Description of the cold Yarygin pistol PYA-SKH:

The cooled PYA-SKH chambered for a blank cartridge is made from a real pistol! The automatic shutter works as on a combat version.

Technical changes have been made to the main parts of the product, eliminating the possibility of firing a live cartridge from it or using its main parts:

  • the barrel has a new chamber for 10x31 mm caliber;
  • a bushing is installed in the barrel bore, secured with two pins;
  • the combat stop has been removed from the barrel breech;
  • an angle is made on the bolt extraction window at the place of the combat stop.

The Yarygin PYA-SKH pistol, decommissioned by the SHP, is a military weapon decommissioned from the warehouse, subjected to a number of design changes for the purpose of cooling. The Yarygin pistol replaced the PM pistol, which did not meet modern requirements. Design Bureau under the leadership of V.

In 1993, Y. Yarygina proposed her latest development - a self-loading 9-mm pistol, and in 2003 the PYa was adopted and began to enter military units, the internal troops, as well as units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other law enforcement agencies of our country.

Mass production of PV began in 2011. In addition to being used by the Russian Armed Forces, the Yarygin pistol is in service with security forces in Armenia, Belarus, Lithuania, and is also used in Kazakhstan as a sports and training weapon. The design features of the PY allow you to install a Weaver rail and a tactical flashlight with a target designator on it.

Yarygin's cooled PYA-SKH pistol is fully automatic and fires in semi-automatic mode.

If 9 mm caliber cartridges are suitable for a combat analogue, then Yarygin’s pistol, converted into a blank, fires 10x31 mm ammunition, the same as for a blank PPSh.

In accordance with Russian legislation, the magazine of a deactivated PY can hold 10 rounds of ammunition.

A special feature of this weapon is the fact that the pistol is suitable for both left-handed and right-handed shooters, since it uses a safety lever that extends on both sides. Its lower position is combative. When the magazine is completely fired, the pistol is placed on the bolt slide.

The cooling of the Yarygin pistol was carried out at the Molot Arms plant, and consists of the following changes in its design:

  • two pins appeared in the barrel bore, which, however, do not interfere with the full escape of fire and smoke;
  • one bolt guide removed by milling;
  • a seam appeared on the right slab;
  • The left bolt guide is completely welded, making disassembly and reassembly impossible.

The deactivated PYA-SKH pistol can be used for entertainment, as training equipment, and also as a signal weapon. It will be a wonderful gift for all gun lovers.

DEVICE AND PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION of Yarygin’s cooled pistol “PYA-SKH”

The trigger mechanism ensures the production of a single shot. To increase the durability of the product and corrosion resistance, the cartridge-nick can be chrome-plated. The principle of operation of the product is as follows: When you press the trigger, the trigger breaks off the sear, and under the action of the return spring, it moves vigorously around its axis, the firing pin pierces the igniter capsule, which ignites the powder charge of the light-sound cartridge. Powder gases rush through the labyrinth of the barrel and pass through the muzzle of the barrel with a loud bang and flash. A shot is simulated. During recoil, the bolt moves back due to the energy of the powder gases, the cartridge case is removed from the chamber and, when interacting with the protrusion of the reflector, is thrown out of the weapon, while the hammer is cocked. When the bolt moves to the extreme forward position, the cartridge from the magazine is sent into the chamber, the ejector jumps over the rim of the sleeve.

When the trigger is pulled again, the cycle repeats.

PREPARATION AND OPERATING PROCEDURE for the Yarygin “PYA-SKH” quenched pistol

Release the shutter; the moving parts will vigorously return to their most forward position. To simulate a shot, press the trigger. To produce the next simulated shot, repeat step 4. When the magazine runs out of cartridges, the moving parts will remain in the rear position. Rent a store. Equip the magazine with cartridges and attach to the product. Press down on the bolt stop lever. The product is loaded and ready to simulate a shot.

The order of unloading "ПЯ-СХ": - separate the magazine; — move the moving parts back and remove the cartridge from the chamber; — pull the trigger; — empty the magazine of cartridges.

Yarygin's empty pistol: through the pages of history

If you want to purchase a deactivated model of the PY, then you will probably be interested in learning about the history of the creation of this weapon. It begins with the need to manufacture a pistol that would replace the legendary PM.

In 1993, PYa was put up for competition, but took on the role of winner only seven years later. More time passed before it entered service. Thus, the weapon began to be used only in 2003.

Features of the cold Yarygin pistol

From us you can buy SHP PYa with minimal design changes. All of them were introduced in order to exclude the possibility of firing ammunition. In particular, the transformations affected the barrel part (a pin was welded) and the frame configuration (change in the structure of the guides).

Externally, the Yarygin SHP pistol completely replicates a military weapon. A distinctive feature of the model that immediately catches your eye is the semi-hidden trigger. It is no coincidence that this part has such a design. The developers made the trigger recessed to increase the convenience of removing the pistol and to eliminate the possibility of it getting caught in the shooter’s clothing or ammunition.

PYa belongs to the category of automatic pistols. The operation of the system was based on a scheme in which the barrel has a short stroke.

I was pleased with another product. The Yarygin pistol is a modern weapon and having such a product means being in trend. Of course, there were some alterations, as the barrel was cut to fit 10 mm caliber. Shoots really powerfully. So deactivation did not affect the appearance and sound. Judging by the reviews, it’s worth buying, not a dummy in the form of a signal signal. So: The barrel - the chamber is cut to fit the caliber 10x31, a sleeve is pressed into the barrel bore and two pins are installed, the lug lug is removed from the barrel casing. The bolt - where the lug lug of the casing engages, an angle is applied .On the pistol frame, the left guide is cut off by milling. A welding seam is applied on the right plate to exclude the possibility of using the frame in a combat model of this product. The left bolt guide is welded to prevent the pistol from being disassembled and the barrel removed. General markings are applied directly to the bolt of the product. The abbreviations SO and GISch are applied to the barrel and frame of the pistol. Produced in a small edition of 28 pieces from real combat material, no mock-ups. Includes wiper, box, magazine, documents pistol. Deactivated: barrel 2 studs, welded onto the control frame, it is impossible to completely remove the barrel and bolt when disassembling. In 1990, the USSR Ministry of Defense announced a competition for a new pistol, designed to replace the one in service, but not PM pistol that fully meets modern requirements (R&D program “Grach”). In 1993, a pistol designed by Yarygin was presented to this competition. According to the test results, in 2000 the pistol (named MP-443 “Rook”) became the winner of the competition. In 2003, under the name “9-mm Yarygin pistol” (YA), it was adopted by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. As of the beginning of 2010, Yarygin pistols began to enter service with units of the Russian Armed Forces, internal troops, special units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and other law enforcement agencies. In 2011, mass production of PYa for the Russian Army was launched[2]. In 2012, officers of the Western Military District began to use the Yarygin pistol as a new standard weapon.
