The safety switch is turned off by moving the lever to the lower position, that is, by a natural downward movement of the thumb. Sighting devices consist of a front sight and rear sight, fixed in dovetail-type grooves, with the possibility of making lateral corrections by moving them. The magazine latch is located at the base of the trigger guard, on the left side of the frame. A magazine with a two-row arrangement of 15 rounds, with them rearranged into one row at the exit.

Currently, it is producing a new model of self-defense weapon - this is the Groza-051 pistol with an EVO barrel. The new pistol differs in appearance only by the index in the name; the model designation Groza-051 is indicated on the bolt-casing. The main difference between the Groza-051 pistols and the EVO barrel is the new barrel manufacturing technology and the quality of its processing. The barrels of modern Groza pistols are manufactured using the new EVO technology and are a further development of the v4 / v4.1 barrel type. As a barrier that prevents the firing of a metal bullet, a misaligned drilling bushing is used, installed immediately behind the chamber, which is a distinctive feature of all modern weapons produced by Tekhnoarms CJSC.

Since the appearance of self-defense weapons on the Russian market, EVO barrels have proven themselves to be excellent in terms of accuracy and reliability. The EVO barrel has a number of advantages: stable accuracy characteristics regardless of the cartridge used; no separation from the pile; no need to replace the mainspring when replacing the cartridge used; stable bolt recoil and cartridge feed rates, independent of cartridge power, in other words, omnivorous. The result is increased reliability. The dependence of muzzle energy on the energy of the cartridge is not so strong; with good cartridges, Groza pistols shoot the same as all others; with weak cartridges, Groza pistols shoot better. Shooting results from the EVO barrel have improved in all respects compared to the v4.1 barrel.

The chamber is polished to a shine and strictly calibrated, and the magazines are adapted strictly to the thickness of the cartridge case of the 9mm RA traumatic action cartridge. The 0.4 mm difference in the distance between the jaws of the new and old magazine completely eliminated the possibility of the cartridge sticking into the upper part of the chamber. The manufacturer managed to take into account and quickly correct all the previous shortcomings of the first batches, now Groza pistols work reliably with any cartridges from the box. The accuracy and accuracy of the barrel is again close to the level of previous v4 barrels. Moreover, the EVO barrel significantly improves the performance of weak cartridges, especially those with soft balls.

Ammunition

“Groza” is a pistol using 9 mm PA cartridges. Today, this traumatic cartridge with various energies is the cheapest and therefore the most widespread. The Thunderstorm series pistols are compatible with cartridges of various energy sources from different manufacturers. The weapon uses gas and rubber cartridges.

To choose the type of cartridge, you need to know the purpose of its use. It must be taken into account that the higher the bullet speed, the lower the accuracy of fire. In this regard, sports cartridges have lower energy than standard ones.

According to the conditions of certification of Russian weapons, when sold, pistols are equipped with a magazine capacity limiter of up to ten rounds. By registering the purchased weapon, the owner has the opportunity to remove the limiter and increase the magazine capacity of the Groza-03 pistol to 17 rounds, and in other models - up to 15.

In order to increase ammunition, the owner of a pistol can purchase additional magazines for his weapon.

However, if you increase the cost of the project, increase the number of fasteners and piles, then construction will take place;
• agriculture and farming. The Arctic zone is not designed for growing lemons, and penguins are unlikely to survive in the Tropical zone. The profitability of doing business especially depends on what climate prevails in the selected territory;
• placement of resorts. Ski or sea depends on the accommodation areas.

Suitable Ammunition

Shooting from a pistol is possible only when using three types of cartridges: traumatic (rubber), noise and gas. But you need to take into account their power and compliance with the model. As emphasized above, the 9 mm RA caliber cartridge is suitable for Groza pistols.

