Modification Groza-021?

At the moment, it is only engaged in the production of the modernized version of Groza-021, which is based on a barrel with the Evo design. There are almost no external differences to the model; the only feature is the index applied to the gun body.

The main design difference of the 021 is the improved Evo barrel. The new design comes from the popular v4/v4.1 barrel. Through simple solutions, the designers managed to improve all the characteristics of the pistol and make it more practical.

The old barriers have been replaced by a modern bushing, which does not allow firing with live ammunition. To extend its service, it was installed immediately after the chamber, which significantly reduces the load on it when firing. It was precisely this modernization of the entire Groza complex that became a distinctive feature.

As soon as barrels of this design appeared on the Russian market, they immediately outstripped standard modifications in popularity. The fact is that Evo shows itself much better in terms of accuracy and reliability. It has a number of advantages that make it better than others:

• Accurate shooting when using cartridges of any power;
• The weapon spring is universal; when changing the type of cartridges, it does not need to be changed;
• The recoil and feeding of the cartridge occurs stably when using any charges.

As a result of all this, the reliability of such barrels is significantly better compared to others. Muzzle energy is not particularly dependent on the energy of the cartridge. Groza-021 is not inferior in energy release to others when using powerful cartridges and is significantly better than others when using weak charges.

The high quality of the chamber is ensured by perfect polishing and calibration. The weapon magazine is strictly adapted to the width of the 9 mm RA cartridge case in order to exclude the possibility of firing live ammunition. Due to the special design, the possibility of the cartridge sticking into the upper part of the chamber is completely eliminated.

The Groza-021 pistol in the first batches had a number of minor defects. Having collected all the feedback from the first customers, the developers quickly corrected all the shortcomings, and subsequent batches were almost perfect, reliable weapons. In addition, the Evo barrel increases the energy released when shooting weak cartridges, especially soft bullets.

Let's take a closer look at what types of thunderstorm injury 021 there are and how they differ.

Groza 021 cartridges deserve special attention. Shooting is allowed with all types of the corresponding caliber 9mm RA - noise, gas, with a rubber bullet, but the weapon’s automatics are configured so that they only work when using rubber projectiles.

Ammunition released after July 2011 has a muzzle energy value not exceeding 110-120 J, at which the pressure in the barrel may also not be enough for the full cycle of automatic operation - reloading.

In the case of Groza 021 evo, the barrel design was specially changed: the developers changed its throughput. As a result, the muzzle energy and power of the gun were reduced and a weakening transverse groove was made in the lower part, immediately behind the chamber.

Design advantages

The reliable design of the revolver provides the ability to fire six guaranteed shots, regardless of the quality of the cartridges or the operation of the automation. Quick reloading of the revolver and continuation of continuous shooting is carried out through the use of clips (clips) of six cartridges each. Loading the revolver with six cartridges and removing six spent cartridges is carried out simultaneously by pressing one button on the revolver drum extractor. The revolver is equipped with two clips (clips).

The first shot after charging is possible using a pre-cocked hammer, as well as using self-cocking. The trigger mechanism is based on the double action principle.

The pistol can be upgraded. For this purpose, replaceable handles are used. They are made from different materials and also have different sizes. Thus, the pistol can be adapted to any shooter.

It should be noted that another characteristic feature of this model is weight reduction. It made it possible to achieve increased convenience when shooting, as well as simple operation and carrying.

To do this, engineers used special alloys made of reinforced materials (partially) to make the frame. Reinforced inserts are integrated into areas of the frame that are most often subject to increased loads. We must pay tribute to the manufacturer and developers - there are very few shortcomings, and they are practically insignificant.

2. Even with watery eyes, the attacker can continue to attack.
3. Do not use in a closed room (elevator, corridor, stairs), otherwise you may get hurt.
4. You need to aim as accurately as possible and take into account the direction of the wind, otherwise the spray cloud may get into your eyes.

Airguns

Air pistols come in single-shot and gas-cylinder types. A gas-cylinder pneumatic charge produces about 40 shots.

Pneumatic weapons are more designed for psychological impact; they can cause damage to the health of the aggressor, especially if they hit the eye or head, or turn out to be meaningless at the most necessary moment.

Outwardly it resembles a firearm, thereby discouraging an attacker from attacking. But an informed person will immediately distinguish pneumatic weapons from military weapons, so it is not always necessary to rely on the psychological effect.

The pistol should be carried in a place where it can be easily reached.

Its action is not as effective as that of a gas canister, which is much more compact, cheaper, easier to use, and does not cause serious damage.

The capabilities of this type of weapon cannot be overestimated. If you hit the eye, the defender will be subject to the article on exceeding the measures of necessary defense.

Pneumatics are not the most reliable weapon for self-defense. Compressed gas may gradually lose charging power, and in cold weather the pressure in the can will decrease.

Air rifles

The operating mechanism is based on the movement of a powerful straightening spring pushing the piston, creating excess air pressure in the compressor. It pushes the bullet.

