To prevent mechanical parts from breaking down, you just need to keep them clean. Maintenance includes simply wiping the pistol contacts with a rag moistened with alcohol, removing dust and dirt, as well as lubricating moving parts (the loop of the chamber block, for example).

Only one element of the kit has a high chance of being replaced. This is a battery. Its capabilities are limited by production technology. After intensive use, a shooting battery may begin to discharge faster, failing its owner at the wrong moment. For this reason, the Wasp models, where the shot is fired from the influence of the MIG impulse, are considered more reliable in this regard. Changing the battery is very simple. There is a plug at the bottom of the gun, by unscrewing which you can gain access to the supply element and replace it with a new one.

Disassembling and assembling the weapon is not very difficult; most of the elements are fixed with screws, unscrewing which you can see the electronic components of the pistol (circuits, wires). It is not recommended to climb into them without special knowledge, because... this may cause the weapon to malfunction. Crisis of the genre. We decided to restore order in the area of ​​traumatic weapons circulation. They began to tighten the nuts and tightened them further. Most of them have started to get rid of LLC. They got rid of it as best they could. Barrelless weapons are almost never in demand on the secondary market. Stores are reluctant to take commissions. All display cases are littered with aegis guard wasps. Nobody takes them. That's why they sell them for pennies. Either donate or dispose of. I disposed of my “guard”. Everything is very simple.

At one time I bought a wasp with a laser for 8 thousand + spent money on a holster, batteries and cartridges. In 15, I put it up for sale as a set for 5 thousand, and posted it on almost all sites where there are advertisements for the sale of weapons. The ad hung for more than six months, and somehow we managed to sell it all for a measly 4 thousand rubles, and then the buyer almost changed his mind about buying. 5. State fees for licenses. The thickness of the “Wasp” is 39 mm! For example, the thickness of a full-size APS army pistol is 34 mm! The thickness of almost 4 cm makes it almost impossible to carry a weapon hidden on the belt, especially in the warm season, which deprives it of any practicality.

My opinion is that the “Wasp” is a good device for scaring away dogs and launching signal flares or a weapon of complacency. Trusting her with your life is okay. It is useless against a motivated opponent, and it’s easier to spray it on an unmotivated opponent and kick it away. Fuck injuries, do you want to sit down? A gas spray is a solution, after all. And from Osa, etc. If you get it in the eye, you will die or suffer serious harm to your health - you will be imprisoned 200%.... Then it’s better to carry a kitchen knife with you in a store-bought package - like you just bought it, otherwise they’ll also show intent. or a screwdriver...

I purchased the PB-4-1 ML back in 2007, and it still serves faithfully to this day. Reliability is top notch. There were misfires only twice during the entire service life, both times with signal cartridges (colored “missiles”). Never traumatic. I wear dress shirts, so I don’t have any problems wearing them on my belt. I have practically never tried new cartridges with a pure rubber bullet, but the old ones - with a steel core - are good.

I have had Osa BP-4-2 since 2010. Even new bullets up to 91 J penetrate through a chipboard board of 1.5 -2 cm. There were no misfires. One idiot here writes that “you have to shoot in the face and throat.” You’ll be jailed. Even with ordinary farts like PM, you can knock out an eye. The number of rounds... It depends on what the situation is. Usually the first two shots make all the difference. You won't kill, but you'll gain time to drip.
