Hello everyone and welcome to aces.gg! Tankers and tankmen, today we will talk about a vehicle whose complexity of name already strikes fear into the hearts of the enemy, the German fourth-tier medium tank - this is the Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J guide
.
This car is not very popular or powerful, but nevertheless, its parameters have something to catch the eye. To play Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J World of Tanks
worthy and quickly reach the next tank along the line - Pz. III/IV, you need to understand the characteristics, equipment and combat tactics.
TTX Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J
Speaking about the simplest and most obvious parameters, it is worth noting that in comparison with its classmates, our German has an absolutely standard safety margin and a slightly weak basic visibility of 330 meters.
The issue of survivability of this device is very interesting, but I’ll say right away, don’t expect much. So, let's start with the fact that in the forehead of the turret of the Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J characteristics
reservations are the most serious. There's a large 50mm, slightly rounded gun mantlet, followed by another 30mm of main armor. In general, you can catch ricochets from some classmates, but generally such armor protects a maximum from third-level equipment.
Oddly enough, the thickest part of the Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J WoT
after all, it is not the gun mantlet area, but the commander’s turret on the roof, which has as much as 90 millimeters of armor, which is very good.
The frontal projection of the body is also interesting because there is a screen. But in general, the medium tank Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J
it penetrates into the forehead of the hull very easily, and again, if there are ricochets and non-penetrations, it is mainly from lower-level equipment.
It is quite obvious that the sides of our tank are even more vulnerable, including the Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J World of Tanks
Literally every enemy encountered will penetrate, no matter what level it is, that is, the side must always be hidden. What can we talk about if even the stern is stronger than the sides of the car.
While our German’s security and thickness of armor are very mediocre, mobility can easily be called his strong point. The maximum power at our disposal is excellent, we develop it quickly due to the excellent dynamics and even maneuverability of the Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J tank
I received a very good one.

gun
Armament is considered the main component of any tank, this is true, but in our case the gun is not as good as we would like, now you yourself will understand what we are talking about.
So, the Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J gun
has low one-time damage, but this disadvantage is partly compensated by the high rate of fire, we get the opportunity to inflict about 1680 units of damage per minute, this is not much, but not a lot.
There are significant problems in terms of penetration, that is, by Pz.Kpfw armor-piercing shells. III Ausf. J tank WoT
can fight normally with classmates, but already with opponents of the fifth level serious problems begin; we cannot even punch heavy weights into the side, let alone the sixth levels. Now we mean that it is important to have at least 20 sub-calibers with you, otherwise the battles at the bottom of the list will be a living hell for you.
Our accuracy by ST-4 standards is not the worst, but there are much more comfortable guns at the gun level. So, Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J World of Tanks
has a large scatter and rather weak stabilization, however, our convergence speed is good.
In addition, I would like to separately note the vertical aiming angles of the German medium tank Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J
capable of lowering the gun by 10 degrees in the frontal projection, by 9 in the side projection, and by 8.5 in the rear projection.

Advantages and disadvantages
To play effectively on this and any other tank, you need to clearly understand its strengths and weaknesses, and also learn to use your knowledge for its intended purpose. To all owners of WoT Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J
It was easier to navigate, let’s highlight its pros and cons separately. Pros: • Excellent mobility (maximum speed, dynamics, maneuverability); • High rate of fire and decent DPM; • Good accuracy; • Comfortable vertical aiming angles. Cons: • Mediocre booking; • Small one-time damage; • Poor penetration parameters; • Insufficient viewing range; • Frequent crits of the ammunition rack (located behind the tracks).
Combat use[ | ]
The Lukhsa troops began to enter service in the fall of 1942. It was planned to equip one company with these tanks in the reconnaissance battalions of tank divisions. However, very few Wehrmacht formations received new tanks, since the number of vehicles produced was small. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 116th and training tank divisions, as well as the SS Totenkopf tank division, received tanks. The Lukhs were used in these formations until the end of World War II. In some parts, the frontal armor of the tank was reinforced with additional 20 mm armor plates. A similar reinforcement was carried out in the 4th Reconnaissance Battalion of the 4th Tank Division.

Equipment for Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J
Here is a very interesting device with good combat potential, but still it is a little lacking in strength and this can be corrected by installing additional modules. To get the most out of the Pz.Kpfw tank. III Ausf. J equipment
should be set in this form: 1. – increasing the damage per minute is very important and as you know, this is done by increasing the rate of fire. 2. – it would not be superfluous to increase the accuracy of our weapon, and this can only be done by accelerating the aiming. 3. – with the help of this module you can solve all problems with visibility and gain an advantage over the enemy, but you will have to stop more often, and therefore it will be more suitable for someone, because our tank is very mobile.
But if for some reason you do not want to give preference to visibility, instead of the third item you can install it on the tank, which will make firepower and accuracy even higher, and also give a small increase to the viewing range.

Crew training
You cannot ignore the tankers sitting inside the tank, since the degree of their training greatly affects your capabilities in battle. To properly distribute skills, you need to give preference to increasing survivability, boosting general characteristics and making the shooting process more comfortable, that is, for Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J perks
we teach the following: • Commander – , , , . • Gunner – , , , . • Driver mechanic - , , , . • Radio operator – , , , . • Charger – , , , .

Tactics of playing Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J
You shouldn’t expect anything supernatural from this German, and he certainly won’t “play for you” like some tanks in our game. But still Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J World of Tanks
capable of great achievements, especially when the situation is favorable and you manage to realize its advantages while hiding its shortcomings.
The main truth is that this device is very dependent on what kind of battle it gets into. If we are talking about the battle at the top of the list, for the Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J tactics
may involve active actions. You must use your mobility when entering combat, play from the tower and make the most of the high rate of fire. In other words, in an ideal top, the car shows itself to be strong and in capable hands is capable of influencing the outcome of the battle.
But even when the German medium tank Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J
I’m forced to deal with level five technology, problems begin, not to mention level six. We often do not have enough penetration, which is why we have to shoot with gold, the damage we deal is more noticeable, the safety margin is often not enough and weak armor cannot help.
For this reason, being at the bottom of the list, Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J tank WoT
must play as carefully as possible and try not to exchange HP with the enemy, jealously guarding his own margin of safety. For these reasons, in such battles it is better to stay on the second line, fire from the bushes, without getting caught in the light.
In addition, WoT Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. J
can act as a support tank. In this case, you can either inflict damage from afar, or maneuver behind strong allies, shooting from behind their backs, and at the right moment, use excellent dynamics, make a dash and shoot unwary enemies in the stern and sides.
