Domestic pneumatic pistol Anix A-112

Good afternoon and clear weather to the readers of this resource. The next review will be devoted to the Anix A-112 gas-cylinder pneumatic pistol. We sit down more comfortably and evaluate this unit.

Society’s opinion on the “hundredth” series of Anixes (101, 111, 112 and their modifications) is very contrasting. The A-112 sample we are considering is no exception. There will be both ardent supporters and cruel critics. Let's start our immersion into the world of 112x with the tactical and technical characteristics.

History of the pistol

The Anix A-112 pistol is a copy of the Smith & Wesson model and is similar in appearance to the Browning of the 30s. The pneumatics are equipped with a classic design, when the gas cartridge and the clip are in the handle, without being connected to each other. The center of gravity of the pistol is greatly shifted forward, which reduces vibration when firing, increasing the accuracy of fire.

The first model A-112 was manufactured in 2001. During this period, some changes were made in the design of the weapon. In stores you can find pistols of different years of production and modifications, but in general the technical characteristics are approximately the same.

First look

At first glance, the “cons” of the pistol begin, making it an unacceptable purchase for some. The external similarity of the pistol with combat models ends in failure. This is not a replica of the Makarovs, TTs, Berettas, Colts, this is the most common collective image of a pistol intended for recreational shooting. Without any moving bolts or blowbacks, without metal magazines, with an incomprehensible aiming bar and a “difficult to turn on” fuse.

Gun and magazines

And this ordinary pistol made of a metal alloy, with plastic handles and magazines, hides inside it a thermonuclear potential that reveals it from the other side.

Equipment

When purchasing a new pistol we have:

  • a plastic case (in the style of a Hitman suitcase), quite convenient for carrying a pistol, inside it there are foam pads so that the weapon does not “walk” while being carried;
  • the pistol itself, with a magazine;
  • The spare magazine is a nice touch. It is worth noting that the store of this brand corresponds to the entire hundredth series of Anixes, so we are glad of their availability and fairly low price;
  • Well, and a passport.

Functional

Many RuNet articles will claim that the Anix A-112 air pistol is the most powerful air pistol. Of course, there will be competitors, but there is some truth in its power indicators. As can be seen from the performance characteristics, the pistol is classified in the category of weapons up to 7.5 J, which means there is room for improvement in terms of speed indicators. This indicator is also influenced by the principle of operation of the pistol - the already well-worn mechanism of the movable barrel, which at the moment of impact on the valve minimizes gas leaks, guaranteeing a high coefficient of dope extraction. Having a smooth barrel, the A-112 air pistol prefers to shoot standard round 4.5 mm (0.3 g) BeBashkas. The average speed of a shot at a hospital with such a projectile is around 160 m/s, which classifies this toy as a powerful air pistol.

The magazines for 15 balls on the 112th are plastic. Alarmists and others are not running away, the stores are suitable for all models of the hundredth series, and their price can pleasantly surprise you in comparison with other competitors. If treated well, some of them can live for more than two years. I’ll also note here that the magazines are removed by themselves and very easily, by lifting the latch, there is no need to break anything.

The pistol is equipped with open sights with a rear sight adjustable in two planes. Calling this piece of iron, which is adjustable with one “screw,” the entire fingers resist a lot, but you can shoot.

There is also a two-position fuse (on the left with a red stripe OFF, on the right without a stripe ON). Before shooting, it is recommended to practice switching, since there have already been incidents with a “lethal” outcome.

The shooting cylinder is located in the handle and is pierced with a clamping screw-plug. It screws in easily, but in field conditions with trembling hands difficulties may arise - the thread is thin and sometimes it doesn’t fit. Otherwise, with good tires, the puncture goes away even without a pinch.

Well, it’s worth talking about the accuracy and accuracy of the pistol. In general, pistols with a smooth (and almost all of them are) and movable barrels are not naturally gifted with good accuracy - the bullets tend to scatter. And here there is also the traditional Anixov heavy trigger, which strives to move the barrel to the sides when fired. The pistol does not give good results on targets, but for shooting at large objects it is just right.

