Russian-made binoculars: technical characteristics

In order to make the right choice from Russian-made binoculars, the technical characteristics of which we will describe further, you need to understand what they are needed for. It should be noted that, for example, tourist optics are very different from hunting optics, and marine and military options have a fairly impressive magnification, as well as the ability to “see” at night. Such binoculars are included in the list of special devices. Their cost and workmanship, of course, differ greatly.

How to choose Russian-made binoculars? You should pay attention to the size of the device and the zoom ratio.

Travel optics from Russian manufacturers

In order to go camping, you do not need to purchase a product with a strong magnification. An option with 7-10x magnification is perfect. If the indicators are higher, then it will be difficult for a person to hold such binoculars in his hands. You'll have to use a tripod. Devices with 10x zoom are excellent for travel purposes. Among the good options, Russian-made rubberized binoculars should be noted. We'll look at the technical specifications below. They will be no worse than imported ones, and even a little cheaper. The main thing is that the device does not take up much space and fits in your hand. It is best to have binoculars with 8x magnification for rare hiking trips. This model is especially suitable for nature lovers. This indicator will be enough to enlarge any object and clearly see it. One of such models is “BPC6 8×30 Rubin”. This product has a rubberized body. Its average cost is 7 thousand rubles.

Many buyers do not understand what the numbers in the name mean. The first (in this case it is a figure eight) indicates the ability to zoom in on distant objects, and the second indicates the dimensions of the lens. The last indicator is indicated in millimeters.

Why are military binoculars from Russia?

Military binoculars made in Russia have their advantages. Firstly, this is their affordability coupled with decent quality. For example, they use exclusively glass optics, which improves the optical performance of binoculars. Replacing glass with polymers, although it reduces the size of the device, at the same time makes it much more vulnerable to harsh temperature conditions.

The largest optical-mechanical enterprises in Russia are located in Kazan, Salavat, Sergiev Posad, and Zagorsk. They use modern technology and offer a wide range, namely: military binoculars with a rangefinder, with a metal and rubberized body, using a ruby coating, etc.

The most popular binoculars are the BPC brand from the Kazan Optical-Mechanical Plant (KOMZ). These models offer two types of focusing, optimal magnification and portability. Field military binoculars from this plant will delight you with their functions and reliability.

A high-tech solution is offered by the Zagorsk Optical-Mechanical Plant (ZOMZ). The binoculars are equipped with image stabilization, night vision technology, modern optics, etc.

Binoculars made in the USSR are of particular value among domestic models. They are characterized by quality optics, robust assembly and durability. However, they are only suitable for amateurs and hunters than for the military due to outdated technology.

Optics for hunting

In order for the hunting to be successful, you should choose the right binoculars. It should have a medium or even high magnification. If the multiplicity is high, then the review is less. Accordingly, it will be possible to observe even small game. The option with 10-15x magnification will appeal to every hunter. It is best to install the device on a tripod and observe the animal. If a person needs to get a large view for better hunting, it is worth using optics with a lower magnification - in the range from 4 to 7. In this case, the lenses should have a diameter in the range of 25-40 mm. When choosing models, you need to pay attention to additional features - shockproof properties. The body must be rubberized. The weight of the device should not be very large, otherwise the hunter will not be able to track game for a long period. An excellent option would be “Baigysh 8×30”. Its cost is about 2 thousand rubles. It may seem a little heavy, but it will be quite convenient and comfortable to use.

Purpose, main characteristics and design of binoculars. How to use them

1. Purpose and types of binoculars

Binoculars are the main observational optical device for all branches of the military and are intended for observing the battlefield, finding and studying targets, measuring horizontal and vertical angles and adjusting fire.

