Gas pistol Anix A 112 – high-speed CO2 pneumatics

The Anix A 112 is a pneumatic version of the Smith and Wesson pistol and looks like a Browning produced in the 1930s. The pistol has a classic layout, in which the cylinder and magazine are located in the handle, while being separate from each other. The weapon's center of gravity is significantly shifted forward, which reduces muzzle vibrations, improving shooting accuracy.

The original design provides high bullet speed and allows the model to be classified as one of the most powerful gas pistols. Thanks to the widespread use of metal alloys, the pistol does not have a toy-like appearance , unlike many modern large-sized copies. Let's take a closer look at its technical and operational properties.

Pistol parameters - passport specifications

The first sample A 112 was released more than 15 years ago. During this time, a number of changes occurred in the design of the pistol. You can find models of different years of manufacture on sale, so let’s look at their general parameters:

  • caliber – 4.5 mm;
  • initial bullet speed – 140-165 m/s. The latest versions of A 112 have the highest speed, amounting to 160-165 m/s;
  • magazine capacity – 15 balls;
  • weight (kg) – 0,980;
  • dimensions (mm) – 218 ? 140 ? 32;
  • energy source – CO2, in liquefied form in cylinders of 8 or 12 g;
  • type of bullets - steel or lead balls. The most widely used are copper-plated steel balls that are not subject to deformation;
  • material – the body is based on a zinc alloy, and the handle linings are made of plastic. The magazine is made of plastic, which does not particularly affect its durability - if handled carefully, the magazines last 1-2 years and are much cheaper than metal ones;
  • power – up to 7.5 J;
  • barrel type – smooth, steel;
  • type of descent - self-cocking only. The trigger is smooth and has a long stroke (10 mm). Trigger force – 3 kg;
  • safety type – non-automatic, push-button, blocks the movement of the barrel;
  • sighting devices are open type. The front sight is fixed, and the rear sight is adjustable;
  • possibility of installing sighting devices - the model can be equipped with a laser target. After an additional upgrade - a collimator sight;
  • manufacturer - JSC Anix Group, Russia;
  • price – 3300-3800 rub. A significant portion of pistols are now sold used. They can be bought 2-3 times cheaper than a new model.

Functional

If you believe articles from the network, it turns out that the A-112 Anix is the most powerful or, at least, is definitely in the top three for this indicator. There is some truth in such statements, and it’s not for nothing that the pistol is in the category up to 7.5 J.

The operating principle – a movable barrel – plays in favor of the power parameter; this mechanism is used in many pistols. But this does not make the mechanism lose its effectiveness - the mobility of the barrel during a shot minimizes gas leakage, and the shot is more powerful than its competitors. In combination with a smooth barrel and round bullets, the speed is within 160 m/s, which allows us to consider the A-112 one of the most powerful short-barreled guns in the world of pneumatics.

The rear sight can be adjusted in two planes. True, this part causes bewilderment for many owners, and they refuse to call the entire piece of hardware “adjustable with one self-tapping screw.” But no matter how it is, it does not interfere with shooting.

The fuse is two-position, the “off” position on the left is marked with a red stripe. To the right, accordingly, the “on” position, without a color strip. Experienced users recommend first practicing switching positions, otherwise, due to inexperience, you can jam the weapon.

The gas cartridge is located in the handle and is pierced using a pressure plug screw. The screwing itself does not cause any special problems, but sometimes it is quite difficult to puncture due to the thinness of the thread. Sometimes it breaks down, especially in the field, when your hands are shaking.

Many owners speak negatively about the pistol’s accuracy and accuracy. In general, according to statistics, smoothbores with a movable barrel do not have good accuracy, although they are powerful. When shooting at targets you won’t be able to take the lead, but when shooting at bottles it’s the best.

Device and circuit

Anix A 112 has an original operating principle of automation. The barrel plays the role of the trigger - pressing the trigger moves it forward, compressing the return spring. A break from the sear returns the barrel back, hitting the valve in the extreme position.

When you hit (press) the valve, a shot occurs, and the barrel pressed against the valve increases the tightness.

This leads to a significant reduction in gas leaks and directs more energy to accelerate the bullet. The force of the barrel hitting the valve is increased by an additional suspended weight.