Not all models in the series are equally suitable for all three types of ammunition, since you have to manually release the bolt. The fourth and fifth models are designed for high-power ammunition. When using training or sports weapons, the weapon may refuse to reload. In the rest - everything is at the discretion of the owner. Everything in this case depends on the installed spring, or rather its stiffness. To use powerful ammunition, you need a stiffer spring, for training - vice versa.

Repair

When using any weapon, it may need repair:

1. In case of failure of the frame, barrel or bolt, that is, the main parts of the weapon, repairs are carried out by the manufacturer. The faulty pistol is sent to him by special communication with a referral for repair of the established type attached. This referral is received at the OLLR, which is located at the place where the weapon is registered. A similar procedure is used in the event of a breakdown of any other part of the gun that cannot be replaced independently.
2. When a part of a weapon breaks that is not the main one and it is possible to replace it yourself, a letter is sent to the manufacturer’s address, which is accompanied by a photo of the weapon and its faulty part. He sends the required item by regular mail to the specified address.

If you need to clean the trunks V1-V3 between the teeth, you will need a flexible thin copper or steel wire. A loop is made at one end into which a thin strip of rags is threaded. The latter must be lubricated with gun oil or another cleaning compound. The free end of the wire is inserted into the barrel and pulled so that a piece of rag passes through the barrel and between the teeth. This is repeated several times.

A brush is used to clean the V4 barrel.

Transport version of the Il-4

The partisans made a huge contribution to the victory over Germany. Since 1943, partisan activities were centrally controlled. In the western regions of the Soviet Union, about 1.2 million partisans operated in approximately 6,200 detachments. During the war, the partisans derailed 10,000 locomotives, 110,000 railway cars, 12,000 bridges, 65,000 cars.

In May 1942, the Central Headquarters of the partisan movement was created in Moscow. The TsShPD coordinated the actions of partisan detachments, organized supplies for the partisans and the evacuation of the wounded to the mainland.

The partisan units were supplied by air, mainly by Li-2 aircraft. Thus, the aircraft of the 10th Guards Transport Aviation Division dropped more than 340,000 partisans and reconnaissance troops behind enemy lines. 52,000 tons of cargo were delivered to the partisans, and 44,000 wounded were evacuated back to the mainland.

Il-4 aircraft were also involved in transport operations, but to a much lesser extent than Li-2 and S-47. Before such flights, a platform was attached to the central ventral pylon of the bomber, on which various cargo could be transported, including 45-mm anti-tank guns and motorcycles with a sidecar. The platform with the cargo was covered with a plywood aerodynamic fairing, which reduced the drag of the cargo on the external sling. After landing, the fairing was easily removed from the platform.

The UDP-500 container was developed specifically for delivering goods to partisans. The bomb-shaped container could hold up to 500 kg of cargo. The IL-4 on the central pylon could carry three UDP-500 containers.

Specially converted Il-4 aircraft were used to supply partisans in 1943 - 1944. In most cases, flights deep behind enemy lines were carried out at night. Il-4s from the long-range bomber air regiments of the ADD also carried out flights to the partisans.

Analogs of Groza 021

The most famous analogue of Groza 021 is the Ukrainian Fort-12:

1. The components of the samples in question are almost identical - it was this that served as the basis for the Russian popular traumatoma.
2. The basis for the Vinnitsa development was the Czech models CZ-75 and CZ-83 - in particular, they formed the design of the trigger mechanism.
3. Its peculiarity is that it allows you to shoot both with self-cocking and with a pre-cocked hammer, which was successfully inherited by the Russian copy.
4. The barrels for the product in question were purchased in the Czech Republic until 2002; currently they are produced at the Fort NPO in Vinnitsa.

Sighting is carried out before using a new or repaired weapon. To do this, a target (diameter of at least 300 mm) is installed at a certain distance (about 5 meters). What kind of barrels does Groza-03 have?

This type of weapon has 4 barrel options. There is no point in dwelling on each in detail; they can be combined into two groups. The first will include 3 trunks, which are popularly called “toothed trunks.” They have a very primitive design: to limit the firing of live ammunition, two simple barriers are installed here. Three modifications of such a barrel, as a rule, changed in shape and size.