The following domestically produced prismatic binoculars are in use:

Binoculars with 6x magnification and 8°30 field of view; binocular code B-6 (Binoculars B-6: 1 - neck strap; 2 - cover for eyepieces)

Binoculars with 8x magnification and 8°30 field of view; binocular code B-8

Binoculars with 12x magnification and 6° field of view; binocular code B-12

Binoculars with 15x magnification and 4° field of view; binocular code B-15

The binoculars are stored in a special case, inside of which there are sockets for a spare eyepiece shell and light filters (orange or yellow-green glasses) that are placed on the eyepieces.

The set of binoculars B-6, B-8, B-12 and B-15 includes: Binoculars, Case with shoulder strap, Spare eyepiece shell, Light filters in the frame (2 pcs.), Eyepiece cover with neck strap, Flannel cloth 200 x 200 mm.

Note. There may be binoculars that have a leather loop for carrying the binoculars on a button.

2. Description of the appearance of binoculars

Each binocular consists of two telescopes (monoculars) connected to each other by a hinge. The monoculars are connected in such a way that when rotating around the hinge axis, their optical axes and the hinge axis are always parallel to each other.

The right monocular consists of: - the ocular part; - from the right body with upper and lower covers, upper and lower lugs for assembling the hinge and a swivel for attaching the neck strap; - from the objective part.

The left monocular consists of the same parts and components as the right one, but there is no “grid” in it. On the outside, on the upper left cover of the B-6 binoculars, the inscription is engraved and filled with a special alloy: AU (on some UVP) 6X30.

B-6 binoculars of the latest releases do not have the AU inscription, but on the upper left cover they are engraved: 6X30, binocular number and factory brand.

Binoculars B-8, B-12 and B-15 have the following engraving on the upper left covers, respectively: B8X30, B12X42 and B15X50. The first number indicates the magnification of the binoculars, and the second is the diameter of its lens in millimeters.

In addition, the binocular number, year of manufacture and factory brand are also engraved on the covers of these binoculars.

The engraving of the lids is filled with thickly ground zinc white.

The hinge consists of an outer bushing, an inner axle, an upper graduated disk, a lower disk, upper and lower hinge screws, and a hinge nut.

3. Goniometer grid

The goniometer grid is applied on a plane-parallel glass plate, which is placed in the right monocular.

The cost of a large grid division (between long adjacent strokes or between adjacent crosses) is 0-10; the cost of a small grid division (between long and short strokes or between a cross and a short stroke) is 0-05.

By dividing the small division of the grid into two parts by eye, angles can be measured with an accuracy of two or three divisions of the protractor.

Using a goniometric grid, you can measure angles in horizontal and vertical planes.

All binoculars have the goniometer grid shown; the reticle of binoculars B-6 and B-8 has an angular distance between the outermost strokes horizontally equal to 1-00, binoculars B-12 - 0-80, and binoculars B-15 - 0-60. Binoculars device

Binoculars B-6 structure: 1 - diopter ring; 2-clutch; 3 - ocular shell; 4- upper disk with divisions; 5 — hinge screws; 6 — goniometric grid; 7 — eyepiece assembly; 8 — eyepiece base; 9 — frame of the eye lens; 10 and 11 — eye lenses of the eyepiece; 12 — stopper; 13 — eyepiece clip; 14 — clamping ring; 15 — clamping ring; 16 — mesh frame; 17 - cover screw; 18 and 26 — housing covers; 19 and 23 — springs; 20 - first prism of the wrapping system; 21 — rubber covering; 22 - second prism of the wrapping system; 24 — monocular body; 25 — lens holder; 27 — lens frame; 28 — eccentric ring; 29-clamping ring; 30 — lens cap; 31 — objective lenses; 32 — cap of the lower prism; 33 and 39 — brass washers; 34 and 36 — pins; 35 — lower disk; 37 — external hinge axis; 38 — internal hinge axis; 40 - axial hinge nut.

Binoculars B-8 device

Binoculars B-8 in their internal structure are basically similar to binoculars B-6 of the latest release, which instead of the outer axis has a bushing cast as one piece with the right body.