Thanks to this scheme, a very high bullet speed is ensured, practically unattainable for models with a traditional operating principle. The absence of a blowback system reduces gas consumption per shot.

Variations

Over two decades, many varieties of pistols were produced. Let's look at the most famous of them.

A-112. Classic option. Everything said above applies to him. We can only add that up to 50 shots can be fired from one cylinder, without reducing power.

A-112L. The same as the classic version, only the laser laser is added. The laser characteristics are as follows:

  • The radiation has a wavelength of 630-680 mm.
  • The power of the emitted signal does not exceed 3 mW.
  • E11A elements are used as power supply.
  • Supply voltage 3-6 volts.
  • The light spot has a diameter of 5-10 mm.
  • Target designation is effective at a distance of up to 40 m. It all depends on the conditions under which the shooting takes place.

A-112 SPORT. A weakened version of the pistol under the 3 J required by law. The shot speed dropped to 130 m/s. You can fire up to 100 shots from one cylinder.

A-112L SPORT. The above model with the addition of a laser laser. The manufacturer tried to release another model, the A-112 LB, but this weapon did not reach the masses.

Incomplete disassembly and maintenance

Like most domestic weapon models, the Anics A 112 is much easier to disassemble than its foreign counterparts. The small number of parts distinguishes it favorably from the well-known examples of the German manufacturer, in which independent repairs or upgrades are difficult and risk breaking the pistol.

Anics A 112 disassembled

Procedure for partial disassembly:

  1. We remove the magazine from the handle and unscrew the cylinder. We take out the latter carefully so that it does not fly out under the influence of the outgoing carbon dioxide;
  2. unscrew the screws on the plastic cheeks of the handle and remove them. You may have to use force when removing it - try not to break the pads;
  3. Unscrew the nut holding the valve and remove it together with the gasket (in the place where the neck of the cylinder is fixed). As a handy tool, instead of a wide wrench, you can use the upper part of a thin file;
  4. Unscrew the screw from the muzzle, under the muzzle of the barrel. To unscrew it without problems, you need to stock up on a 3 mm hex key;
  5. knock out the cross pin at the rear of the bolt. The pin can be reached only from one side, which has a larger diameter;
  6. remove the bolt cover together with the valve system upwards. During the process, hold the spring so as not to lose it and avoid injury.

In the following article you can find a comparison of the characteristics of the Makarov air pistol of three models. Review of the price analogue of Anix - Makarov KWC pistol.

Detailed instructions for disassembling and assembling a Walter air pistol are here. Visual video guide.

Now you can start servicing the gun. Dirt is cleaned off with a toothbrush and wiped with an oiled rag. When cleaning the barrel, rags, oil and a copper-plated cleaning rod are used. Assembly is carried out in reverse order. To install the return spring correctly, use a flathead screwdriver and pliers when inserting the pin. Make sure that there are no unnecessary parts left after assembly.

Preparation for shooting and use

Before use, the magazine is charged with balls, and a carbon dioxide cylinder is inserted into the lower part of the handle. After this, the container is twisted until the sealed neck is punctured and it is completely sealed. Now the loaded magazine can be inserted into the handle, and the pistol can be removed from the safety catch.

You can get acquainted with the appearance of the model and the shooting features in the video:

Zeroing is best done at standard targets for pneumatic shooting. The shooting distance is 10 meters, although if you lack experience, it is recommended to place targets 5 meters from the shooter.

The balls flying out at high speed have high penetration properties and pass right through several beer cans placed in a row. When choosing a target location, make sure there are no people in the shooting direction. The pistol hits more powerfully and further than its closest analogues, so it can cause injuries even at a great distance.

Air pistol Anics A-112

Among the ever-popular gas-cylinder pneumatic pistols, the domestic model Anics A-112 (Anics) occupies a special place and has been among the sales leaders for many years.

Quite large and massive for a weapon of its class, with a somewhat conservative design, the Anix A-112 over the decade and a half of its existence has not lost its attractiveness for its owners, as well as for future owners.

