The market for aerosol weapons that do not require a license has been actively developing recently. The time has long (and fortunately) passed when it was limited to the unreliable “UDAR-M2” and the inconvenient “Sorcerer” (the ill-fated “BAMER” is not even worth mentioning).
Now law-abiding citizens who do not want to get into potential trouble due to an unreported injury have much more choice. The maximum contribution to the range of APUs is made by Tula from “A+A”, who over the past five years have developed 5 completely new aerosols and large-caliber cartridges for them. One of these pistols – “Pioneer” – will be the subject of a review from the online store oboronashop.ru
#pioneer pistol #self-defense and safety #self-defense on the street
What is an aerosol gun?
First, let's look at this issue. You need to understand that “aerosol” does not mean “gas”. The APU (aerosol launching device) is simpler in design, uses completely different ammunition (mini-canisters with irritant and primer, BAM), and most importantly, it does not require a permit, as evidenced by the special certificate attached to the product by the manufacturer.
An aerosol bottle is a device that can have both a pistol (Premier, UDAR-M2) and arbitrary (Amulet, Magician) form. For self-defense with its help, you need BAMs, which can be charged directly into the device (as in Dobrynya), or into the barrel through a special clip. When you pull the trigger, the device somehow activates the ammunition, which releases a powerful stream of airborne droplets at the enemy. There are two methods of detonation:
- Electric - BAM
is equipped with a special electrosensitive capsule when a current discharge of a certain strength is applied to it. This principle has long been tested on injuries a la “OSA” from the Moscow Research Institute of Applied Chemistry and has shown itself to be generally more resistant to misfires. - Mechanical - BAM
has a classic capsule (“zhevelo” and the like), detonating from the impact of a striker of various designs. The advantage of this principle is autonomy, since striker-fired triggers do not require batteries or magnetic pulse generators (“dynamics”). And in general, mechanics are somehow closer and more understandable to Russian people - if something goes wrong, if you have direct hands, you can fix the weapon yourself.
So, a device is a device, and there are only two requirements for it - reliability
and
convenience
.
Everything else is tactical and technical characteristics, lethality, safety, misfires, etc. - this is already a matter of ammunition. #Russian weapons #weapons for self-defense #self-defense
Packaging and equipment
The first thing a buyer encounters is the packaging of the product. That is why this issue should be considered when reviewing the model. Packaging not only plays a protective role. The pistol package contains several items, with all the elements neatly placed in an orange box on which a photo of the purchased device is posted.
The box contains the gun itself and some of its components.
- The device is initially placed in a plastic bag.
- Although Pioneer does not require licensing, certificates or documents for it must be carried with you. The box contains a product passport.
- The clip, designed for two cartridges, is supplemented with a spare version.
- Each chamber can be equipped with an adapter, because the ammunition for the Pioneer has different dimensions. As a result, the kit includes 4 adapters.
What is innovative about the Pioneer APU?
As you know, “Pioneer” means “pioneer.” But what was so new that the Tula plant could offer the self-defense worker in this device to justify such a catchy name?
In fact, what is taking place here is not a technical breakthrough, but rather a successful symbiosis of two innovations previously tested in other pistols. You can joke with a clear conscience that “Pioneers are the children of workers”
. Working and proven Premier-2 and Dobrynya pistols, produced by A+A several years earlier.
- From the Premier,
the Pioneer adopted the external shape (a kind of double-barreled “derringer”, clearly similar to a small pistol) and dimensions, as well as a unique method of barrel-clip loading, which in fact turned out to be very convenient - the device can be reloaded quite quickly, the clips are comfortable to wear , less contact with the cartridges, which may contain irritant. - From Dobrynya,
the model under study inherited a well-thought-out and fairly reliable striker trigger. This means - no batteries (the version with a laser sight has a battery, but only the laser itself is powered from it; when the battery runs out, the weapon continues to perform its main function), better functioning in extreme conditions and a generally more trouble-free design.
Of course, the Dobrynev trigger was modernized, and significantly - the double-barreled design means two strikers, and the pistol has one trigger button. This required reworking the sear and introducing a cam switch into the design, which transmits the force from pressing the trigger alternately to the upper and lower barrel.
Of the pure design innovations in the Pioneer, perhaps the only one is a special niche for a spare clip in the handle. Compared to Premier-2, this solution turned out to be much more convenient for obvious reasons.
The device of this model
A small, neat device made of black plastic is made in the shape of a pistol, very convenient for both a man’s hand (where it can even be hidden unnoticed) and a woman’s. The trunks are located one above the other. At the top there is a bar with a front sight for aiming.