The difference between the B-8 binoculars and the B-6 binoculars in terms of the internal structure is that it uses a different eyepiece, thanks to which it was possible to obtain 8x magnification with the same field of view as the B-6 binoculars, equal to 8°30. 1 — upper disk; 2-washer; 3 - screw; 4 — light filter in the frame; 5 — eyepiece base; 6 - cover; 7 - spring; 8 — mesh in the frame; 9 - first prism of the wrapping system; 10 - second prism of the wrapping system; 11 — prism cap; 12 - spring; 13- lens holder; 14 — lens frame; 15 — eccentric ring; 16 — clamping ring; 17 — lens cap; 18 — lens; 19 - cover; 20 — right body; 21 — rubber covering; 22 — washer; 23 - pin; 24 - screw; 25 — lower disk; 36 — hinge axis; 27 — cover screw; 28 — hinge nut. The B-8 binoculars use a complex five-lens eyepiece.

Binoculars B-6 (section of the right monocular and hinge)

Binoculars B-8 (section of the right monocular and hinge)

Binoculars B-15 device

The B-15 binoculars have essentially the same internal structure as the B-8 binoculars.

Binocular design

The B-15 differs from the design of the B-8 binoculars in that its bushing is replaced by an outer axis, as in the B-6 binoculars; The lens holder is significantly larger than in the B-8 binoculars and is locked in the body with a stopper; the eye lens is not rolled into the frame, but is secured with a clamping ring in the eyepiece holder.

Due to the fact that the B-15 binoculars have a 15x magnification, the dimensions of the optical parts are increased, and the binoculars themselves have larger dimensions than other types of binoculars.

The B-15 binoculars use a complex five-lens eyepiece.

The design of the eyepiece of the B-15 binoculars is similar to the design of the eyepiece of the B-8 binoculars, with the exception of the method of attaching the eye lens, which in the B-15 binoculars is secured with a clamping ring.

Unprotected magnesium alloy is not resistant enough to corrosion, so all magnesium alloy parts are subjected to a special finish, and the inner surface of the cases and covers is coated with matte black enamel. The fasteners (screws, stoppers, springs) are galvanized, and the screws are also varnished, since due to the low anti-corrosion properties of the magnesium alloy, its contact with steel is unacceptable.

Binoculars B-12 device

Binoculars B-12 have the same internal structure as binoculars B-15.

The design of the B-12 binoculars differs from the design of the B-15 binoculars only in the significantly smaller size of the lens holder, which reduces the dimensions of the binoculars and makes them more resistant to misalignment of the parallelism of the optical axes. The binoculars use a complex six-lens eyepiece.

The bodies with prisms in the B-12 binoculars are completely borrowed from the B-15 binoculars. Binoculars B-12 have a high magnification (12x) with a good field of view (6°).

The design of the eyepiece of the B-12 binoculars is similar to the design of the eyepiece of the B-15 binoculars. In order to reduce the weight of the B-12 binoculars, its parts, as well as the B-15 binoculars, are made of magnesium and aluminum-magnesium alloys.

The binoculars have coated optical parts, which provide greater light transmission.

Problems solved with binoculars

Using binoculars you can solve the following problems:

Measure angles in horizontal and vertical planes.

Determine the range to local objects (targets) if their dimensions (height, width) are known.

Adjust shooting.

Measuring angles in horizontal and vertical planes. Angles in the horizontal plane are measured using a horizontal row of strokes on a goniometric grid.

If it is necessary to measure the angle between two objects that are visible simultaneously in the field of view and do not extend beyond the area of the strokes of the binoculars’ goniometer grid, then by counting the number of divisions that fit between these objects, the angle is determined in the divisions of the protractor.

For small angular distances between two objects (less than 0-50), the center of the goniometer grid should always be combined with one of the objects and the number of divisions of the goniometer should be counted to the other object.

When measuring the deviation of a gap from a target (local object), the center of the grid should be aligned with the center of the gap, since otherwise the angle will be measured inaccurately or the gap will be missed.

When the angle between two objects is greater than 0-50, but less than 1-00, the outermost stroke of the goniometric grid is combined with one of the objects and the angle is measured to the other object.

If the measured angle between two objects is greater than 1-00 (in the figure, a mill and a Christmas tree), the distance between the objects should be divided into two sections by selecting an additional object (in the figure, a road sign).

Having measured the angles between the extreme objects and the additional one, sum them up and get the angle between the two objects of interest.

Measuring the deviation of the gap (P) from the target (local object)

Angle measurement greater than 0-50

Angle measurement greater than 1-00

Angles in the vertical plane are measured using a vertical row of strokes on a goniometric grid. The technique for measuring angles between two objects lying in a vertical plane is the same as when using a horizontal row of strokes.

Range determination. Determining the distance to a local object (target) using the goniometric reticle of binoculars is possible only if the dimensions of the object (target) or the dimensions of the object located in close proximity to the target are known.

To determine the range proceed as follows:

Measure the angle at which the height or width of an object (target) is visible, in protractor divisions.

The number expressing the size of the object (target) in meters is divided by the number of divisions of the protractor.

Multiply the resulting quotient by 1000. The result will be the desired range in meters.

Example. The height of the telegraph pole is 6 m. The pole is visible at an angle of 0-03, the distance to it will be

The dimensions of some objects (targets) are as follows: the average height of a person is 1.7 m; the width of a person’s head in a headdress is 0.3 m; the width at the shoulders of a person dressed in winter clothes is 0.6 m; the distance between adjacent telegraph poles is about 50 m; the height of the scaffolding is 25 m.

Purpose, main characteristics and design of a reconnaissance periscope. How to use it

Periscope reconnaissance Tr-4 (rear view)

The Russian Armed Forces use optical (prism) periscopes with different periscopes and different optical characteristics. The simplest in design are the Tr-4 and Tr-8 trench reconnaissance periscopes.

The periscope is a metal tube, in the upper part of which there is an entrance hole with a lens covered by an inclined glass. There is an eyepiece at the bottom of the tube. The pipe at the bottom ends in a hollow handle, which the observer can hold in his hand while observing or attach to a peg, sticking it into the ground.

The entrance hole of the Tr-4 periscope, which does not have protective glass, is closed in the stowed position by turning the protective casing placed on the periscope body.

The entrance hole of the Tr-8 periscope is covered with an inclined protective glass, which serves to eliminate unmasking glare. The eyepiece of the Tr-8 periscope is adjusted to the eye in the same way as when working with binoculars. The measurement of horizontal and vertical angles is carried out using an angle measuring grid placed in the field of view of the periscope.

However, the periscope is not able to fully satisfy the scouts, since it is possible to observe through it with only one eye. That is why, along with binoculars, at the observation post there is another, more advanced optical device - a stereo tube, which is a combination of binoculars with a periscope. Therefore, it has their advantages and is free from their disadvantages.

Purpose, main characteristics and structure of a stereo tube. How to use it

The structure of a stereo tube is like a combination of two periscopes, fastened at the base on a common hinged axis. The troops use a large stereo scope and an artillery stereo scope.

The latter differs only in some design details and angle-measuring grid. The large stereo tube has a tenfold magnification, a field of view of 5°, a periscope of 325 mm, and a weight in working position of 11.5 kg. It provides angle measurement accuracy up to 0-01.

The stereo tube is the main artillery observation and angle measuring device. Compared to binoculars, it has greater magnification and greater stereoscopicity.

AST and BST stereo tubes are designed for detailed study of terrain, reconnaissance of targets and for observing explosions during shooting. In addition, they serve to measure horizontal and vertical angles, to measure distances, as well as to carry out topographical preparation for shooting.

Like binoculars, a stereo scope has lenses, eyepieces, and prisms. The rays of light in the stereo tube pass along a broken line, being reflected in the prisms twice at 90 degrees, which makes it possible to observe from behind the cover.

The telescopes rotate around a common hinge axis, which ensures parallelism of the optical axes of the telescopes at any relative position. The eyepieces of the stereo tube are movable, with diopter scales, like binoculars. The eyepieces are installed according to the eyes in the same way as when adjusting the eyepieces of binoculars; the entrance holes are covered alternately with leather tires.

The rotation of the stereo tube during observation and when measuring horizontal angles is carried out using the drum of the upper worm mechanism. To quickly rotate the stereo tube to any horizontal angle, the worm is released from the clutch using a retraction, which is turned to full strength with a slight force sufficient to hold it in the retracted position.

Observation through an AST stereoscope from behind a tree trunk (spotting scopes spread apart)

The tripod is used to install a stereo tube on it, which ensures stability of the device when using it.

When the pipes are apart, the plasticity and stereoscopicity of the device increases, which makes it possible to better assess the relative position of objects in depth; when the pipes are brought together, the greatest periscope is achieved. The field of view of the stereo tube is small: only 5.5 degrees. But the magnification of the stereo tube is tenfold, that is, more than that of binoculars, which are usually used at an observation post.

The field of view of the stereo scope, which is somewhat smaller than that of binoculars - 5 degrees, cannot be considered its big drawback. The stereo tube, after pointing it at the target, can be fixedly mounted on a tripod.

Consequently, if observation of a target is temporarily interrupted and then needs to be resumed, then there is no need to search for the target again, that is, to “catch” it in the field of view of the device, as one has to do when observing through binoculars. In addition, the stereo scope can be quickly rotated to any angle to the right or left, and even with a small field of view, it can immediately cover a large area of terrain.

A stereo tube, compared to other optical devices, has one more advantage: it is more stereoscopic.
In binoculars, the lenses are placed 2 times wider than the eyepieces, and this increases the range of stereoscopic vision by 2 times. With a stereo tube, when its telescopes are brought together, the distance between the prisms exceeds the distance between the eyepieces by 3 times, and when these tubes are spread apart - by 10 times. Accordingly, when observing through a stereo tube, the range of stereoscopic vision increases by the same amount. A stereo tube has another important advantage over binoculars: it can help you measure angles more accurately. The basic rules for caring for and preserving devices, as well as normal operation and careful handling of them, must be strictly observed by everyone who is involved in the nature of their practical activities with surveillance devices. Special hunting optics

For many hunters, models that were previously produced for military purposes are now available. We will talk about electronic binoculars with quite impressive magnification. When creating them, a laser rangefinder is used. What does it affect? Thanks to it, you can get all the information about the distance at which the object is located. The data is displayed on a liquid crystal screen. Thanks to this, a person can get an accurate sight. A special advantage of such devices is that they provide the highest quality picture at night or in poor visibility. On the forums you can find many excellent reviews about devices of this type. Especially similar Russian-made binoculars, the price of which is slightly higher than those described earlier, are suitable for beginners. They help them set up their sights correctly. Such devices have an error of no more than a meter, so if the eye is not yet adapted to “catching” prey, binoculars will be a pretty good purchase. If used by a professional, the product will help save time on tracking the animal.

Marine binoculars

Marine binoculars will be useful to anyone who considers themselves a fisherman or serves in the navy. On the water you need to have a full view of the horizon. Therefore, the choice should fall on Russian-made marine binoculars, which would have a magnification of 7 to 10. This will be quite enough to get the full picture. If a person needs a device to work on a yacht, then he should choose the model that is designed for use with a tripod.

An excellent marine model is the BPC7 8×30. Its average cost is 5 thousand rubles. The device is foldable and small in size. Perfect for traveling on the water or for fishing. All optics for this purpose are created in a waterproof case so that if something happens they do not fail. It should be noted that the prices for such devices are much higher when compared with conventional models. But you need to understand that the quality of the resulting picture is high.