Principle of operation

The structure of the pistol does not allow you to cock the hammer yourself, since the role of the trigger is played by the barrel itself with a weight attached to it, while the trigger is simply a decorative part of the body. The dispenser is located at the rear. There is a hole for the cartridge on the lower surface of the breech. After pressing the trigger guard, the barrel moves forward and compresses the spring. When the extreme forward position is reached, the cartridge is fed from the holder. Then, using a spring, the barrel sharply moves back and hits the dispenser valve.

The stiffness of the spring and the weight of the weight are selected so as to slightly open the valve for a time sufficient to supply a portion of gas.

Population breeds

There are several pistol options.

A-112

Original pistol. Speed up to 165 m/s, number of shots up to 50 from a cylinder.

A-112L

A version of the pistol equipped with a laser designator.

Here are the characteristics of the laser:

  • Radiation wavelength 630-680 mm
  • Radiation power no more than 3 mW
  • Battery type E11A
  • Supply voltage 3…6 Volts
  • Light spot diameter 5-10 mm
  • Effective target designation range 0-40 m (depending on shooting conditions)

A-112 Sport

A stripped-down version of the pistol (apparently under 3 J) - up to 130 m/s, up to 100 shots from a cylinder.

A-112L Sport

The same sports version with laser center on board.

It was not possible to produce specimens of the A-112 pneumatic pistol in the LB version (with an extended barrel and a false silencer) in the factory atmosphere, but the original A-112 already has a longer barrel than its relatives.

Repair and replacement of parts

Anix a-3000 "Skif" air pistol - author's review
Replacing the gaskets in the gun is quite simple, but requires incomplete disassembly. The first sign of a decrease in tightness in the system is a clear “hissing” of gas and a decrease in the firing speed of the new cylinder.

Repair of trigger parts is rarely required and is sometimes necessary after careless handling of the weapon (when the pistol is hit or dropped). Replacing a damaged rear sight is a more pressing problem, since it is difficult to find on sale. Try to treat sights with care, as their performance critically affects shooting accuracy.

Disassembly

Disassembling the pistol directly corresponds to disassembling the A-111 (read the link). Here we note that the disassembly and assembly process itself will take no more than 10 minutes, and not a single part or spring is guaranteed to be lost (for hands of average crookedness and below). During disassembly, foreign analogues strive to shoot the owner with randomly flying spare parts.

Complete disassembly of A-112

In terms of reliability, I have been the owner of the pistol (111) for 2 years, so far without any complaints. And there are owners of similar things with more than 5 years of experience. The main repair of the hundredth Anix is changing the gaskets to prevent poisoning. Otherwise, it works like a charm and pleases (or not so much) your comrades. In general, it is potentially capable of outliving its owner.

A-112 air pistols are subject to both upgrade and downgrade for humane shooting at people. The Internet is full of manuals and ideas, and even ready-made tuning kits pop up. So, under artificial conditions and from the 112th, you can steam an eLBEHA.

Minuses:

  • accuracy (there is, but for some reason it’s lame).

As you can see, there are noticeably more pros than cons. Although, this assessment, of course, is very subjective and is based solely on the experience of playing hardball games. And we remember that the main thing in shooting is practice and regular training.

The review was carried out from the point of view of application on hardball; for other areas, some points should be reconsidered.

Differences from the hundredth series

Anix A-112 is a logical continuation of the 111th. From the 101, its internal differences, like the A-111, are cardinal - a removable receiver cover, a removable valve with full and easy access, and a bunch of other smaller differences that also affect the disassembly procedure. It differs from the original A-111 in its longer barrel and the presence of a muzzle. In fact, both the 101 had a modification with the 101M muzzle, and the 111th had this modification embodied in the Anics A-112 air pistol.