The reasons for the success and high user demand of Anics A-112 are a number of competitive advantages and design and technical solutions that provide them. The most noticeable advantage of the 112th Anix is that this model was and remains the most powerful of all Russian-made gas-cylinder air pistols. Along with this, the Anix A-112 has a very simple but functionally effective design, a long service life as a result of the use of optimal materials in the manufacture, as well as a moderate cost, making the gun as affordable as possible for purchase. It should also be noted that the Anics A-112 became the next step in improving the products of Anics Group CJSC, which was originally created for the development and production of pneumatic weapons. In fact, Anix A-112 embodied the best structural, technological, ergonomic solutions implemented in the previous A-101 , A-101M , A-111 , while getting rid of the shortcomings identified in these models.

The basis of the design of the Anics A-112 air pistol is a movable barrel, weighted with a special weight, patented as an invention. The shot is fired as follows: pressure on the trigger causes the barrel to move forward and compress the mainspring. During the movement, when a special hole in the lower part of the barrel is aligned with the corresponding opening of the magazine, a spherical bullet is fed. Further, when the sear is triggered, the barrel is thrown back by the mainspring and produces a sharp blow to the valve with its back, providing a dosed supply of compressed carbon dioxide, which ejects the bullet from the barrel. The “ammunition” of Anix A-112, placed in the pistol grip, includes a standard twelve-gram canister of carbon dioxide and 15 steel 4.5 mm clad (copper-coated) bullets in the magazine.

Anics A-112 is a self-cocking pistol, that is, the mechanism is cocked solely due to the force of pressing the trigger. However, the required force is by no means excessive and amounts to approximately 3 kg. At the same time, it is the long, smooth descent that is especially preferable when learning to shoot and, in addition, in conditions of high-speed shooting, it allows one to achieve better results than with pistols that require pre-cocking the hammer. Anix A-112 is produced smoothbore, and this is positively reflected in two functionally important aspects. Firstly, this increases the initial speed and, therefore, the kinetic energy of the bullet. Secondly, the importance of perfectly matching the caliber of the bullet to the bore diameter is reduced. Thus, in pneumatic pistols with rifled barrels during high-speed shooting, only the first two shots can be guaranteed to be accurate: sudden cooling of the metal under the influence of liquefied carbon dioxide leads to the appearance of a gap between the bullets and the walls of the barrel and, if it is necessary to move in a spiral, to their significant spread relative to the intended trajectories. The Anics A-112, thanks to its elongated smooth barrel, shows good results in terms of accuracy and accuracy during serial shooting, and at distances that are technically inaccessible to other gas-cylinder “competitors.” The undoubted advantage of the Anix A-112 pistol is its tightness: the ability for a long time, while charged, to prevent the slightest gas leaks and remain in a state of full combat readiness for months. Safety of use is guaranteed by the presence of a push-button safety device, which reliably blocks any displacement of the movable barrel and the possibility of unauthorized pressing of the valve. The entire design of the Anics A-112, made of metal, including the entire body, except for plastic or wooden handle linings, is distinguished by high reliability, strength and durability. Hence the almost kilogram weight of the product - 0.98 kg without a loaded magazine. The sight is freely adjustable in both horizontal and vertical planes. In addition, there is the possibility of installing a laser target designator on the pistol, for example, on the Anics A-112L model.

To date, the pneumatic Anix A-112 exists in several (more than one and a half dozen) modifications, differing in barrel length (three versions), muzzle velocity (sports version with reduced speed), and handle lining material (plastic or wood). The features of the models corresponding to the modifications are reflected in the markings, where the letter M means a slight extension of the barrel, B – significant, S – sport, L – laser designator, and W – wooden handle linings.

Since its appearance, the Anics A-112 has earned respect not only among Russian but also foreign fans of air guns, and has repeatedly received detailed discussion in foreign specialized publications.

Repair and replacement of parts

Replacing gaskets in the gun is quite simple, but requires incomplete disassembly. The first sign of a decrease in tightness in the system is a clear “hissing” of gas and a decrease in the firing speed of the new cylinder.

Repair of trigger parts is rarely required and is sometimes necessary after careless handling of the weapon (when the pistol is hit or dropped). Replacing a damaged rear sight is a more pressing problem, since it is difficult to find on sale. Try to treat sights with care, as their performance critically affects shooting accuracy.
