Advantages and disadvantages
Pros of the Borner Beretta M84 pistol:
- It is very convenient to pull out, refill and replace the clip. Moreover, it is not plastic, as in many models, but metal.
- Exact match to the original weapon - both visually and in size.
- The handle fits comfortably in the palm with grooved inserts.
Disadvantages of the model:

Areas of use
Due to the high similarity to the original firearm, we can recommend buying this pistol to those who want to learn how to handle military weapons. Feeling its real heaviness in your hand, learning how to disassemble it and shooting skills. The Beretta analogue is well suited as the very first pneumatic gun.
Well, this device is often purchased for entertainment. He hits accurately, easily pierces and breaks cans and bottles from ten to twenty meters. And the magazine fits a lot of balls - there is no need to reload often.

Borner M84 air pistol (Beretta BRT84)
Externally, the Borner M84 air pistol looks like a military original. No person who does not understand this will be able to figure out that this is not a military weapon. From the well-known Beretta 84, the pistol received convenience, reliability and ease of use. Similar points are as follows: Firstly, the designers worked hard, so they got the perfect handle - thin, stylish and, of course, light. Secondly, we are pleased with the absolutely identical short barrel, which not only looks similar to the original, but also matches it in weight. In addition to all of the above, the device has a magazine that holds 19 rounds.
Pistol Beretta 84 / Beretta 81 (Italy)
In 1976, it simultaneously began serial production of three new models of pistols - the 7.65 mm Beretta 84 and the slightly different Beretta 81 , as well as the 9 mm Beretta 92 model. The Beretta 84 pistol is a representative of the new generation of Beretta pistols with free shutter. Models Beretta 81BB, 82BB, 83F, 84BB, 84F, 87BB and 87 BB/B are their modifications with the following differences: modifications “BB” have a single-row magazine of smaller capacity to reduce the thickness of the handle, an indicator of the presence of a cartridge in the chamber and an improved safety system due to the introduction of an automatic firing pin safety; modifications “F” have the same features as “BB”, as well as a safety release system that allows you to release the trigger without firing a shot if there is a cartridge in the chamber. Modification 87ВВ/В has a barrel extended to 150 mm.
The operating principle of the Beretta 81 is as follows. When fired, the bolt-casing, overcoming the resistance of the return spring and the mainspring of the hammer, goes back. In this case, the sleeve is pressed against the shutter mirror by the ejector until it meets the reflector. If the cartridges run out, the bolt-casing stops with a delay in the rear position. Otherwise, it returns forward under the action of the return spring, captures the next cartridge and sends it into the chamber. The red ejector flag extends to indicate the presence of a cartridge in the chamber. The hammer is cocked, the pistol is ready to fire. If it misfires, just press the trigger again.
The Beretta 81 pistol has an inertia striker - it is shorter than the bolt bore and is pressed back by a spring. Piercing a primer requires a lot of force to overcome the resistance of the spring. Therefore, the trigger can be gently pulled with your finger without affecting the firing pin. A double-sided safety lever locks the trigger and bolt.
The Beretta 81 pistol uses a double-stack magazine with a capacity of 12 rounds. A right- or left-sided magazine latch and a locking mechanism are installed, which facilitates disassembly but prevents accidental disconnection of parts.
This Beretta 84 differs from the Beretta 81 only in the caliber (9 mm) and the associated design changes in the barrel, magazine, feeder, and magazine spring. Externally, the pistols are no different. The Beretta 84 model was also produced by FN in Erstal under the designation BDA380 "Browning".
Characteristics of Beretta 81 / Beretta 84 Cartridge – 7.65x17mm / 9x17 mm. The principle of operation is the recoil of the free shutter, self-loading. Food – box magazine with a capacity of 12/13 rounds. Weight – 670 / 660 r. Weapon length – 172 mm. Barrel length – 97 mm. Rifling – 6 grooves (right-hand), pitch 250 mm. Sights - front and rear sights. The initial bullet speed is 300 / 280 m/s.

Fuses Non-automatic fuse box on the left side of the frame at the rear; the top position is “safety”.
Unloading The magazine release button is located on the left side behind the trigger guard. Remove the magazine, pull back the bolt to remove any cartridge that may be in the chamber; inspect the chamber through the bolt window. Release the shutter, pull the trigger. Disassembly : 1. Remove the magazine and make sure there is no cartridge in the chamber. 2. Holding the gun with your left hand, press the lock button and turn its lever counterclockwise until it stops. 3. Remove the shutter-casing assembly forward. 4. Gently disconnect the return spring with the guide rod from the barrel. 5. Remove the barrel. Further disassembly is not recommended.

The 8X series pistols were first produced by the Italian company Pietro Beretta SPa in 1976. Models 81 and 84 appeared first, soon followed by models 82 and 85. All these pistols had the same design and dimensions, differing only in caliber (models 81 and 82 - 7.65mm Browning, models 84 and 85 - 9x17mm Browning Short), and the same magazine capacity (models 81 and 84 have double-row magazines for 12 and 13 rounds, respectively, models 82 and 85 have single-row magazines for 8 rounds). In 1986, the Beretta model 86 pistol appeared, which was a hybrid of the model 85 pistol and the earlier model 950 pistol. The M86 pistol has a modified frame and bolt design, as well as a folding barrel. With the barrel folded back, the weapon can be inspected, cleaned, unloaded and loaded, and the latter is especially convenient for those who have weak hands and find it difficult to pull the bolt (women, mainly). In the lowered (combat) position, the barrel is secured with a push-button latch.
In addition, this family includes two small-caliber pistols chambered for the 5.6mm rimfire cartridge - models 87 and 89. Model 87 does not differ in appearance from other pistols, but has a single action trigger and can be produced with a regular or extended barrel. Designed primarily for sport shooting, the Model 89 features a long, heavy, shrouded barrel, an adjustable rear sight, and optic mounts on the top surface of the barrel shroud. The trigger is also single action.
All 8X series pistols are built on automatic blowback action. The trigger trigger, double-sided safety is located on the frame and, when turned on, separates the trigger and sear, and also blocks the bolt. The frame of all pistols is made of aluminum alloy, the bolt is steel, the cheeks of the handle are wood or plastic. Sights are fixed.
Modifications:
BB models (81BB, 84BB, 85BB, etc.). These models have improved safety systems: an automatic firing pin safety device has been introduced that blocks it until the trigger is fully pressed, a half-cocked hammer has been introduced and an indicator of the presence of a cartridge in the chamber has been introduced.
FS models (81FS, 84FS, 85FS...) FS modification models are the newest and are still being produced. They differ in the design of the fuse, which also received the function of forced safe release of the hammer when turned on. In addition, the shape of the trigger guard has been changed, in the manner of the Beretta 92FS pistol, for a more comfortable two-handed grip. Pistols of the 8xFS family are sold under the single commercial name Cheetah.
What can be improved
The main problem that many owners complain about is that the cylinder leaks air when fired. This happens for several reasons. The first - the needle that pierces the balloon is long, it protrudes beyond the edges of the gasket. The second is that the sides on the valve plug are made in such a way that it is impossible to achieve a tight fit of the gasket.
The problem is solved this way: the weak point is sealed by tightly winding fum tape. It also helps to apply EXPERT OIL lubricant to the neck of each new cylinder.
Other tuning options are optional. So, the presence of a large valve allows you to manipulate it. You can also make the barrel longer and try to soften the trigger.