Airguns are traditionally viewed as entertainment. Many companies produce models that are suitable for hunting small game - rabbits, birds, and so on. Some of these rifles fall into the category of weapons that can be purchased without a license.

The caliber should not be more than 4.5 mm, and the power should not be up to 7.5 J. 6.35 mm air guns should not be purchased without a license.

Also included in the package is a reinforced spring, which is installed for a fee at the counter, which criminalizes gun ownership.

But some buyers take advantage of this because the gun they buy meets license-free regulations. And such a rifle passes inspection by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in rare cases.

Advantages:

Pistol design

Among users, model 021 received the status of a pistol with excellent performance characteristics. The automatic operation scheme has a classic look, it is based on recoil with a free shutter. The position of the bolt frame is controlled by a special spring, which ensures that the bolt is positioned in one position, as well as returning it to the same position after firing. The barrel is rigidly fixed to the frame.

All models in the series are famous for their reliable and trouble-free firing mechanism, which is implemented using a proven double-action scheme. Such mechanisms are called trigger-type mechanisms. A safety cock is provided.

The aiming device consists of a front sight and an adjustable rear sight. No special devices are required to adjust the sighting mechanism, but adjustment is only possible horizontally. The cartridges are stacked in the store in a checkerboard pattern. At first they lie in two rows, and when moving along the handle they are rearranged into one row. The clip holds 14 rounds.

All models prior to version 021 have now been discontinued. In appearance, this modification is no different from its predecessors. Index 021, which received a pistol instead of 02, indicates the use of Evo technology. The barrel type that became the basis is v4/v4.1. It was its improvement that led to an improvement in the technical performance of the pistol. As mentioned above, manufacturers abandoned the use of inserts in the barrel and limited themselves to installing an eccentric bushing. As a result of using such barrels, it was possible to obtain an advantage in the following indicators.

• High accuracy when firing any cartridges.

The Groza-04 pistol, which has a plastic frame, completely replicates the design and construction of the Ukrainian Fort-17T pistol. The automatic operation of the pistol works according to the scheme of using recoil with a free shutter. The bolt-casing is held in the extreme forward position by a return spring located under the barrel. The pistol frame is made of high-strength plastic. The frame of the Groza-04 pistol contains a steel frame with guides along which the bolt-casing moves. Apart from the plastic frame, all other parts of the Groza-04 pistol are made of weapons-grade steel. The barrel is rigidly fixed to the frame. The trigger mechanism is double action, hammer type, with an open arrangement and safety cocking of the hammer. Safety in handling is ensured by a safety lever, the lever of which is located on the left side of the rear part of the pistol's bolt-casing. The safety switch is turned off by moving the lever to the lower position, that is, by a natural downward movement of the thumb. Sighting devices consist of a front sight and rear sight, fixed in dovetail-type grooves, with the possibility of making lateral corrections by moving them. The magazine latch is located at the base of the trigger guard, on the left side of the frame. The magazine has a double-row staggered arrangement of cartridges with their rearrangement into one row at the exit. Magazine capacity - 15 rounds.

Currently, the company Tekhnoarms CJSC is producing a new model of self-defense weapon - this is the Groza-041 pistol with an EVO barrel. The new pistol differs externally only in the index in the name; the model designation Groza-041 is indicated on the bolt-casing. The main difference between the Groza-041 pistols and the EVO barrel is the new barrel manufacturing technology and the quality of its processing. The barrels of modern Groza pistols are manufactured using the new EVO technology and are a further development of the v4 / v4.1 barrel type. As a barrier that prevents the firing of a metal bullet, a non-coaxial drilling bushing is used, installed immediately behind the chamber, which is a distinctive feature of all modern weapons produced by Tekhnoarms CJSC.

Since the appearance of self-defense weapons on the Russian market, EVO barrels have proven themselves to be excellent in terms of accuracy and reliability. The EVO barrel has a number of advantages: stable accuracy characteristics regardless of the cartridge used; no separation from the pile; no need to replace the mainspring when replacing the cartridge used; stable bolt recoil and cartridge feed rates, independent of cartridge power, in other words, omnivorous. The result is increased reliability. The dependence of muzzle energy on the energy of the cartridge is not so strong; with good cartridges, Groza pistols shoot the same as all others; with weak cartridges, Groza pistols shoot better. Shooting results from the EVO barrel have improved in all respects compared to the v4.1 barrel.

The chamber is polished to a shine and strictly calibrated, and the magazines are adapted strictly to the thickness of the cartridge case of the 9mm RA traumatic action cartridge. The 0.4 mm difference in the distance between the jaws of the new and old magazine completely eliminated the possibility of the cartridge sticking into the upper part of the chamber. The manufacturer managed to take into account and quickly correct all the previous shortcomings of the first batches, now Groza pistols work reliably with any cartridges from the box. The accuracy and accuracy of the barrel is again close to the level of previous v4 barrels.