A completely new option is the presence of a special niche in the handle, where a spare clip with two cartridges is inserted.
The trigger is located in a classic way, under the barrel, it is framed by a special trigger guard - so that a spontaneous shot does not happen. After all, there is no fuse here. The trigger mechanism has main parts made of metal. It is reliable and does not allow misfires.
Appearance, ergonomics, operating features
“Pioneer” is a small flat pistol measuring 135x132x23 mm and weighing 157 grams (without BAMs, but with both clips). The handle and barrel are almost the same length, that is, the device is quite short.
The body of the device is made of plastic. Of course, this may seem like a minus to some, but the designers could not do otherwise - if the Pioneer had been metal, it would have been much easier to convert it into a traumatic pistol, and not a single state inspection would have allowed this. And in general, most aerosols and related devices are made of plastic, with the exception, perhaps, of the obsolete “UDAR-M1” and a couple of modifications of the “shooting pens” PU-2.
To the credit of the manufacturer, the plastic used is high-quality, does not stain or smell, is quite durable and thick - it can only be broken intentionally. This material honestly copes with all the loads for which the Pioneer is intended. The components are connected to each other by metal pins.
#pioneer #weapons #review
But the “filling” of the device is made of metal. If you disassemble the gun ( read below
), you will find wear-resistant steel parts, high-quality springs (there are already eight of them in the gun!). Those elements of the mechanism that are subject to increased wear - strikers, sears, cam gear - are made of steel and coated with an anti-corrosion compound, the clip stopper is also metal, which prevents breakage and ejection of the clip along with the shot. In general, there are no questions here.
The Pioneer was conceived as a “unisex” weapon, so the handle has average dimensions. It is convenient to hold it for people with plus or minus average-sized palms, but for very fragile young ladies or especially “handy men” it is better to think about other APUs - for example, “Amulet” and “Dobrynya”.
The sighting device is a classic non-adjustable rear sight and front sight. In general, there is no special need for it at all - hitting a target from 3-4 meters is already not difficult, and for natural snipers there is a version of the “Pioneer” with a laser target.
#aerosol gun
The shot is fired by pressing a button located in the same way as the trigger on conventional pistols, which is convenient and intuitive. The release is quite smooth, pressing does not require much effort, which makes it easier for girls to use the device - with Dobrynya, for example, problems may arise in this sense.
So, to use Pioneer, you need to:
1.
Press the clip stopper on top of the barrel and remove the cassette (in the factory configuration, two adapters for BAM 13x50 are already inserted into the clip), remove the adapters.
2.
Insert two 18x51 mm ammunition into the cassette, nozzle forward, until it stops.
3.
Place the clip in the barrel and press it lightly but firmly until you hear a characteristic click.
In this way, the strikers are pre-cocked - they move slightly back, and the spring takes a position in which it can be lowered by the sear. It is the pre-assembly that causes an easy descent and the absence of flinching before the shot, thanks to which the Pioneer does not lose sight. But it is worth noting that the clip should not be inserted too sharply, with a blow - this can lead to the primer being pierced with all the ensuing consequences, or rather, flying into your hand, consequences.
4.
Do the same with the reserve clip - it is inserted into the handle. Of course, the device works without it. However, holding the pistol will be less convenient, since structurally the outer part of the cartridge plays the role of the lower part of the handle.
5.
Point the muzzle towards the target and press the button twice. The cam gear will direct the pressing force first to the upper and then to the lower barrel.
6.
Press the stopper again and remove the clip with empty BAMs. Pry the stopper and remove the reserve magazine from the handle.
7.
Repeat from point 1.
As you can see, nothing revolutionary - you can figure it out in a few minutes.
Operating principle
- The clip loaded with cans is inserted into the barrel - you must wait for the clicking sound.
- The top cartridge fires first, the bottom cartridge fires second (it cocks automatically).
- At the moment of firing, when the trigger guard is pressed, the firing pin mechanism is activated. It acts on the capsule of the corresponding canister, igniting it.
- A stream of active substance (irritant) flies out.
- After firing both canisters, the device must be recharged by removing the spare charged clip from the handle and inserting it instead of the used one.
What does the Pioneer shoot?
One of the main advantages of the model, as stated, is multi-caliber. He, like a real pioneer who stayed in the camp for the third shift, will eat everything he finds, even semolina in the dining room. In total, 4 types of ammunition are suitable for the device - branded 18x51, 13x50, 13x60 and threaded.