Removable cap and muzzle

The first body movements of a hardball player

Let's get it all. We are loading stores. We immediately visually assess their serviceability in the future, because due to their damage, a number of problems are possible, in particular with the swallowing of excess bullets under the trigger. We tighten the cylinder - carefully get into the thread, tighten the nut until it stops, and with a sharp movement tighten the cylinder. One of the difficulties of installing a new cylinder is that in a nervous environment it can be difficult to get into the thread. The result is that we have a loaded pistol, take the safety off, pull the trigger, rejoice and delight those around us with the sound.

Fuse on Anix

We fire a few more shots at everything we see. We're going to check another store. We press the magazine latch (in which direction you will determine on the spot) and it freely separates from the gun. Next, we shake the pistol, waiting for the bullet to fall out of the resulting hole - this is due to the Anix’s ability to swallow the next bullet to fire. Don't forget about this feature, because... Some of the bullets that do not fly out end up under the trigger and then, through trial and error, you have to get them out of there. We insert the prepared second magazine. And we shoot him to the end.

By the way, the clips are plastic. They are located, like the cylinder, in the handle.

Modernization

Upgrading an Anix pistol is a very popular activity among airgun owners. Don’t forget that the pistol is equipped with a dovetail sighting bar, so you can install almost any upgrade on it. In addition, you can always modify the appearance or work to improve the technical characteristics of the model. Here are the most common ideas that Anix A-12 owners resort to:

  1. Replacing fiber optics with a diopter sight. This device is allowed in competitions and is preferable for target shooting.
  2. Repainting weapons in a different color. The standard appearance is not very presentable, so some owners change this by using military paint.
  3. Installation of a collimator sight on a dovetail. A great idea for those who want to use a pistol with increased power for hunting.
  4. Replacing the laser center with a more modern one. The standard laser does not shine very well, but the new models are visible even in the brightest room.
  5. Installation of a more powerful gas cylinder with an increased atmosphere rating. Increases not only the power of the weapon, but also its initial bullet speed.

And these are just the basic ideas that you can adopt after purchasing a pistol. In addition, if desired, the pistol can be modified beyond recognition to suit individual requirements. The most important thing is to purchase the “body kit” that fits the “Anixa”.

Requirements for a pistol for self-defense

Many experts argue that the use of pneumatic guns for self-defense is not always justified, since this pistol will only scare a petty thief. If real criminals attack, then with these weapons you can only harm yourself. In this case, more damage to the attacker can be caused by hitting with a metal object than by shooting from it.

Much more often, pneumatic models are used to gain shooting skills or outdoor entertainment. But if you decide to choose this particular weapon for self-defense, then you need to find out in detail all the characteristics and features of this pistol, as well as know how to choose a pneumatic and which one of the models on the market.

Types of air pistols:

  1. Compression - before firing from a weapon of this type, you first need to pump a special receiving tank, only then the bullets are loaded - and the gun is ready for use. The main disadvantage is that a lot of energy is spent during air pumping. Among the main advantages, it is necessary to highlight the fact that there are multi-charged models, as well as those that require alternate charging.
  2. Balloon - in this type of pneumatics, balls are inserted into a clip, and the shot itself is fired using carbon dioxide filled into the cylinders. Such pistols are closest in similarity to their military counterparts.
  3. Piston pistols are the simplest pistols that are easy to maintain. When the barrel is broken, the spring begins to compress, and then any lead bullet can be installed. This operating scheme reminds many of the well-known “air” gun. The main advantage is that these models do not require gas cylinders; the disadvantages are the pistol’s poor stability when firing and low rate of fire.

Basic requirements when choosing an air pistol for self-defense:

To begin with, you don’t need to purchase a weapon that needs to be loaded every time before firing a shot.