Military and army binoculars for comfortable observation

Army binoculars are traditionally of high quality; defense equipment in all countries is the pinnacle of technology and industrial capabilities. Naturally, high-quality military binoculars are also in demand among civilians.

Today you can buy military binoculars for peaceful purposes. In order to choose the right model from the variety of offers, first of all, decide on the range of tasks for which such an accessory is purchased. It wouldn’t hurt to be familiar with the basic characteristics.

Basic characteristics of binoculars

  • Models with 8-12x magnification are considered optimal. For military purposes, a more powerful power is often needed, which can be handled by military field and naval binoculars with 20x (or more) magnification. However, it is advisable to use such models in conjunction with a tripod.

In addition to the multiplicity, other indicators also play an important role:

  • diameter of the exit pupil - if you take the device and move it away from the eyes at a distance of 40-50 cm, you can see a small spot of light. It is called the exit pupil for the reason that the light passing through the optics exits through it. If the size of our pupil changes during the day, then in the case of military binoculars, it should remain constant. In other words, optimal observation is achieved if the exit pupil of the optical equipment and the eye of the observer are approximately the same size. Due to this fact, for long-term and eye-safe use, it is better to buy army field binoculars with an exit pupil of 5 to 7 mm.
  • coefficient of transparency or light transmittance. The more complex the device, the greater the loss of light. This value is expressed as a decimal fraction. So, with a light loss of 30%, the transparency coefficient is 0.7.
  • Aperture is the brightness of the “picture” obtained on the retina when observed through binoculars in relation to observation with the naked eye. If you need a device for effective use in low light conditions (night, twilight), choose models with higher aperture. Aperture, field of view and magnification are a group of indicators that are closely related to each other. An increase in magnification will cause a decrease in the field of view of the equipment, and an increase in the exit pupil will lead to an increase in aperture ratio, but a decrease in magnification.
  • Focusing is a quick way to achieve sharpness. A necessary function when observing a moving or simply active object.

Shockproof and waterproof binocular housing

But no matter how “advanced” the chosen model is, be it military binoculars with a rangefinder or modern devices with stabilization, it is important to pay attention to the strength and durability of the case. The shock resistance of the case depends on the material of manufacture.

An excellent option is a body made of light and durable aluminum alloy. For maximum shockproof and moisture-proof effect, the case must be coated with non-slip rubber. This will not only protect the binoculars from water and falls, but will also allow you to comfortably hold the binoculars even with a wet hand.

With sufficient thickness and elasticity of the walls, the device will not only remain unharmed if dropped from a height, but will also be much more convenient to hold. We recommend models with a sufficient degree of rubberization and for monitoring in rainy weather. Such protection will ensure the correct functioning of the equipment even in extreme conditions.

The best military binoculars are so sealed that they remain operational after being submerged in water to a depth of 5 meters.

As for anti-fog protection, it is achieved by filling the space between the lenses with nitrogen. As a result, excellent visibility is provided during sudden temperature changes.

Field of view of binoculars

An important indicator is the field of view (usually the field of view at a distance of 1000 m is taken into account). Regarding this characteristic, you should be guided by the specific tasks that you set for the binoculars. If you need a wide view (for example, you use binoculars in an open space or water surface), then a model with a wide field of view is suitable for you. If your goal is to observe a specific object, then it is better to choose a model with a smaller field of view at a distance of 1000 m.

The angular field of view of binoculars (FOV) is an important indicator that determines how well and accurately the binoculars distinguish small details of objects. It is measured by the number of lines/mm or strokes/mm. The smaller the angle, the higher the resolution of the device to transmit a clear image.

Binocular prisms

Our store offers binoculars with two main types of prisms:

  • porro (Porro);
  • Roof.

Binoculars with Porro prisms have a stepped lens and eyepiece. Such a device transmits a higher quality, brighter and clearer image.

Models with Roof prisms - the eyepiece and lens are located on the same straight line, which simplifies the design. Such an optical device is more compact, but its cost increases significantly.