BAM 18x51 mm - the main type of cartridges
The ammunition was manufactured by A+A specifically for the Dobrynya pistols, and the Pioneer was already developed for them. This is a unique ammunition in many ways.
- More active ingredient. Each BAM is 4 ml of irritant, which ensures the most abundant flooding of the target - your opponent's face - and a wide contact patch, sometimes exceeding 45 cm in diameter! It is clear that the more substance, the more pure capsaicin your opponent will get, even if you miss and hit him, say, in the chest.
- Powerful pyrocharge and new reinforced piston. To push out a larger amount of irritant, a more powerful explosion is needed, which is logical. A well-developed piston system and a carefully centered nozzle make it possible, plus or minus, to accurately hit a target from a distance of 4-5 meters or more, and the influence of wind in this case can be neglected - the jet is so powerful and swift.
- New requirements for reliability. BAMs are equipped with polymer sleeves, which means they are not afraid of rust and are less prone to various cracks and chips than ordinary sheet metal - for example, like on the Black Widow. In addition, they withstand shock loads better, do not depressurize, and their ideal geometry means easy loading of the cartridge into the clip.
two types of ammunition available for sale
of this standard size - simply pepper and pepper-tear ("Hornet"), both produced by "A+A". As a pepper component in both BAMs, a new OS based on 95% capsaicin was used, respectively, a pure Tc coefficient: 1%, which is the legal maximum for civilian BAMs. But Hornet also contains the lachrymator Algogen, also known as dibenzoxazepine or simply CR. This substance is known for its harshness and speed of action - it significantly brings the neutralization of the aggressor closer, enriches the spectrum of effects of “pepper pepper” with sharp, shocking pain, spasms of the eyeballs and eyelids, which contributes to the blindness of the aggressor.
In general, the only disadvantage of 18x51 ammunition, in the opinion of oboronashop.ru experts, is their small variety. Of course, with the release of Hornet (and forum users have been asking A+A for diversification since the release of Pioneers on the market), the choice has become a little larger. However, the model line clearly lacks, for example, BAMs with water or paint - for training - as well as blank repellent cartridges - taking into account the increased volume of the cartridge case and pyrocharge, in this caliber they would be simply deafening!
BAM 13x50 and 13x60 – proven classics
13x50 and 13x60 mm are probably the most popular type of aerosol ammunition. They are produced by Tula “A+A”, and Nizhny Novgorod “Fortuna”, and Kirov “Mayak”, and God knows who else. Options are available for sale: with pure pepper, pure algogen, OS+CR, OS+CS, CS+CN (fast-acting composition “Lilac” and “Bird cherry”), noise, with water, paint and even confetti!
There are many types of cartridges, but their design is almost identical, the difference is in quality and price. Ammunition also differs in the case material - for example, for the UDAR-M2 this is a critical moment; it is better to load it exclusively with plastic BAMs in order to reduce the load on the magazine spring. In the case of Pioneer, you should be guided only by the reliability and efficiency of the composition.
According to the tests of “Oborona.Shop”, the best turned out to be BAMs produced by “A+A” and “Fortuna” - we recommend using Tula pepper BAM.OS.000, pepper-algogenic “Cobra” or single, as well as those that have long been known and popular in Russia Nizhny Novgorod cartridges “Black Widow” and “Tarantula”, with tear compounds.
Their advantages are a small percentage of misfires, reliability, proven effect. Although such ammunition contains only 2.2 ml (in the case of caliber 13x60 - 3 ml) of irritant, they are almost two times inferior to BAM 18x51 in power, contact patch diameter (up to 15-20 cm) and range - a maximum of 3 meters. However, this type of ammunition is significantly cheaper, which makes it an excellent choice for training.
For BAMs of such calibers, the Pioneer kit includes four special adapters - they are a kind of cartridge case from an 18x51 cartridge, with holes on both sides. To load a blank BAM or Tarantula into a Pioneer clip, you must first insert it into this adapter, otherwise the trick will not work.
Threaded ammunition
And the last type of cartridges for “Pioneer” are special charges for M9 thread, for example “Hunter Signal” or “THUNDER”. Two special adapters are also included in the kit. These adapters have a more sophisticated design than those for BAM 13x50 - they have a firing pin extension that ensures uninterrupted pinning of the primer.