The most interesting option for buyers is the Groza-031 pistol. The barrel design here is based on the V4 and is called Evo; the engineers managed to improve all the performance characteristics of such a barrel. There are no barriers here. Firing with live ammunition is not allowed due to an interesting idea: the chamber and barrel are on different axes. But the main feature of such trunks is the longitudinal valleys, which are located inside the trunk to weaken it. The shooting performance with such a barrel is much more effective even than barrels with a smooth design.

When reviewing this weapon, some attention should be paid to the appearance of the muzzle. It looks like a full-fledged combat pistol

Of course, during an attack, the enemy most likely will not look at it, and it will not be possible to do this in poor lighting, but if you look at it carefully, the desire to attack will clearly decrease. Therefore, appearance also plays a certain role.

Design advantages

The reliable design of the revolver provides the ability to fire six guaranteed shots, regardless of the quality of the cartridges or the operation of the automation. Quick reloading of the revolver and continuation of continuous shooting is carried out through the use of clips (clips) of six cartridges each. Loading the revolver with six cartridges and removing six spent cartridges is carried out simultaneously by pressing one button on the revolver drum extractor. The revolver is equipped with two clips (clips).

The first shot after charging is possible using a pre-cocked hammer, as well as using self-cocking. The trigger mechanism is based on the double action principle.

The pistol can be upgraded. For this purpose, replaceable handles are used. They are made from different materials and also have different sizes. Thus, the pistol can be adapted to any shooter.

It should be noted that another characteristic feature of this model is weight reduction. It made it possible to achieve increased convenience when shooting, as well as simple operation and carrying.

To do this, engineers used special alloys made of reinforced materials (partially) to make the frame. Reinforced inserts are integrated into areas of the frame that are most often subject to increased loads. Weapon material

“Groza” is a pistol developed on the basis of service and combat weapons with a caliber of 9x17 and 9x18 mm. The assembly of these weapons is carried out using the same elements and parts that are used for service and combat types of pistols. The exception is the barrel, which is specially adapted for shooting rubber bullets.

The material from which the frame is made can be steel or polymer. This does not in any way affect the strength characteristics of the pistol. Most modern types of non-combat weapons are manufactured using polymer materials, which is justified for several reasons:

• this allows for a significant reduction in the weight of pistols;
• Comfort is achieved with constant wearing;
• the price of the product is greatly reduced;
• a polymer frame is more aesthetically pleasing;
• polymer frame makes it possible to use replaceable attachments on the handle and attachments;
• the polymer is not subject to corrosion;
• such a frame does not change its geometry when a compression force is applied to it, since it is more durable.

Responsibility for violations and obtaining permission to carry

It should be noted that the legislation of the Russian Federation, namely Article No. 222 of the Criminal Code, states that there is no criminal liability for improper implementation of the rules for carrying, storing and purchasing traumatic civilian weapons.

These violations are administrative and are punishable by a fine. In rare cases, administrative arrest.

Since the Groza-02 pistol is a civilian firearm with limited action (traumatic), a special license (permit) is required to purchase, carry and store it. Which is issued by supervisory authorities in a certain order.

The procedure for obtaining a permit to carry weapons:

• undergo a medical examination;
• collect and submit documents to the Department of Licensing and Permitting;
• undergo testing at a special training center;
• attend an appointment with the local police officer and obtain a permission signature from him;
• pay the state fee.

A medical examination includes a visit to a psychiatrist, narcologist, ophthalmologist and local therapist. Permits for traumatic weapons will not be issued to those who are registered in a psychoneurological or drug treatment clinic.

Examinations by an ophthalmologist are also not just for show.