Coating binocular lenses

Coating of optics is one of the important parameters when choosing binoculars. Anti-reflective coating on the lenses increases the light transmittance of the binoculars. So, in order to reduce the amount of scattered and reflected light from the surface of the optical elements of binoculars, special coatings - films - are applied to the surface of the lenses and prisms at the air-glass interface.

Most binocular models presented in the Voenpro online store are made with coated lens surfaces using Fully Multi-Coated technology (FMC - full multi-layer coating).

Multilayer coating consists of several layers of film from several materials with different refractive indices. A good multi-layer anti-reflective coating not only guarantees a clearer, richer and more contrasting image, but also eliminates unwanted glare from direct sunlight.

All of the above qualities are important if you are choosing a model for a hunter, explorer, traveler or naturalist.

More often, military-made binoculars are made in protective camouflage colors, which makes them invisible. This indicator is one of the determining ones if you need to choose equipment for observing, say, shy birds.

Models with a set of special functions are in great demand today. This could be a compass, image stabilizer, laser rangefinder and other options adapted for use in non-standard conditions. It is logical that the price of professional military binoculars with a rangefinder will be higher than the cost of devices with similar characteristics, but without special features.

Inexpensive binoculars for observation

In the Voenpro online store you can buy inexpensive binoculars for observation with delivery throughout Moscow and throughout Russia. Available in our online store:

  • Models for hunters and tourists with central focusing and large practical lenses.
  • Options characterized by wear resistance, durability, increased body strength and twenty-eight times magnification.
  • High-precision military-grade binoculars that provide clear, detailed images even in low natural light.

We always stock the best professional and amateur observation binoculars with practical features.

Monoculars for hunting and observation

A monocular is an optical device that has evolved from the classic telescope.

With smaller dimensions and cost, the monocular boasts a high magnification ratio and image clarity. At the same time, the field of view at the same distance of the monocular will be slightly lower than that of most binocular models and is more suitable for observing a specific object.

Monoculars are used for covert observation during hunting, when you need to accurately trace where the game you shot fell. When fishing, the device will help in tracking gear over a long distance. Monoculars are also popular among tourists, city watchers, or spectators of sports matches or music concerts.

Due to their compactness, monoculars are loved by the military, intelligence agencies and security personnel. Quickly checking the area with a monocular is much easier than using a rifle scope or bulkier binoculars.

For a good monocular, the same characteristics are important as for binoculars. But do not forget that with equal characteristics, a monocular will cost about half as much as binoculars!

Our online store offers only high-quality military binoculars and monoculars with delivery throughout Moscow, Russia and abroad. We accept various forms of payment.

Tactical binoculars

Marine binoculars that have high magnification can be tactical. What does this mean and how are they different? Similar options are created with a rangefinder type reticle. They also have a built-in compass. With this, the picture, even with strong motion, will be as clear and high-quality as possible. The optics will not sink in water, since its body is filled with nitrogen. The lenses are designed with a maximum aperture level, so visibility will be excellent both in good sunny weather and during fog. Unfortunately, most marine binoculars are not modest in size, which cannot be said about tactical options. Most often they have parameters 7x50. Therefore, such a model will be convenient to use. Most marine options have autofocus. Thanks to this, the eyepieces will be adjusted automatically at the same time. Therefore, such models are more expensive, but they also show a higher quality image. The setting is made once, then it is saved in memory. All objects will be visible clearly.

Astronomical binoculars

Space objects have long been under the supervision of scientists. However, this activity is often done as a hobby. Therefore, Russian-made astronomical binoculars are in demand. The approximation should be 10-14 times. The pupil diameter should not exceed 4 mm. All devices that have a characteristic of 12x50-30x90 are considered specialized. The view is as narrow as possible, but the quality of all the details that can be seen in space is excellent. A good model should be called BPC 15×50. The average cost is 6 thousand rubles. Although today it is difficult to surprise anyone with astronomical binoculars, the cost of them is still quite high.