Unfortunately, due to the peculiarities of the mechanism (limited by the length of the clip and the dimensions of the cartridge), the BAM.R.OS 18x60, the most powerful of the pepper cartridges used in the PU-3 or the Magician, is not suitable for the Pioneer. Also, you should not charge “Pioneer” with “Hunter Signal” models from third-party manufacturers
– in this device, only the Tula “Signal” in a plastic sleeve, slightly longer than its analogues, works correctly – other charges very often misfire, since the firing pin does not reach the primer.
- The Hunter Signal is a kind of miniature signal flare designed to attract the attention of rescuers and exchange conditional information in nature. The rocket is launched 30-50 meters upward, is clearly visible both at night and during the day, has an impressive smoke trail and generally looks quite impressive, due to which it is also used for entertainment purposes. The box includes 5 charges of red, yellow and green - 15 pieces in total.
- GROM is objectively the best repellent cartridge for aerosols. In terms of volume, it is not inferior to idle BAM.X 13x50 (about 120-125 dB according to our tests), but at the same time it also produces a serious flame, about 15-20 cm!
Please note: Russian technologies in the field of air defense are extremely difficult to surpass. Who is trying to do this?Add to this the external resemblance of the “Pioneer” to a firearm – and you get a hastily retreating Gopnik!
Both types of threaded charges should be used with caution, not pointed at the face; flammable objects are, after all, pyrotechnics, and quite powerful ones at that.
Video with field tests of Pioneer pistols:
Tactical and damaging characteristics.
After studying the device, you can talk about the principle of operation of the aerosol gun. After pressing the trigger, the firing pin cocks itself. At the same time, it is activated. The drummer hits the primer of the topmost cartridge. The capsule breaks due to impact. At this time the piston begins to move. Jets of self-defense agent - irritant - fly out of the muzzle hole.
When organizing a work process, you have to work with different people. Conflict situations also occur. Sometimes they start making threats. It was for such cases that I bought the gun. I don't think I'm going to shoot a person. But I think one shot upward will be enough to put the troublemakers out of their place.
At first glance, many aerosol guns are similar in design and operation. Therefore, it can be difficult to decide on your own which aerosol gun is better - Pioneer or Dobrynya. To choose a specific model, you need to analyze for what purposes and in what cases you need a self-defense weapon.
This is not a matter of handling, but of the reliability and reliability of the device. As you know, the more parts there are in a mechanism, the higher the risk of device failure. A can is just 2 parts, a bulb and a valve. Before purchasing, I licked the nozzle - if the tongue does not sting, it means the valve is not poisoning, you can wear it. And these devices have a lot of parts. Firstly, the drummer can miss the capsule.
Advantages and disadvantages, comparison with “Dobrynya” and “Premier-2”
Let's summarize all of the above in a more visual form.
What is good about the
Pioneer ?
- Small dimensions, universal ergonomics, suitable for both sexes.
- Convenient and very simple control - no fuse, no additional buttons. Although pre-cocking makes handling somewhat more difficult, it reduces the force of pressing the trigger.
- Fairly fast reloading, intuitive muzzle-clip system. Space for storing a spare clip is provided in the design; both magazines are included in the factory configuration.
- Overall, a reliable and misfire-proof system with a well-designed metal mechanism.
- It operates without batteries thanks to the striker-fired trigger; in the version with laser center, the battery lasts almost forever; in addition, it is possible to replace it independently.
- The most powerful aerosol cartridge 18x51 - 4 ml of composition, two versions of the toxic substance, 5 meters of range.
- Possibility of firing thirteen-gauge ammunition and threaded charges “THUNDER” or “Hunter Signal”, adapters do not need to be purchased, they are included in the kit.
- High-quality polymer body, discreet but quite respectable appearance, universal matte black color.
- Externally similar to a mini-combat pistol, which gives a particularly strong deterrent effect when equipped with a laser target designator.
But, of course, the device also has disadvantages:
- The magazine's small capacity is only 2 shots, after which the device must be recharged, which takes some time.
- Pre-cocking slightly slows down reloading - Premier-2 with a similar clip loads faster.
- The handle is not comfortable for people with too small or too large hands.
- A spare clip must be stored in the handle, otherwise the device is not comfortable to hold. Moreover, if not BAMs, then at least empty adapters must be loaded into it - without them, the clip does not hold well and falls out.
- The sighting device merges with the body of the device. To make aiming easier, the inside of the rear sight can be tinted with light paint or nail polish.
- The release key has a large hole into which your index finger can accidentally get caught.
- There are no “native” BAMs of 18x51 caliber in blank version; noise ammunition available on the market must be loaded through adapters.
