries, where they have proven themselves well. The absence of a bolt and automation makes this type of weapon more reliable than a pistol.
General information
This is a double-action revolver, that is, you can shoot both with self-cocking and with the hammer placed on the sear.
The initiation system here is made in the simplest way. When cocking the hammer, a special shelf takes a vertical position, thereby blocking the firing pin. At the moment of release, the trigger hits precisely this shelf, and that, in turn, hits the firing pin. Thus, a spontaneous shot is excluded, for example, if the Thunderstorm revolver falls. The drum is opened with a key located on the left side. This six-shot revolver is chambered for a nine-millimeter cartridge (it is allowed to use not only traumatic cartridges, but also pneumatic or starting, blank cartridges), and is loaded through a moonclip. It should be noted that the drum and trigger mechanism (trigger mechanism) for models made from TsAM are still made of metal. Also on steel models the handle has a more orthopedic shape; in alloy models it is simplified. In steel revolvers, the strap is not ventilated, although for a rubber arrow this plays more of an aesthetic role than a practical one.
Overview of modifications
Models "р-04" and "р-06" are equipped with adjustable sights; they can be calibrated vertically and horizontally.
On the muzzle, the Groza revolver has decorative rifling, straight along the entire length of the barrel. This traumatic weapon is also made from TsAM alloys, it is slightly lighter, and differs slightly in shape from steel models. This material reduces the cost of production. The Groza R-03 revolver has a three-inch barrel, which does not have sights. The “r-06” modification is considered a purely sporting weapon, as it has a large weight (1150 grams) and size, which makes it impossible to carry it concealed. The Groza R-02 revolver has a two-inch barrel. This traumatik with a short handle is optimal for wearing in the summer. It is also available in caliber 45 Rubber for the traumatic cartridge. When firing, any of the models presented by the plant creates a fairly high grouping of shots.

All that remains is to find a normal online store with a normal reasonable price tag. And that’s how I went to the store in Izhevsk. This gun costs 23,000 there... I clarified the delivery price... I expected, of course, that it would be exorbitant... but it turned out to be only 1300. I made the purchase... On the same day I received an invoice for payment. I paid on the same day. The next day I received a letter that the money had arrived. In order for the gun to be sent, you must send the original license to the online store. I sent using EMS Guarantor (1200 rubles). 3 days on the road. And 3 more days after receiving my license, the goods were transferred to Special Communications. The parcel from Izhevsk to Tyumen took 13 days.
And so... I became the proud owner of this “toy”... Today I already went out of town... to poop out of it... SALT! Well, that’s okay! Of course, I’m not an expert in these matters, but in my opinion, the quality of workmanship and assembly is at the highest level...
