The LR-300 series rifles were developed around 2000 by designer Allan Zitta, who worked for the small American company ZM Weapons. These rifles were a further development of the concept of the M16 / AR-15 rifles, popular in the USA, externally differing from them primarily in the presence of a side-folding butt (on conventional rifles of the M16 / AR-15 series it is possible to install only a partially extendable telescopic butt). In fact, all the changes affected only the upper half of the receiver with the barrel, gas outlet and bolt group; the lower part of the receiver (with the trigger mechanism, magazine receiver and pistol grip) is standard for this type of weapon. The LR-300 series rifles were produced both in a “combat” version with the ability to conduct automatic fire and relatively short barrels, and in civilian self-loading versions. However, their sales were small due to the very high price (the civilian version of the ZM Weapons LR-300 rifle cost on average 2 times more than an AR-15 rifle in a similar configuration). Production of the LR-300 rifles was discontinued in 2006, and the license for their design was sold to the American division of the Canadian company Para-Ordnance, which in 2009 promises to release a slightly improved version of the LR-300 self-loading rifle under the designation Para USA "Tactical Target Rifle" "
The LR-300 series rifles use gas-operated automatics with a direct supply of powder gases inside the bolt frame (similar to M16 / AR-15), however, the gas tube is greatly shortened and has increased rigidity. Its rear end is actually suspended above the barrel inside the forend, and to the bolt frame an elongated tube is attached, which, when the bolt is in the forward position, is located on the gas outlet tube, forming a closed gas path from the hole in the barrel to the bolt frame. This solution, firstly, allows for the release of excess powder gases outside the receiver (inside the forend), and secondly, it allows the return spring to be placed around a tube connected to the bolt frame, inside the forend above the barrel. Thanks to the transfer of the return spring to the forend and the use of a bolt frame that was shortened compared to the M16 / AR-15 (the rotating bolt is identical to them), the rifle was able to install a side-folding butt. All weapon controls are identical to those on the M16/AR-15 rifles, and the magazines are also the same. Sights are mounted on an integral Picatinny rail type guide on the receiver; additional guides are also provided on the weapon's fore-end.
Description of the airsoft machine A&K LR-300 Short LR300S (6 mm)
An excellent electro-pneumatic model from the Chinese company A&K is a replica of the American LR-300 assault rifle.
In the production of the AiK LR-300 Short LR300S airsoft drive, only high-quality materials are used. The body of the airsoft A&K LR-300 Short LR300S is made primarily of light alloy metal. Everything is done very high quality and there are no even the slightest backlashes.
The price of the airsoft machine AiK LR-300 Short LR300S will please the eye of every buyer.
One of the features worth noting is the presence of a removable front sight. To remove it you need to unscrew several bolts. Under the front sight there is a Picatinny rail; it is quite small and you will have to choose the right size scope for it.
The handguard of the presented model is made of plastic. Inside the forend there is a cavity for installing a battery. The handguard is attached using two swivels.
At the bottom of the forend there are threads for installing a bar. You can install a flashlight, handle or laser laser on it.
The pistol grip is also made of plastic. Small notches on the body allow you to hold the A&K LR-300 Short LR300S assault rifle quite firmly in your hands.
The butt is metal. On its back side there is a plastic butt plate. With its help, recoil is reduced when firing a shot.
This stock is removable and can be easily removed and another one installed. In addition, it can be folded.
On the top of the receiver there is a 22 mm Picatinny rail, on which there is a flip rear sight with the ability to adjust vertically and horizontally. The rear sight can be removed and an optics or collimator can be placed on the free rail.
To make a shot, plastic balls with a caliber of 6 mm are used. Their initial speed with muzzle energy up to 3 J is 120 m/s.
Before firing, you need to load 120 balls into the bunker magazine.
You can buy the A&K LR-300 Short LR300S assault rifle in our store without obtaining a license.
To prevent any accidental discharge, the model has a non-automatic safety. Thanks to it, the safety of use increases several times.
Shooting can be carried out in automatic or semi-automatic modes. To switch between them, there is a small flag-type lever on the left side of the receiver.
The dimensions of the airsoft AiK LR-300 Short LR300S are quite compact. With a length of 810 mm, the weight is 3.5 kg.
Tests
The rifle's ability to maintain accurate shooting under extreme heat conditions was tested. A series of 5 shots was fired from a cold barrel, followed by 60 shots in one and a half minutes. Next, 5 accurate aimed shots were fired at the same target. A series of shots fired from a hot barrel hit the target exactly, and the accuracy was only slightly reduced compared to the result of the first series from a cold barrel. One of the reasons for such a high shooting accuracy of this rifle is the extremely smooth trigger; the rifle itself is highly maneuverable and flexible, providing quick aiming at the target. If the optical sight fails, you can continue shooting with a normal open sight. Recoil from the LR-300 is different from a standard AR-15 and feels less like a springy push and more like a light, quick impulse with only a slight rise in the muzzle, allowing you to maintain a quick aim for the next shot.
Description[edit]
The direct gas impact system used in the LR-300 is designed to solve the contamination problems of the traditional AR-15 direct gas impact system. The front recoil spring also allows for a folding stock, and the factory stock folds to the left. The rifle is also available with a fixed stock. Since its inception, the appearance has evolved and changed several times. [ citation needed

The LR-300MLs have flat-top receivers with Picatinny rails, allowing them to be used with several types of sighting systems. The trigger, forward assist, magazine release and bolt release are identical to those of the AR-15. The barrel has a 1:9 in (230 mm) twist ratio, is chrome lined, and the muzzle is equipped with a Phantom flash hider.
Promotion [edit]
Unlike the original AR-15 rifle design, the LR-300 has the ability to use a fully folding and adjustable skeleton stock. Most variants of the AR-15 rifle have a thick cylindrical recoil buffer tube, more properly called a receiver extension, that extends straight back about 20 cm (7.9 in) from the rear of the receiver, and the firearm cannot operate without it. This usually rules out the use of anything other than fixed or telescopic stocks. However, the LR-300 uses a front return spring, which eliminates the need to extend the receiver.
Gas system[edit]
The LR-300 uses a modified version of the AR-15's standard forward gas operating system, called the " delayed gas strike"
. [4]The gas key extends beyond its normal length (), entering the forend. The gas key contains a return spring that is secured between the front of the receiver and the collar on the front side of the gas key. The gas port is under the back of the gas block, the gases flow up rather than forward to the front of the gas block than up and back into the gas tube. The gas tube is approximately half the length of a standard AR-15 tube. The gas tube is always inside the gas wrench (minimum overlap is about 1 inch). This makes the area around the bolt much cleaner. Almost all gases exit the pistol through ports on the right side of the bolt carrier, and minimal leakage from the gas key into the fore-end area does not interfere with the operation of the pistol.
Upper [edit]
To accommodate the unique front buffer and gas shock system, the patented upper is taller and thicker than a standard AR upper. [4] The handrail has a removable top cover to allow access to the recoil spring system for disassembly. The charging handle is patented and has a more durable design to match the handlebar. [5]

History[edit]
The design was originally a short-barreled pistol version of the AR-15 used by Allan Zitta in target shooting competitions. It was later commercialized in 1996 under the name Master Blaster.
. [2] Zitta later developed it into a full-fledged rifle with a folding stock, and conversion kits were also offered for AR-15 rifles.
In 2008, the LR-300 was offered under the name Para Tactical Target Rifle
(
