Chassis

The vehicle frame consists of two interconnected spars having a variable cross-section. The elements connecting them are six transverse beams and a buffer.

  • double-acting telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers;
  • rubber bushings for shock absorbers;
  • brackets.

The shock absorbers are fastened using bushings through the upper lugs to the bracket brackets, and on the opposite side - through the lower lugs to the bracket itself.

The rear suspension consists of springs that are inserted into the eyelets of the brackets. They are secured using balancers on the balance axis. This device is also equipped with reaction rods (four lower and two upper), which transmit braking and pushing forces to the frame from the axles.

Device

The basis of the car is a load-bearing riveted frame made of high-strength steel and characterized by increased rigidity. The design provides short rear and front overhangs, thereby increasing cross-country ability. The platform for transporting people and cargo is made of metal. It has lift-up side seats and an opening tailgate. The body assumes the possibility of installing an awning, arches and mounting sides on both sides. Some modifications received a wooden platform. The sides of the Ural 4320 are lattice or solid. The design provides for a front location of the unit. To access the engine, the hood opens upward. On the sides there are wide, flat fenders that protect the cabin from foreign objects and dirt while driving.

Brake system

The vehicle has three different braking systems:

  1. The working system consists of drums, shoes, hydraulic cylinders (2 per mechanism). Interchangeable pads are placed on the supporting axes. Their adjustment is carried out using an eccentric based on the state of wear. The drive consists of two circuits that act separately on the driving front and rear axles.
  2. If the main system circuit fails, the backup device is activated. Its role is taken over by the current circuit.
  3. The parking braking system includes a drum and two shoes.
  4. Auxiliary (compression type) – helps reduce the speed of the vehicle when descending. The output gas pipelines of the power plant are blocked by flaps, which helps to slow down the car.

Such combined braking helps to effectively hold a tractor with a heavy trailer.

The cost of a new Ural 4320 car varies significantly depending on the version:
