The P226 TK-Pro 9x19 caliber pistol, produced since 2015, is assembled in Izhevsk from components produced by the Chinese company Norinco (China North Industries Corporation).
The design and appearance are similar to one of the most famous examples of modern short-barreled weapons - the German self-loading 9-mm pistol Sig Sauer P226, which has been in steady demand since 1983 and has been adopted by the armies of the United States, New Zealand, Egypt and Israel. The automation of the P226 TK-Pro sports pistol produced by Tekhkrim works on the principle of recoil of the barrel with a short stroke. Locking is carried out using a lowering barrel, engaging the upper protrusion of its breech with an enlarged window of the shutter-casing for ejecting spent cartridges. The reduction occurs when the inclined plane of the barrel tide interacts with the axis of the barrel lock. The pistol's automatic operation was tested using domestic cartridges (BPZ, NPZ, TPZ).
The trigger mechanism P226 TK-Pro is hammer-operated, double-action with safety cocking. Descent with warning. The weapon has a safety release lever located on the left side of the frame. When you press this lever, it goes down, raising the sear, and disengages it from the cocking slot. Under the influence of the mainspring, the hammer rotates until the safety cocking slot engages the sear without contact with the firing pin, which makes the weapon convenient and safe to use.
On the left side of the frame of the P226 TK-Pro pistol there is also a bolt stop lever, a barrel lock and a safety trigger lever. The pistol does not have a special non-automatic safety. Safe handling of the pistol is ensured by locking the firing pin. The shot cannot be fired until the trigger is pressed.
All this significantly increases safety and allows you to fire the first shot much faster. The magazine latch is located at the base of the trigger guard. P226 TK-Pro cartridges are fed from a detachable box magazine with a double-row arrangement of cartridges when they exit in one row. In the manufacture of barrels, a special wear-resistant stainless steel alloy is used, which makes it possible to ensure a barrel life of more than 100,000 shots in 9x19 caliber, even when using cartridges with a bimetallic bullet.
A version of this sample in the form of an OOOP traumatic pistol, which has become a novelty on the Russian market of “rubber-shooting” weapons, is produced under the designation P226T TK-P.

Guys, hello! I would like to share my two years of experience in owning the R226TK Pro pistol from Techkrim, in 10x28 caliber.
I bought this pistol in 2015. What is this traumatic TK226? This is an almost identical copy of the SigSauer P226 pistol from the Norinco arms factory in China. Stop! At this point you might cringe at the word China, but the Norinco is a licensed copy of the Zig called the NP226, which is freely sold in Canada for $350-$400 CAD. Norinco is banned in the USA)))) The George W. Bush administration put this company on the sanction list for allegedly supplying weapons to Iran. I saw the NP226 in Canada, just as I shot the real SigSauer P226, which costs $600-700 in the US in the basic configuration and is almost freely sold in all states. And these toys are available to anyone who wants to feel them in their hands. Let's leave aside the fact that the United States is the largest arms market in the world. So. Techkrim purchased the Chinese version of the NP226, which, with the hands of Russian craftsmen, produces 2 types of traumatic pistol. Service traumatik R226TS and civilian traumatik R226TK-Pro. Tekhkrim also produces the TK226 “Sportivny” rifled short barrel in 9x19 Luger caliber. As in my review of the Phantom 9 r.a pistol. from Course-S, first I will kick hard on the “soft” place of the manufacturer. That is, Tekhkrima. What do we have with you? We have Chinese parts of good quality, which are imported to Russia. Techkrim places a barrel on it, and a feature of SigSauer clone pistols is an inertial (free) bolt, which is not engaged by a fixed barrel screwed to the pistol frame. In the traumatic version, the barrel of the pistol is in the bolt and is held on a removable pin (with certain skill). The pin is made to prevent scoundrels from installing a rifled barrel on it. In the USA, by the way, barrels are sold as spare parts. There is a transverse “hook” on the frame of the pistol, which is also not present in the “Sports” version. This was also done to ensure that the scoundrels’ conversion of a pistol into a military firearm would not go unnoticed by the police. As a result, the traumatic version of the pistol now costs 50-62 thousand rubles, which, taking into account the retail price of the short-barreled Norinco in Canada, is 2.5 times higher than the cost of the combat version of the Norinco.
A simple calculation shows a multiple trade markup on imported Chinese parts, which can be sold to the Russian consumer due to the microscopic nature and regulation of the Russian arms market. This, again, relates to the question of the cost and price of LLCs in Russia. It's extremely overpriced. Therefore, we have what we have. However, if the factory sells not thousands of pistols a month, but hundreds, then the price cannot be low. Although. Why not? Now let's move on to the P226TK-Pro pistol. What is R226TK-Pro? This is completely a Norinco base, with a barrel bored out by the guys from Techkrim. They don't do anything else other than build the gun, paint it, and certify it. I've run out of tar, let's start adding honey. Pros of the pistol: 1) High-quality packaging of the pistol and a beautiful case. Other OOO manufacturers can and should take this as an example. The price of a beautiful case in China is, well, no more than 25-30 dollars. 2) Aluminum pistol frame. 3) Steel shutter. Inertial bolt and smooth steel barrel without “weakening”. In the trunk itself there is a small tooth-constriction. There is no weakening of the barrel. 4) USM steel inserts. 5) Very close resemblance to SigSauer226, from which the grips and holsters are suitable. 6) Excellent accuracy and good rate of fire for traumatic weapons. 7) Possibility of using a 15-round magazine for shooting at a shooting range. By law, you can carry no more than 10 rounds of ammunition in a pistol. Unless, of course, you recharged 5 more later))) The stores are also suitable from Norinco. Good paint job on the pistol (new 2022 pistols get a bit of a complaint in this regard) and excellent appearance. 9) Excellent “adjustability” and soft cocking of the bolt. The pistol is comfortable to hold and convenient to put into combat mode. 10) No fuse. I also consider this a definite advantage of the pistol. 11) Convenient magazine reset. If you have additional stores, you can hold the defense for a long time)))) 12) Reliability. Allows you to shoot even old pre-reform cartridges.
Sports and “traumatic” pistols TK-226
Externally, the TK-226 is very similar to the SigSauer P226 pistol, known for its high quality workmanship. In fact, the TK-226 is a Chinese clone of the SigSauer 226 from the Norinco weapons factory. The pistol has been produced in China for a long time, bypassing patents. Since Russia's integration into the European Union is in limbo, importing Norinco 226 was not difficult. The weapon was imported to Russia as a sporting weapon (that is, available only to legal entities), where it was assigned the index TK-226. “TK” stands for “TechCream”, with the number “226” everything is clear.
The sports TK-226 in 9x19 Luger caliber in Russia, in addition to its name, was tested for compliance with GOST 50529-2010 and received a certificate as a sports short-barreled weapon. You can read more about the pistol in any article dedicated to the SigSauer P226.
We were interested to know how much the Chinese clone differs from the original.
If you do not take into account the stamps, the color of the bolt and the plastic of the handle cheeks of questionable quality, the clone is made of relatively high quality. As you know, the original Sig bolt and bolt housing are 2 different parts. The Chinese clone completely replicates the design of the original. All surfaces of the bolt housing show traces of machining of the metal, which indicates that the housing is milled from a single piece. True, the marks of the cutter on the internal surfaces are noticeably rougher than those from the domestic manufacturer.
There are no complaints about the quality of the frame - it is aluminum and cast perfectly. Anodizing the frame is also ideal. But the devil, as they say, is in the details. For example, the steel screws of the handle cheeks are screwed directly into the aluminum frame. The place in the frame for the thread was worn out by the cat, the screws were set crookedly. What prevented us from making steel inserts-washers with threads remains a mystery. Especially considering the retail price of the gun. The plastic of the cheeks is hard, the casting quality is average, there is some flash.
The barrel of the sports pistol does not stand out in any way - the bore is well polished, 6 right-hand riflings are clear and even. Nothing can be said about the resource - practice will show everything. Although, in our opinion, the barrel will outlast the pistol. Not because it is of high quality, but because the frame trunnions in the rear part for the shutter are aluminum and are integral with the frame. Only the trigger insert in the area of the trigger guard has steel guides. Despite the decent contact area of the aluminum guides on the frame, the steel of the bolt will wear out on their surfaces, which will lead to play in the bolt casing on the pistol frame.
In the front part, the TK-226 frame has a fashionable Picattiny guide, on which you can install any attachment: a flashlight, laser laser or other module. It is difficult to say how necessary this option is on a sports pistol. In everyday life, the sharp edges of the Piccatiny interface make it difficult to quickly draw a weapon from a holster.
The name TK-226 is also borne by the Firearms of Limited Damage (LDF) chambered for the 10x28 cartridge.
The donor for the “traumatic” TK-226 was the sports TK-226. The self-defense weapon received a completely new fixed barrel, made inseparable from the pistol bolt. In the photo below, the bolt with an integral barrel of the OOOP TK-226 is compared with the bolt and barrel of the sports TK-226:
The frame insert OOOP TK-226 is equipped with a blind transverse pin. The pin does not allow the new-made barrel to move backwards and at the same time does not allow the barrel from a sports pistol to be installed on the frame. Thus, non-interchangeability of the main parts of the “traumatic” and sports pistols has been achieved.
The bore of the OOOP TK-226 is smooth with one transverse protrusion in the form of a pin, which does not allow the pistol to be fired with hard projectile equipment.
However, in comparison with the barrels of the T12 and T11 pistols, the bore diameter of the TK-226 is noticeably smaller, which left some doubts about the possibility of firing cartridges produced by Fortuna LLC with a heavy ball. The passport for the TK-226 states that for shooting, 10x28 traumatic cartridges produced by Tekhkrim should be used, where the mass of the ball is 1.7 g.
We have not yet tested the pistol, so we are sharing only our first impressions.
In any case, the TK-226 is one of the few new products on the Russian market of self-defense weapons. Moreover, this model has never been presented in the form of an LLC before.
Sports and “traumatic” TK-226 are supplied in solid plastic cases with external stiffeners. The packaging is of very high quality and perfectly protects the weapon during transportation.
Externally (except for the caliber designation), the sports TK-226 differs from the OOOP pistol in the blued chamber, which protrudes beyond the cartridge ejection window. The OOOP TK-226 has a light-colored chamber and is recessed into the bolt casing, since the “traumatic” version has a free bolt and a fixed barrel.
Memories from use
Foreign magazines in reviews say that the P226 from Norinco is nothing more than a high-quality copied model of the S&S P226 and the standard price is very reasonable. Regarding spare parts, comparing (spare parts) Norinco with the original, it is permissible to say that the installation of unique springs, shutter delays, etc. it won't be too difficult. The overlap in the receiver, by analogy with the same T12 Slovakia, is insignificant. The inner surface of the barrel has an almost mirror polish. It must be said that it is not further weakened by grooves. The material was chosen wisely (stainless steel), dimensions 40x13. The barrel wall has a thickness of 3.5 mm, a diameter of 13.5 mm, where the upper groove is located the wall has a thickness of 2 mm.