To obtain a traumatic weapon, you need to collect and submit the following documents to the licensing department:

• application in the prescribed form indicating the type of weapon;
• photocopy of passport;
• certificate 046-1;
• 2 photographs size 3x4;
• referral to weapons handling courses;
• a receipt for payment of the state fee for permission to wear traumatic clothing;
• referral to the local police officer.

To obtain a certificate of completion of weapons handling courses, you must come with a referral in hand to a special training center. It teaches the skills of safe use of trauma for self-defense.

It is worth noting that not everyone will be able to obtain permission to carry a traumatic weapon. The following persons will receive a guaranteed refusal:

• under 18 years of age;
• with an outstanding criminal record;
• who were brought to administrative responsibility for violating public order;
• with significant deviations in mental and physical health.

The purchase of traumatic weapons should be approached with special care.

USM design

“Groza” is a pistol with a low-weight bolt-casing. Because of this, the weapon is equipped with rigid return springs, which are placed under the barrel on guides. To simplify operations with the shutter, a large-caliber notch is made on the sides at an angle. The trigger is made of a double-action type, with an open trigger, self-cocking. This is the optimal solution for such weapons.

The trigger of the pistol is made without a spoke, which usually protrudes beyond the edges of the bolt casing. This serves as a positive characteristic for such a compact weapon as the Thunderstorm pistol: reviews say that this design does not allow it to get caught on anything when removing it from a pocket or holster.

The safety in pistols of this series is located on the left side of the bolt and is switched by moving up/down. Models 02 and 03 have windage adjustable rear sight and front sight. The remaining pistols have non-adjustable open sights.

Series models

The Groza traumatic pistol is available in several modifications. While some models are intended for self-defense, others are used for sports and training shooting. Revolvers of the "Groza R" series

The Thunderstorm R-03 revolver is a copy of the R-02, with the exception of an elongated barrel. It was this change that led to an increase in impact characteristics. Although the Z-03 cannot be called the most powerful revolver, in some respects it has surpassed the previous version.

The R-04 is positioned as an accurate and fairly powerful revolver. Adjusting the sighting device in two planes allows you to achieve almost professional shot accuracy. This model is universal, as it is ideal for training, sports and as a means of self-defense.

The exceptionally sporty version “Groza R-06” is considered the most powerful among other models. It is not suitable for self-defense for the reason that carrying a weapon with a barrel length of 152 mm is inconvenient. This model is also the heaviest. The increased mass allows for targeted shooting, as it adds stability to the weapon.

The chamber is polished to a shine and strictly calibrated, and the magazines are adapted strictly to the thickness of the cartridge case of the 9mm RA traumatic action cartridge. By the way, the 0.4 mm difference in the distance between the jaws of the new and old magazine completely eliminated the possibility of the cartridge sticking into the upper part of the chamber. The manufacturer managed to take into account and quickly correct all the previous shortcomings of the first batches; now Groz pistols work reliably with any cartridges from the box. The accuracy and accuracy of the barrel is again close to the level of previous v4 barrels. Moreover, the EVO barrel significantly improves the performance of weak cartridges, especially those with soft balls.

Trunks

The provision of “Groza” pistols with barrels of different versions is due to the fact that the quality and performance characteristics are constantly improving and require new developments. Modifications of trunks differ in outer diameter and design:

• V1 – 11.5 mm.
• V2 – 12.5 mm.
• V3 – 12.5 mm with increased gap between teeth.
• V4 “OKO” – 12.5 mm. The barrel does not have pressed or welded teeth, which increases its service life. Elements that distinguish it from other modifications are longitudinal internal slots visible from the end of the barrel.

The name "OKO" is due to the fact that the barrel element - the non-coaxial drilling bushing - looks like an eye in the light, although it has a round channel that is slightly offset at the outlet and inlet. The chamber has no alignment relative to the axis of the barrel.

It is worth noting that the energy of the pistol depends on the length of the barrel: the longer, the greater the speed of the rubber bullet. Due to the elongated barrels, the Groza-03 and Groza-05 models have increased energy levels when firing.