Let’s compare the “Pioneer” with its closest competitors of a similar caliber, the “Dobrynya” and “Premier-2” devices (“Premier-4” is not taken into account due to the four-round clip and a different principle of shot control):

Possible modifications to Pioneer aerosols, assembly and disassembly
There are several options for modernizing the Pioneers. The simplest one is tuning the handle. On the Internet you can purchase several options for handle linings - leather or rubber, which improve the appearance and ergonomics of the device, contribute to a tighter grip and a confident hold. This is especially true for men with large palms.
Self-installation of laser center
Structurally, the “Pioneer” with and without a laser is completely identical, except that a small circuit with a battery is attached to the inside of the top cover. The laser beam comes out of this cover from the side, so you don't have to remove the front sight of the device. Unfortunately, Tula does not produce individual caps from A+A; you can only purchase a whole modernized Pioneer. However, they are produced by third party manufacturers. Since this device is practically not connected with the trigger and combat units of the pistol, the quality of the device does not play a big role. In case of failure, the device will still be suitable for self-defense.
To install a new cover with the laser center, you need to remove the pin in the breech of the device - push it with a knitting needle or needle, and then pull it out from the opposite side with pliers. We easily remove the entire cover, replace it with an analogue, attach the movable tongue to the back of the release button, insert it until it clicks, and install the pin in place. Now, before firing, if you press the trigger halfway, the target will be illuminated with a bright laser marker, which will facilitate self-defense at night or in poor visibility conditions.
You can clearly see the process here:
Elimination of pre-cocking
With the help of the most complex modernization, the need for pre-cocking of the Pioneer can be eliminated. That is, your pistol will shoot the same way as the Dobrynya - you will not need to put any effort into inserting the clip, but the trigger will be harder to press. In this way, you can almost completely eliminate misfires, especially when using non-original ammunition, undershot primers and other troubles.
The operation will require complete disassembly of the device, great care, straight hands and some tools - pliers, several pieces of wire, a small file or needle file. Keep in mind that after such manipulations, “Pioneer” will no longer be accepted by the manufacturer under warranty!
1. Push the pin into the breech with a knitting needle and remove it with pliers. Remove the entire top cover.
2. Make two small hooks from wire or paper clip. We take out the clip and press on one of the firing pins with a knitting needle or a screwdriver from the side of the barrel so that it moves to the rearmost position. We hook the striker from behind to the hole in it and secure the wire. We repeat the procedure with the second striker.
3. We take out the second pin - at the base of the Pioneer handle.
4. Press the shutter button as far as possible and at the same time pull out the entire trigger. This should be done with extreme care, since the mechanism contains many small springs that can fly apart. It's best to stock up on magnets in advance.
5. Remove the front part of the mechanism by removing the springs of the release key.
6. There is one more pin left in the trigger body - take it out and remove the spacer sleeve.
7. Inside you will find a cam gear and two L-shaped sears. They need to be removed.
8. Our ultimate goal is to make a cut in the inner part of the letter “G”, literally by 1-1.5 mm - so that the sear will better engage with the triangular transfer pin. We do this with a file, as carefully as possible, constantly applying the part to its destination.
9. After the cut is ready, we assemble the trigger in the reverse order, mount it in the “Pioneer” and insert the pins into place.
You can clearly see the complete process of disassembly, modification and reassembly in this video:
Alteration for injury
Separately, I would like to highlight this, unfortunately, popular topic. Gentlemen, be prudent - nothing good will come of such handicraft!
Of course, traumatic cartridges have a similar caliber - models such as 13x45T (difficult, but inserted through an adapter), 410x45 Rubber, 18x45T or .380 GUM. It would seem that nothing could be simpler - you just need to polish the clip and secure it properly (for example, screw it in with self-tapping screws, yeah) - and have fun!
In fact, home-grown kulibins often simply break their device in the process, or it becomes unusable from excessive loads after the first two or three shots - the clip or body cracks, the feeder spring breaks due to strong recoil. But this is still the best case scenario! At worst, the device breaks right in your hands or breaks when it is really needed - during an attack by ill-wishers. You need to understand that traumatic cartridges are much more powerful, have a larger charge of pyrochemicals, and give recoil - the Pioneer design is simply not designed for such loads!
The online store
“Defense SHOP” categorically does not recommend its clients to carry out any manipulations with “Pioneer” - it is pointless, dangerous and illegal!