Because if an attack occurs, there will be no time to load the bullet. If you need a pistol for self-defense, then in appearance the model should resemble a combat analogue, so that in a conflict situation you can scare the attacker. When choosing, you need to pay attention to metal models; they also look more realistic. There should be no unnecessary elements in the pistol grip, this indicates that there is a pneumatic pistol in the hands of the defender. street (and it’s better to hide the gun, since carrying it is not very legal), you need to learn how to shoot somewhere outside the city in order to avoid embarrassment in case of danger

If it is clear how to choose the right pneumatic for self-defense, and the decision has been made to buy it, then you must not forget that before walking with a pistol on the street (and it is better to hide the pistol, since carrying it is not very legal), you need to go somewhere outside the city learn to shoot in order to avoid embarrassment in case of danger.

Unlike pneumatic pistols, traumatic models are more similar to their combat counterparts. But the cartridges that are used for shooting have a steel core mounted in a rubber ball. Pneumatics can be used even without a license. The main differences between these weapon options:

  • pneumatics will not require permission for purchase, use and storage;
  • the price of pneumatics is much lower in contrast to a traumatic pistol;
  • the scope of use of these weapon options is different;
  • Air guns do not cause such harm to the human body.

History of the pistol

The armory began mass production of air guns in 1995. During this time, they developed 6 main models of pistols with a huge range of different modifications. In terms of its performance, Anix weapons significantly exceed import taxes.

The main advantages that set this pneumatic apart are:

  1. Durability of all mechanisms and structural components.
  2. High reliability.
  3. Recharge speed.
  4. Ease of use.
  5. Good rate of fire.
  6. High shot power.
  7. Compliance with all standards.
  8. Excellent accuracy and accuracy.

These pneumatic models are used for recreational purposes, although they can be used as civilian pistols to gain shooting skills. But one of the first main models was “Anix A-101”.

This is a smooth-bore pneumatic gun with a caliber of 4.5 mm and has a single trigger (can only be fired by self-cocking). The cartridges are fed from the clip using a spring feeder located in the handle.

"Anix A-101" served as the base model during the design and manufacture of a large series of gas pistols. A striking example is the Anix A-101M pneumatic, which has some differences in design.

History of the pistol

We know little about the history of the creation of Anix - only that engineers began to bring their idea to life in 2009, and that the famous Beretta was used as a combat prototype. Initially, the arms factory planned to release an inexpensive but good model, which would differ from imported analogues by fundamentally new systems. However, as development progressed, the engineers encountered some difficulties, so some of the ideas had to be shelved under the name “modifications.”

After the first days of release, “Anix” did not make a sufficient impression on buyers. Yes, many people were attracted by the built-in laser pointer and the ability to adjust the softness of the trigger, but the price of 10,000 rubles remained prohibitively high for the common population. And then the manufacturer decided to replace the standard 15-gram cylinder with a lighter one, thereby reducing the power of the pistol and its cost. As a result, the weapon received the A-112 prefix at the end and began to be used for shooting practice and competitions.

Design

The model is equipped with an original operating circuit of the automatic mechanism. The barrel is used as a trigger - pressing the trigger moves it forward, pressing the mainspring. Breaking the sear allows it to return back, hitting the valve in its final position.

When the valve is struck, a shot is fired, and the barrel pressed against the valve prevents gas leaks. This significantly reduces the consumption of the cylinder and provides more energy for the initial speed of the bullet.

Due to this operating principle, high power is ensured, almost unattainable for pneumatic pistols with a classical operating scheme. The absence of a “Blowback” mechanism in the design reduces gas consumption per shot.

Before use, the clip is equipped with balls, and the gas cartridge is installed in the lower compartment of the handle. The can is then screwed in until the sealed neck is broken through and sealed. Next, the loaded magazine is installed in the handle, and the pistol is removed from the safety catch.

It is advisable to shoot at regular paper targets. The shooting distance is no more than 10 m, although if you lack skills, professionals recommend setting targets at a distance of 5 m.

The bullet ejected with high power has a high penetration ability and passes right through the glass bottle. When choosing a place for shooting, you need to make sure that there are no people or animals in the direction of the shots. The model hits harder and further than similar air pistols, and therefore can cause injuries even at a considerable distance.
