    Grinding and polishing tank pipe

    rifles inside, in places where the seals of the following elements are adjacent:

    1.

    The front plug (for understanding, this is the one on which the pressure gauge is located) - there is 1 elastic band on the front plug, which prevents air from leaving the tank in the front part, closer to the pressure gauge.

    2.

    The gearbox is located inside and cannot be seen from the outside. There are 2 rubber bands on the outside of the gearbox housing - one prevents air from escaping from the reservoir to the outside, and the other prevents air from escaping from the gear space to the outside.

    3.

    The rear plug has 1 rubber band that prevents air from escaping from the tank in the rear part, closer to the receiver.

    To keep air tightly in the rifle tank, the seal must fit as tightly as possible to the walls of the tank and the seats on the plugs and on the gearbox. Otherwise, air will escape from one side.

    Leaks occur due to poor quality or worn rubber and poor surface quality.

    To correct these problems, I sand and then polish these surfaces.

    The photo below shows my work grinding and polishing the inner surface of the pipe:

    Refinishing the tank pipe from the inside, as you might guess, solves the problem of blue arrow number 2 - the rubber seal fits as tightly as possible to the polished surface of the pipe without any small cracks, scratches, roughness and other defects that were used by air to get past the rubber.

    Refinement of the pipe inside is carried out in the places where the seals fit - 1. the front plug, 2. the rear plug and 3. the gearbox - in the depths of the pipe. The photo shows only the modified area for the front plug.

    Now let's take care of blue arrow number 1 - seats on the front and rear plugs. The principle is the same - you need the tightest possible fit and absence of defects

    Now let's deal with the tightness of the seats on the gearbox. All surface defects must first be eliminated.

    And below is the final polishing and careful installation of the proven lubricated seals:

    Grinding and polishing the striker

    Affects smoothness, softness of cocking and speed stability. Reduced wear on the receiver shaft.

    After modification, the cocking is much more pleasant and quieter, the stability of the bullet’s departure speed is improved, since the firing pin hits the valve more uniformly, because when moving forward it “chucks” less and “clings” with its small roughness, it glides easier, the friction of the firing pin on the shaft is reduced, the probability of jamming.

    Due to the grinding of the firing pin inside, the vibration when the mainspring is decompressed inside is reduced, making it easier for it to slide inside the firing pin.

    Reworking the gearbox

    Grinding and polishing the inner surface of the gearbox

    — This area has direct contact with the piston head seal, we achieve maximum tight fit, tightness and reduced friction of the seal. Clean, lubricate.

    Grinding the inner edges of disc springs. The springs sit on the piston, and during operation they slide a little along its rod; this type of work is carried out to make their operation smoother and more uniform, to reduce friction. Mandatory - cleaning and lubrication, assembly without dust particles and hairs. The PCP pneumatic gearbox is a capricious mechanism; any hair can become a problem for its operation. In some cases, the springs are not polished - this is decided locally depending on their condition.

    Refinement of the chamfer of the filling port

    The rubber bands of the fitting are not cut, they wear out less, the fitting is inserted more smoothly. We remove the “sharpness” of this node. It's quick, cheap and easy to do, so it's better to do it right away.

    In order to fill the rifle, you need to move the lid next to the pressure gauge forward, sometimes it opens very hard, with rattling and jamming - I solve this problem, the opening is softer, smoother and more pleasant.

    In case of maintenance of the bush rifle, the magazines are cleaned

    Alteration of the input and output chamfer of the barrel

    When necessary (sometimes not necessary, depending on the specific type of rifle), I rework the input and output chamfers of the rifle barrel + grinding.

    Refining the entrance chamfer also sometimes makes it easier to correctly place the bullet on the rifling without deforming it.

    It can significantly improve accuracy if the original chamfers caused damage or deformation of the bullet, and could also deflect the bullet due to improper exit from the rifling.

    Solving problems with the cricket drum magazine not being rotated enough

    Cricket drum undershoot

    A common occurrence is that when cocking, the magazine does not rotate to the desired position and when closing the rammer (we move the rammer forward), the nose of the rammer sticks into the side of the chamber. This is not good, I'm fixing it. The rammer will clearly hit the center of the chamber without sticking into the edges of the magazine.

    The fact is that in some crickets, during operation (we cock, close the lever), the axle begins to climb up without permission; this does not happen often, but it does happen. So that my clients do not have problems with this, I immediately make sure that this does not happen.

    Cricket produces e-cigarettes designed for regular smokers accustomed to high nicotine content. This is the strongest product.

    How to use it correctly