In accordance with paragraph 4 of Article 223 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, handicraft modification and production of gas and aerosol weapons and ammunition is punishable by a minimum of 480 hours of correctional labor, a maximum of two years of imprisonment and a fine of up to 80,000 rubles! This is also the case if your ersatz injury does not injure or kill anyone.
Analogs
You can name other aerosol devices from the same Tula manufacturer. So, the “Premier” model immediately comes to mind, also conveniently charged through the muzzle, having the first version for two charges. However, the difference between Premiere is that it runs on a battery, which is less reliable. And the Pioneer has a good mechanical striker mechanism.
The “Dobrynya” has the same mechanism, which differs from the “Pioneer” in its less compact size and less fast charging system (through the top hole). But it can be equipped with five BAMs at the same time - this is its advantage.
Accessories for Pioneer - which ones are available and what to choose?
“Pioneer” is perhaps the richest aerosol in terms of holsters and other devices for carrying the device itself and ammunition for it. There are really a lot of accessories available for it, and choosing the best one for you will not be so easy.
The classic is a regular leather holster, suspended from the belt by means of a pad at the back. This accessory is made of soft leather and has a button clasp - the pistol handle protrudes outward, which allows you to feel it blindly and sharply pull the weapon out. In high-quality models, the fastener has an accelerator rivet - by prying it with your finger, you can quickly unfasten the fastener.
A looser option is a holster with a brace. Identical to the classic, but has a steel clip instead of a lining. It is convenient to snap it, for example, onto the elastic band of pants or shorts, the strap of a bag, backpack, and it is quite suitable for the same belt. In general, you can take weapons with you regardless of your wardrobe and time of year.
The most hidden method of carrying is the operating system. It is a holster attached to a belt harness that is worn under clothing. A great option for winter or under a formal suit. You can pretend that you are reaching into your inner pocket to give the gopnik your wallet, phone and all the other loot, and then - bam! - You suddenly grab your gun! Beauty.
"Defense SHOP"
recommends paying special attention to the new product - molded holsters for the Pioneer. They began to be produced only recently, but those of our employees who are armed with “Pioneers” immediately switched to them! Such holsters are made of durable, thick gun leather and are clearly shaped to fit the contours and specific use of this particular aerosol canister. In fact, such a holster is in no way inferior to accessories for combat pistols - the same elite material (apparently, it is made from a single piece of genuine leather!), high-quality firmware, cool fittings. For reinforcement, the seams are not only stitched, but also riveted in the most flimsy places - the accessory is designed to last for decades! “Pioneer” “enters and exits” as smoothly as possible, but at the same time it stays securely inside.
Molded holsters are available in two versions - with a belt pad and with a clip, otherwise they are identical. This is the choice of users who do not tolerate compromises!
In addition, the so-called “Butterfly” is suitable for the “Pioneer” - a universal holster for all aerosols. It will be a good solution if you have several automatic control systems or, for example, “Pioneer” and “Antidog” from the Research Institute of Chemical Processing. The “butterfly” is more comfortable for the user in a sitting position, since the pistol handle is slightly angled. Therefore, it is often chosen by drivers, watchmen, night watchmen, and so on.
And another universal accessory is a bag for concealed carry. It is made of textiles and looks no different from a simple men's shoulder bag. The “trick” of this carrying device is that you can put not only the Pioneer inside, but also a couple of spare clips for it, several BAMs in random order, a device passport, and also adapters!
In addition to the niche in the handle, the clip for the Pioneer can be carried separately, on the belt - for this purpose a special leather pouch with a lining on the back is available. Convenient if, for example, you prefer to carry several clips.
Well, individual ammunition can be placed in a special cartridge belt for large-caliber BAMs - it can hold five 18x51 or 13x50 cartridges in adapters.
In addition to the Pioneer, you can purchase: a spare clip, threaded adapters or 13x50 mm adapters - all of this is produced.
SELF-DEFENSE. WHAT DEVICE IS BETTER FOR SELF-DEFENSE: DOBRYNA OR PIONEER? (IMHO)
Currently, the choice of weapons for self-defense is quite large and it is difficult to correctly understand the offered options if you do not have an idea of the types of self-defense means and their features. Gas pistols are very effective weapons. However, with all the advantages, they also have their disadvantages.
Our specialists are ready to advise on all questions in more detail: to do this, leave a request, call us or write to the chat!
I preferred the dobrynya, since it reloads quickly and you can shoot with another cartridge. I load 2 blanks for warning and 3 pepper ones for self-defense.
