The magazine of the “Stalker” signal pistol was made by casting. During this process, a special alloy was used to give the magazine the appropriate qualities. More specifically, it is an alloy of aluminum and zinc. The shape is quite complex that can be seen externally without any difficulties.
The exterior finish (both on the right and left sides) contains stiffening ribs. Inside the store there are three special cavities. The first of them (the front one, along with a coiled spring) and the last one (the rear one) limit the length of the magazine. One of the features of this device is the feeder involved in the design.
This part is also made by casting and is quite complex. In the alloy from which the feeder is made, more aluminum is felt than zinc. Coating applied on top. It is very similar to chrome, but we can’t say for sure about it. It is quite possible that this is even a nickel coating.
Why was it necessary to cover the feeder with a layer of another metal? Experts agreed that the coating ensures a smoother movement of the part inside the magazine shaft. Friction and scuffing are reduced to almost the minimum value, which would be quite difficult to achieve without the use of nickel plating.
The feeder itself fits tightly into the magazine, which cannot be ignored. For this, in fact, the external protrusions and grooves, which were discussed a little earlier, are intended. If we put together this entire structure, all these features, one might even say, the design of the magazine, then in the end we get a smooth movement of the feeder inside the magazine shaft, the trajectory is strictly rectilinear. In the front part, the mechanism is pressed by a coiled spring.
Another detail serves as the bottom of the store. It is easy to guess that it is also cast. It locks the spring from below, and the magazine cover is placed on top of the part. The mechanism itself serves as a kind of lock. The interesting thing is that the lid is made of plastic.
Advantages and disadvantages
Users consider the advantages of signal weapons to be affordable in comparison with other similar pistols on the market. At the same time, for the same price you can buy a more effective injury, which provides better protection against attackers.
Stalker 906 is suitable for repelling aggressive dogs. The gun makes a loud noise when fired, and a bright flame bursts out of the barrel. Most animals, including those gathered in a flock, will be scared off by this combination.
A plastic case with metal internal mechanisms allowed the developer to reduce the weight of the model. This also ensures the use of aluminum alloy components in the manufacture. Cartridges must be inserted into the magazine one at a time. If you look closely, you will notice that the upper cartridge in the structure will be located at an acute angle in relation to the plane. If you insert a loaded magazine into the pistol grip, you will clearly notice the fact that the upper cartridge with the chamber is on the same line.
Thanks to this, when the bolt is chambered by the mirror, the ammunition enters the chamber immediately, without any unnecessary collisions with any structural parts. Another feature is the cartridge welt. If there is only one cartridge in the magazine, you will not notice anything. But if there are several of them, then you can see how subsequent cartridges will deviate slightly in different directions.
In fact, when loading a magazine, it is easy to notice that the parts of the cartridges in which the bullet is located will be located strictly above each other. At the same time, the tails of the cartridges will diverge left and right in a checkerboard pattern. Why was this done? This feature allows you to save space in the store. Thus, the angle between the direction of the upper and lower chuck is slightly different.
Technical characteristics of Stalker
To begin with, it’s worth mentioning the magazine capacity of this pistol. Despite its compact size, it can load up to 10 rounds, which is undoubtedly a unique case. The gun handle itself is 34 millimeters wide. Due to the width and shape of the handle, using the weapon becomes very convenient, especially if you add it all with a “heel”. It is worth noting that due to the width of the handle, the Stalker pistol cannot be easily carried in your pocket.
The weight of the unloaded pistol is 650 grams. Thus, it will be difficult to carry the weapon without using a holster. Following from this, I would like to draw a small conclusion: the Stalker is not a compact weapon, but it can be called a pistol of the smallest possible dimensions.” The pistol is 140 mm long and 109 mm high. This is smaller than many traumatic pistols, but does not reach the highest compactness, such as, for example, the WASP-R.
When it comes to carrying this pistol, there is a huge selection of holsters for it. Many of them can even be used in the warm season, when a person wears mainly thin clothes. But, nevertheless, in the summer you can wear a larger traumatic weapon, which will be noticeable in the same way as the Stalker traumatic pistol.
